MrsFish · 28/02/2008 09:45

Thanks Jahan - I went on the XT last night and did half an hour, today is a new day

Katy - I think you are inspirational enough to be a leader, you are doing a great job on this thread

susie - thanks for that, my ds is 20 weeks old on friday, its my birthday at the next weigh in and I aiming for there to be an 11 in front of the numbers so I need to try and lose 3lb this week

Discoverlife - I can't believe the scrapes you get in to, every day its something new

I had quite a good nights sleep last night, DH decided he was going to sleep in the barn to sleep without being woken up by ds2 so I had the bed to myself and ds2 the little angel decided to sleep through for the first time in ages, bloody typical. I was woken twice by ds1 instead though DS1 is at nursery all day today so I am going to attempt to do Davina and then XT and exercises tonight aswell

discoverlife · 28/02/2008 10:56

Good morning ladies.
A walk to the village is in order today 2 miles each way. (I'll be a cripple at the end of this week). It's all because of the Sun newspaper and their Alton Towers ticket offer. Collect 6 different newspaper tokens and send them off before the 10th March and you get 2 FREE entry tickets to Alton Towers. We have been wanting to go for ages but its sooo expensive. The catch is that they choose the day for you, which isn't going to bother us, we would prefer a mid week school day.
I am also going to phone the hairdressers and make 'that' appointment, now I've gone off the wite with purple tips, because of regrowth problems, so how about natural top layer with a kalidescope of colours underneath? Any suggestions for a CRAZY hair color ladies?

discoverlife · 28/02/2008 13:01

Still haven't done the walk yet, to many e-mails. etc. And my DS1 used up all the hot water, there is no way that I am going to the village with out a shower.

susiecutiemincepies · 28/02/2008 13:40

SPOTTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

SO good to see you! Not much more to add really, Polly as pretty much covered it I am starting Slimming world, as soon as they send me all the bumf for it. Been doing slim fast, but have not really lost anything recently. I've no idea why, as I realyl have not been eating badly. Just drinking a fair bit of baileys this week...

Isobel is now sleeping through the night! Yipppeeeeeee, I will too, I hope before long. If you need to know how we did it, do ask... ( proud mum emoticon )

Not sure I will re juvenate the Ding -a -ling line on this thread, needless to say, you are all nuts.

I had a good few hours sleep again last night, woke at half 3 and was awake until half 5 Isobel, of course, was asleep all night again. Is it tempting fate to say I think I can safely say she sleeps through the night full stop ???

on a sadder note Just watching the news about that childrens home on Jersey. So so sad. Vunerable children in need of love, care and support, treated so horrendously. upsets me immensely to think about what happened to those poor children.
I'd love to be in a position to foster children. I just know, i'd never have the property, or the means with which to do it. I'd just love to though. If the local authority could run some kind of scheme for people who want to, helping them with larger housing, then I'd do it in a shot. how can anyone harm children ? how?

Anyway sorry, off on a tangent then...

B slimfast
L slimfast
D Roasted vegetable, cabbage, peas and broad beans mixed with garlic, and the griddled steak I was going to have yesterday!
Snacks so far: yoghurt with seeds. Banana, satsuam, apple x 2 handful of dried apricots and 3 figs. ( should keep things moving )

Hope you are all being good, and keeping motivated... will see you all here later.

WELCOME HOME SPOTTY

Spotty shoes HELLOOOOOOO!!!! Good to see you!

Katy - definitely go for it - you have started here, you would be great in RL.

I am going to recount the calories I NEED to do effectively 1h45mins aerobic exercise per day (to take dd to childminders). because I am not losing, maybe I am eating not enough/ the wrong stuff at the wrong time? I am definitely burning it.

MrsFish · 28/02/2008 19:36

I have done a Davina workout this morning and I am just about to go and do half an hour on the XTrainer too.

B = 2oz cornflakes with hot water and tsp of halfspoon
L = chicken and veg soup, pear, banana
D = Homemade lasagne, only one layer of pasta the rest veg and mince, with ribbons of courgette. ww yoghurt.

Only 3 pints of water and one coffee and one tea today

katylessbumpy · 28/02/2008 19:43

thanks mlp,i am going to do it in about 6 months.
i think you may be right about not eating enough.you need to fuel your body so it can burn effectively.

mrsfish you put me to shame lol.i still have done any excercise but i have finally managed to sort out dds.it was so frustrating getting things out off her wardrobe to find they didn't fit.so i've pulled all the small things out and am off to ebay

need a drink first though.i'm roasting.

have you settled in now mlp?you haven't missed anything in sunny manchester lol

Hi everyone,

Good news you're all being so good!

bel good news about your dress size dropping - CONGRATULATIONS!!

Susie - not good about you being awake in the night

I've been fairly good today, I have eaten 3 halves of warburtons batches when i could have had tortilla's!

B- porridge with honey
L - half tin of steak and potato soup with half batch.
D- grated carrot with grapes and orange followed by tomato soup and a batch.

Managed to resist..........
the biscuits at toddler group, the giant buttons in the fridge plus the cookies i brought from the cake sale at school (even though the kids didn't even eat them all so they went in the bin! I paid £1 for 4!!!!!! They weren't even big!!) Plus when i got home mil had brought 2 bags of mini eggs which i lurrrrrrrveee so have promised myself if i've done well tomorrow i'll have a few of those! So much temptation it's not fair!!

Tomorrow i'll give it one last push, I'm going to walk to school and back and not eat or drink anything i shouldn't!!

Keep it up everyone, you're all doing so well!!
