Hi all. Please no negative comments or judgement as I have experience in this. I normally do intermittent fasting or smoothie cleanse but wanted to try slim fast. Need to loose the baby weight after baby number three. With IF I have lost 40lbs so far. I did slim fast before my three kids and lost sooo much weight so I know it works. I will be replacing the snacks with smoothies/fruits. I start tomorrow. Is anyone else on it and how it going and how much weight have you lost. I will also be doing slight exercise. Can't wait to hear from you or if anyone wants to buddy up, we can update each day 💪👍

I'm doing a meal replacement too but a different brand.
Got plan porridge oaks for breakfast with blueberries. Shake for lunch with an apple and a low calorie hello fresh for dinner
Loads of water. My wee is almost clear Confused
Done this for about 3 weeks. Down 6lb

@thebestbirtheraccordingtoDD well done. I just want to have limited food for now to give the gut time to rest lol. Are u exercising that may help the fat burn as well

I am using a different meal replacement system (Exante). Trying to be very strict 4/5 days a week and a bit easier for the remaining days. I am down almost a stone. I have several niggly health/joint problems at the moment which are stopping me exercising seriously but am managing 12-14ksteps on at least two days a week, and some Pilates/stretching each day.
Where I fail is that I work 2/3 night shifts a week and the temptation for toast at 4am, or a huge breakfast after shift is great ☹️
Starting wright 04/03 - 12st 13lb
Current weight 23/05 12st 1lb
Target weight ?Whoknowswhen 10st 3lb (puts me at BMI 24)

I have 5 days ahead when I should be able to stick to plan so I hope to be firmly into the 11s this time next week.

I started on the 17th, so nearly a week. I’m doing it as a bit of a mixture with either a shake for breakfast or I am weighing out cereal so it’s 200 calories and then a shake for lunch. I’ve also done some exercise every day or walked 10,000 steps.
I’m drinking more water too - I don’t drink nearly enough.

I used Slim Fast many, many years ago as a kick start and found the structure of it was good for me so I’m back to it having fallen in to very bad habits of big portion sizes / emotional eater. So I’m back on it whilst I get back on the wagon.

Should have said - No idea how much I weigh but it’s somewhere around far too much and I don’t know how much weight I have lost so far as I don’t have scales but my clothes are starting to fit a bit better and I am starting to feel a bit better too. Long way to go but it’s a start!

We mus remember to protect against the dreaded constipation on our meal replacements, so try to have some veg too. I have a meal replacement soup thingy for dinner so chuck some veg into that. Leftover cabbage and broccoli tonight to microwave with Exante ham and mushroom pasta. Oh the excitement.
But - 11st13 feels and looks better than 12st1.

@trulyunruly01 yea it's true. I normally put fruits in my one lol which helps plus plenty water. I'm gonna start putting spinach

@ILoveNigelTufnel well done. Yea scales don't always reflect weight list, clothes fitting better is the right way forward ✅

@may23 just off to the store to get unsweetened almond milk I've been using skim milk. I also put a handful of frozen fruit. Might put spinach at some point lol. I was thinking about egg but wants I start solid I won't stop lol.

Aren't they all just a guise to get posters to subscribe to your YouTube channel and engage in pro-ana disordered eating? Your threads are promoting disordered eating and 5 day fasts. There's nothing healthy in what you are doing. Your health is your business but encouraging others to follow in your footsteps and strive to fast as long as possible and consume ultra processed meal replacement shakes is irresponsible.

@may23 not sure how long I will go but plan is to do this for a bit and revert back to IF as it's not recommended or easy to sustain on just liquid. Just want the body and gut to rest from eating for a while lol. What bout you, what's your plan

@may23 😆 yea but even when I had ice cream today it was nothing exciting lol. Happy to be going back to the cleanse/diet tomorrow. I think my body was getting use to the healthier option
