Hi all. Just spotted the previous thread filled up so thought I’d start a new one quickly.

Manual aren't taking new people on, just been told. Not sure where to go to get the next dose for me which is the 0.5mg pen. Was healthexpress, they're not sure when stock will be available. I'll get some spare needles so I can get every last drop from the my 0.25g!
I'll check juniper

Am I right in thinking the 0.5 pen only holds four doses? No cheeky way to squeeze any more out?

I'm starting week 6 now. I've lost 7.4 kgs but only 0.5 kg this week. I'm a bit worried though as I took a GP prescription to the chemist and was told no stock, so they can't fill the prescription. I'm not sure if it is temporary or not. I've got the pen I'm on and one more but both 0.25 pens and I'm on 0.5 dose. Has anyone else been out of stock?

Reading all of these posts and getting very worried about supply issues. I am only on my first pen but don’t want to get to week 4 and realise everywhere is out of stock. But as I haven’t told my DH I also don’t want a second pen sitting in the fridge for 3 weeks and can’t really afford to get a second one right now. Urgh!

Did anyone manage to use a discount code for my juniper on the second month, i.e. used the FRIEND50 for first month and used anything second month? Bit stressed at the £195 cost and hoped to have used a discount code again. Don’t want to cancel the order as it is still showing as though it will be shipped and I know supply issues are difficult just now. Have lost 17lbs in 7 weeks so really want to continue.

I've just cancelled with manual as they told me I would be downgraded to 0.5 - I'm not happy doing that after 2 months on 1.0. That being said I've only lost a stone since start Feb so overall relatively dissatisfied given the cost. I've just signed up for one month with Juniper and will prob jump suppliers for a bit.

I think you'll be ok, its the 1.0mg pens they are struggling for supply of. That being said I didn't start mine for a while so all of my pens have ended up sat in the fridge for about 3 weeks from delivery before use, and there is nothing wrong with them - just in case that helps your concern.

I asked them and they said no, ostensibly due to supply issues. I just don't think its medically responsible to just drop a dose. They also offered me a totally different medication, so I've realised they are just after £££. Which means I can go elsewhere to save £££, as Manual are expensive.

They would only do that if someone was willing to pay for two 0.5mg pens

No all of these sites only allow you to use a discount code once, it’s why people keep swapping.

if you can get someone else to sign up using your name you can get a £50 shop voucher though which might help offset?

Thanks, thought it would be too good to be true to use again :) I’m too worried about not getting the next pen to leave juniper just now as it looks like they’ll despatch the next dose in a fortnight. I had started in quick meds and moved to juniper. I hope everyone has luck getting their next dose, it’s a stress when you’ve started it already.

@Springclean8 yes, had notification that Manual are keeping me on 0.5 for a second month rather than moving me up

I'm only just starting my 2nd pen tomorrow after getting 6 weeks of doses out of pen 1. I've had almost 0 side effects and weight loss has been slow. So slow that I would have not paid what i have paid had i known in advance.
That said, i am losing. And I'm the lowest weight I've been in at least 8 years so i am pleased with that.

If i can stay on 0.5 I'll happily take another pen. If i need to move up and cant get it i may well stop and wait and try again when supplies are better.

Right then, has anyone had any luck at all this week in getting hold of 1.0 pens?

I'm going to have to find somewhere for my next pen if I get one. I'm not prepared to pay the full £195 with myjuniper. It would be £50 less if someone got a code from me (and £50 less for them too) now they've reintroduced the referral scheme. But otherwise I'll be looking around for a new supplier for one more month.

Juniper has just gone up to £295 for 40 days (inject every 10 days rather than 7..)

What is their rationale for moving to a 10 day dosing? I've not seen that.

To take as much money as possible and ignore dosing guidelines because it’s off label. Totally unethical but then they were giving it to literally everyone.

Going off-piste with the dosing regime is crazy! As is that price.

@TheWayOfTheWorld where have you heard/read that? It's crazy. Some people struggle to go 7 days between doses so I don't know how they'd cope with 10 days.

Quick question. I am 10 weeks in, just took my 2nd dose today. I've had a couple of glasses of wine tonight (not had any issue previously) and have vomited all my dinner up! Has anyone had this or is it likely I have a little bug? Thanks
