Binge eating?

For the last 3 days i have eaten nothing but crap and so much you wouldn't believe
I have eaten to the point of my stomach hurting and feeling queasy.

So once again tomorrow will herald the arrival of yet another 'diet'

And repeat ,repeat,repeat.

I am not massively overweight or anything but always 'on a diet'

Why the feck do i do this?

OP posts:
Beauregard · 14/02/2008 23:49

Anyone with any experience ?

stuffitllama · 14/02/2008 23:53

note to self: don't buy on offer christmas fruitcake and open it when you don't have guests

Beauregard · 14/02/2008 23:54

maybe i have this?

OP posts:
stuffitllama · 14/02/2008 23:56

are you feeling really really seriously bad about it?

pelvic take care

went a bit bulimic this year never again

bandgeek · 14/02/2008 23:57

I do this, in fact I could have written the OP

I hate myself for it too. All I need to lose is half a stone, yet I binge eat for a few days, put on a couple of pounds then diet and lose a couple. Again and again and again.

I have no willpower!

stuffitllama · 14/02/2008 23:59

ouch self-hate

just makes it worse

Beauregard · 14/02/2008 23:59

I always feel bad about it and then vow to diet and restrict myself afterwards.

I feel like i am 9 months pregnant and full to burst.

When i had CBT the psychologist said i had "issues with food"

[ouch]

Good God, just read that link and have been nodding my head and agreeing with it all. I do have anxiety issues, maybe it is all related!

stuffitllama · 15/02/2008 00:02

if you're not massively overweight why do you diet?

Beauregard · 15/02/2008 00:03

I know it isn't normal to eat this much.

I'm not talking half a cake or half pack of buiscuits either.

OP posts:
Beauregard · 15/02/2008 00:04

I am a 12-14 and 6ft 2 but always want to feel a bit thinner iykwim.

OP posts:
stuffitllama · 15/02/2008 00:04

gtg darn it
i hope my question wasn't tactless but isn't it healthier to be over and content than continually stressed and fretting and up and downing

I guess this is something we all consider at some point.

stuffitllama · 15/02/2008 00:06

Isn't that a healthy weight range? i do know exactly what you mean. I deal with it by dieting for "occasions".

bandgeek · 15/02/2008 00:08

12-14 and 6'2 sound fine to me. I'm the same clothes size but 4 inches shorter. I know I'm not overweight but it is all the flab on my stomach I hate. I can practically feel my belly expand as I eat.

Beauregard · 15/02/2008 00:08

BMI on here says healthy

OP posts:
gomez · 15/02/2008 00:10

I am short and fat and do this lark as well. I can eat like a (fat) horse somedays but also eat feck all on others.

Was in a previous life fairly big 16/18 but keep at a 12 by this type of mad eating.

Beauregard · 15/02/2008 00:10

would love to be 10-12 though.

My baby belly flab makes me feel crap too.

OP posts:
gomez · 15/02/2008 00:12

But a size 10 one someone 6 2 would be horrendous, no?

stuffitllama · 15/02/2008 00:14

pelvic same as you, healthy bmi but still feel the extra

don't feel crap, it's not worth it

Beauregard · 15/02/2008 00:18

Gomez- I was a 10-12 when i was younger

Will try and be good tomorrow, lol.

Thanks all

must go up now as dd2 has started playing fun and games

Sorry Pelvic just re-read and I was horrendously rude. My apologies.

I am only 5' 2" and a size 12, my SIL was 5' 8" and a size 10 and didn't look that well. At Uni (first time around) I shared a flat with a gorgeous size 16 six-footer so I am jumping to conclusions. I am sorry. if I have offended.

Beauregard · 15/02/2008 00:26

No gomez not offended at all

OP posts:
gomez · 15/02/2008 00:28

Gosh I am pleased
