I came on this morning so I feel a bit better about being heavier than I should be. I am dieting VERY very strictly now though. I've made myself a packed lunch in the fridge to stop me getting ravenous and stuffing my face.

hi everyone. can i join in? even though i'm not going to ww or sw just want to exercise and stop eating so much chocolate and cheese!

took my 'before' photos this morning (le dodgy) and weighed and measured myself. i hafta lose three stone to get healthy. would love to lose four to get to pre-pregnancy skinnyness- especially as now i have a saggy belly to hide.

was afraid to join for ages in case i had no weightloss to report, but i have to bite the bullet. i'm sick to death of my weight.

all your losses look amazing, well done.

i've had my mixed fruit brekkie, and i've used my first exercise dvd. it was quite fun actually! i now feel initiated into the world of dieting.

looks like ppl weigh in on a tuesday so i'll hafta try my best this week and report back..

OOOOOOOH - Only had to lose 1lb this week to get my 10% off and have stayed the same. Am pretty annoyed at it so hoping will have the stamina to stick to it this week - Although v.pg sister came yesterday and had to treat her (and me) to a pizza hut. Have tried to up my exercise so dragged ds1 for a very realaxing (he screamed the whole way around) walk - must count as more points as he is very heavy!

Hello new losers to be - I think my biggests reason for losing is that I only buy cheese for the kids now. Used to get through tonnes of the stuff but haven't eaten any since starting this diet. Missed to begin with but don't even think about it now - just skip that area when shopping. I also think Fry light is fab - used to get through gallons of olive oil and tell myself it was healthy

loler you've lost so much already! and just think - you had your pizza and still stayed the same. you'll get to 10% next week.

oh god yes, olive oil is a terrible one of mine too.

feel like i've such a mountain to climb, it's not the hunger it's just pure habit. i only have put on the weight in the last three years though so in the great scheme of life i suppose the habits are not long-learned if i catch them now.

i have built a lot of time around food recently - food has become my treat, my energy-giver, my hobby and my boyfriend .

i hope i can do this!!!

my thighs are aching from the exercise video today .

tried nibbling on some 70% cocoa chocolate to satisfy sugar cravings for study. not satisfying which is great as i didn't even finish one square. i'm more of a cadbury's girl myself.

the key really is to have no treats in the house isn't it?

anyhoo, must get some sleep...

Mama, couldn't agree more! That old myth perpetuated by skinny women about keeping a few squares of 'Green and Blacks' in the fridge to quieten the sweet cravings is such a lie! Certainly doesn't work for me! It is a Crunchie or nothing!

I have grown to love green and blck (particularly the one with cherries in) but can eat a whole bar. Now summer is here have problems with resisting crisps and dips with a cider in the garden. vegs to dip just aren't the same and take longer to prepare!

Not if you use cucumber, carrot and celery sticks and they are lovely and guilt free. We've just had a lovely and easy peasy salad to make - sliced cucumber, tomato and celery with a squezre of lemon and a drizzle of oilive oil garnished with coriander with our barbie. It was simply wonderful. I resuisted the pudding and I had my tea with 1 sugar munching on some cereal instead of biscuits. Summer is a perfect time to have berries for snacking (I can't resist snackks )

I've been away for the weekend and breakfast and 3 course dinner was included

But, I dont care because I've done fucking well so fuck it. I did lots of walking and some swimming and I'll drop it again soon I reckon. A splurge is good for metabolism, apparently.......

Oh and VVQV I definitely think that varyign your calorie intake is good for getting past a plateau... Am in awe that you have lost 32.5lbs! Very inspiring... Are you doing ww? how long has it taken?

Doh - +1 - hasn't spurred me on really. just makes me want to eat chocolate. DH away for a week from tomorrow though so won't be having a huge meal in the evening and drinking cider in the garden on my own is a bit sad. Hopefully claw back 2lbs and get my 10% this week!

I have just got back form my wiegh in. I have stayed the same this week. Not to dissapointed but I am going to wear my pedometer next week and try and up my steps. I am going to invest in some workout D.V.Ds as I am never getting to the gym these days.
