Afternoon ladies. I lost 2lbs this week, but tbh, I haven't eaten properly due to the pain I am getting. Steering completely clear of any fat so am living on a virtually fat free diet. Feeling rough, but have a scan next Monday, so hoping that I can find out exactly what I am up against and then start dealing with it. Today I have no appetite at all, sounds great I know, but it is actually really hard when you just don't want to eat. Not something I have ever had to deal with before. Anyway, enough about me.....

Colditz, please please do not give up now. You have done so well, 23lbs is fantastic. You have lost the same as me, and I am loving the feeling of fitting into smaller clothes. Bought a top in Dorothy Perkins yesterday and had to swap the size 18 for a 16. Best feeling in the world! As others have said, put it down to a bad week, put it behind you, and start tracking again! It's the only way I can do it

Ags, it has just dawned on me that you have only been doing WW for 12 weeks and you have lost 37.5lbs! That is amazing!

Had my weigh in today and lost 1.5lbs. Very delighted.

Thanks Mammyjo, I am thrilled but I have a very long way to go. But it is so motivating to lose a lot quickly as it spurs me on. Sorry to hear you are still in pain. I hope the scan gives some sort of way forward for you. All my attacks last only hours, some a couple of hours and the longest for about 12 hours but afterwards I am pain free. Have a bit of a niggle today and hope I am not in for an all nighter! What pain killers are you using as none of the normal ones make a dent in mine.

I think my appetite has lessened. I seem to be full quicker, and don't want to eat as often.

We've got some whopping losses on this thread now!

Ags, the GP gave me co-codamol which does take the edge off, but today I got another attack and then they do very little. I just seem to have a constant grumbling pain all the time. Doctor told me that if it is an ongoing problem then surgery would be the way to go. That scares me, but having said that, I can't go on like this indefinitely either! Am just holding out for the scan and then will take it from there I guess!

Ags & Mammyjo - great losses that's brilliant. Something always better than nothing I think (please repeat this to me on Friday afternoon after this week's weigh in which will be disastrous)

VVVQ - trousers - lol - you should have just let them fall and then, sylph like, danced round the office telling everyone or maybe not?

I've not done brilliantly today, not exactly because I've eaten too much, but eaten only a little that wasn't very good. Many many smarties and not a lot else. Cooked DH bangers and mash for supper, had a bite, and then busied myself with the ironing. Pretty depressing all round, but I'd hate to put last weeks loss back on after my terrible weekend off the wagon.

22 stone - wow! seems no time since we were saying 6 stone was good!

banana - hello and well done on the 4.5lb. not much more until the 1/2 stone mark. Always feels better when you can talk in stones!

How is everyone doing? Good week/Bad week?

I am going ok this week. I still bless the day I found out about microwaved mushrooms from one of you ladies. It is revolutionary!

Bought a lovely coat the other day, size 20! Which is excellent for me. It is scarlet and I wore it to the dogs do I went to the other night. One of my friend's husbands who I hadn't seen in ages nearly fainted and said that I looked fabulous and I was wasting away! Oh what bliss! Me, wasting away! I wish!

. So the not really eating approach seems not to work then? At my weigh in today I stayed the same. boo hoo. 12.7 is a real nemesis weight for me, it is so hard to get past it.

Anyway - onward and upward. Magic microwave mushrooms might be the way forward. Must have a good weekend, because dd is 4 on Monday which means there will be lots of cake in the house, and if its there I WILL eat it.

The, a little bit of slimming world but not really sure, diet. Which basically means I don't eat very much except on Fridays when I get excited about eating after a weigh in.

I think I am going to go back to ww. I am in the right frame of mind to lose weight, so I just need to find a better timed ww class. And the SW leader is yawsless.

Perhaps you are not eating enough during the week then.Your metabolic rate is going down and into starvation mode and in turn will store fat.
I joined WW a couple of weeks ago. This is for the third time in a number of years.I am really gonna try and stick to it this time. I am going to do it.

Go on and go back to WW. I went to slimming world years ago and found it relly hard to control the portion sizes.

Banana - I think you're right. I deffo felt I was doing the wrong thing this week, not eating enough - but and this might be a stupid question - can I change that situation? So, if I've had a crap week last week not really eating, can I get my metabolism back on track?

I think I am going to ditch SW. I just don't really "get" it, and i completely understand ww, so I may as well change this week.

You can get it back by regular eating. Apparently,camels store fat in humps because they don't eat for days. The human body is the same. Once your body gets back on track you will be fine.

Hi all. Another rough week for me healthwise, with a really nasty cold and then d+v I am totally fed up with feeling rubbish and want to be well again!!

Anyway, weigh in for me tomorrow and I am sure of another loss as I haven't eaten properly and then got diarrhoea too - bleughh. Great for the weight loss, but I feel like pants!

Well done to all you continuing losers, will be back tomorrow or Tuesday to report! Oh, and lol at the camel talk!!!
