Thanks Colditz, sounds delish!

Agree it is very quiet at the moment. I am finding this week really hard. I seem to be starving and more tempted to eat rubbish than I have been so far. I have not succumbed so far but it is tough. I think I am now hitting real life dieting and not coasting along on the novelty anymore. I think I am lucky that it took 6 weeks to get to this point. Normally if I start a diet in the morning, I am over it at lunch time!

I had a pizza express margarita today for lunch and a huge breakfast so was left with very little points for dinner. Had two toasts with micro mushrooms and toms. Absolutely fine but really did not hit the spot. May have to get an early night to avoid any temptations. Still have shed loads of sweets and biscuits around from dd's birthday. Not good! I think it is becoming telepathic!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

fedda · 29/02/2008 22:20

Hi, everyone. I was trying hard to avoid the coffee shop and I did. I had quark for breakfast and some slices of cucumber, chese toasty with grapes, then some bluberries for lunch, bluberries, blackberries and grapes for snacks, coffee with 2 sugars, and salmon with home made french fries and peas for dinner, followed by tiny piece of cheese with celery and crackers and tea with 1 sugar. I'll have another cup of tea with crackers in 10 minutes or so. I think I eat more then i should and tha's why my weight stays higher then I need, I'd like to loose 3,5 kg.

chocolatespiders · 29/02/2008 22:23

does sound delish... even i think i could tackle that recipe...thankyou

VVV sorry to hear about your tears, i hope you are feeling better now... at least you didnt turn to food as i would have

VVV which of the ww cakes biscuits do you reccommend? do they feel like you are having something good?

Ags you have done great... keep going ... how many points in the pizza? sounds good...

VeniVidiVickiQV · 01/03/2008 02:57

Gah. Can't sleep.

Choccie - I have the ginger and lemon cookies, and, I quite like the almond slices (although they dont seem quite big enough ) and the carrot cake slices.

The thing I've found best though is the Sainsburys be good to yourself cereal bars - apricot, maple or apple and blackcurrant flavour. Really good.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 01/03/2008 23:35

Well, gone over on points today
but
I had 7 points saved up so not a huge deal
need to be good tomorrow though.
Weigh in tomorrow and I will report in.

Hi and welcome Lennygrrl. No, we weigh in on different days but most seem to be on Sunday/Monday. Doesn't matter when you do it, we just post our losses on the list.

Hope everyone is having a nice Mother's Day. I got one roses chocolate in a box from my ds that he made at nursery. Very diet friendly! I would have loved a whole box but one is perfect!

Wishing you all good weigh ins for the coming days!

mammyjo · 02/03/2008 15:03

Hi all. Welcome lennygrrl and S+S

Due to weigh in tomorrow but have had a rubbish week. I seem to be one good then one bad at the moment, cant quite get myself back on track. Still, I am a stone lighter than I was before Christmas so that has to be a good thing

fedda · 02/03/2008 17:07

I'll be back on a diet tomorrow but today I'm not thinking about it. It's Mother's day and it's Sunday - my two excuses to have whatever I want no matter what. And no negative thoughts that tomorrow I wouldn't say thank you for it, tomorrow is another day, it's Monday, DH is at work, kids are at school and I'll go back to my soups. I'll probably weigh myself tomorrow but I'll keep it quite and weigh myself on Wednesday and see what happens.

Ags · 02/03/2008 17:44

Fedda, go for it girl! Enjoy yourself and have a great day.

Mammyjo, good luck tomorrow.

Welcome lenny

Well, I was given butter fudges, and a box of thorntons premium truffles. I've just scoffed them all , although DH very kindly helped me so only half of them really

I've gone 8 points over today, but, I'm not fussed.

I weighed earlier, and despite having a bad week, I've lost 1/2lb so not too dreadful!!!

Well done VVV! And very about those sweets! Love fudge!

My lovely supportive dh (he was in awe because he felt my hip bones during a bonk the other night!) made me a fabulous dinner. Mussels in a Thai broth for starter (2.5 points), Fillet steak, king prawns and scallops with a red and yellow pepper tagliatelle (he fancies himself as the next Masterchef) (only 8 points). And best of all, we both now have very dodgy tums and are chasing eachother to the loo! Heres hoping it will be reflecte in the scales tomorrow! Am I completely sad for being welcoming to the squits?! Don't tell me, I know the answer.

Well that just serves me right, +2 Totally of my own doing since I have been eating absolute rubbish for the last couple of weeks, hence my absence from this thread So today IS the re-start of my diet. If I really want to lose weight, which I do, this is the only way. Please feel free to give me a swift kick up my large behind

I think I may start with ww points properly this time. At least then i'll have some kind of guide. Although my 3 meals a day was going ok Oh I don't knowConfused

I just want to lose weight damn it. Can I really not keep eating chocolate

Welsome to all the newbies to the thread

Hi, girls. I went to coffee shop as i couldn't resist a cup of hazelnut late with biscuits, I put on 1 kg since yesterday so I needed some treat not to cry on everybody's shoulder.I'm cooking vegie soup now for lunch. I'm back on soups for lunches up to Friday, let's see what happens.

Weight watchers do cheesy puffs that are only 1 point and they aren't bad. I am starting my classes on the 12th so until then it's going to be hard work as I have no books to go by.

Hope you all had a lovely mothers day.

Eddas · 03/03/2008 13:47

I didn't eat them Lenny, yes you can have them but if I eat them i'll just eat rubbish for the whole day so am trying to steer clear

VeniVidiVickiQV · 03/03/2008 17:52

Ooops. I've just entered my weight online and it seems I miscalculated

I've actually lost 1.1lb
