welcome back to previous posters, and welcome to those who are new or interested.

a few of us have been on Ozempic with a range of experiences for a few months now, so if you’re interested in how it goes in the early days, the earlier threads might be a good place to start.

I’ve been on it for about 6 months now and have lost around 20lbs. It has been effortless. I used to be ravenously hungry all the time, and now I’m not. I had very mild side effects at first (just some nausea), but none now.

most of us have referral codes for various providers, so if you are starting, do ask on the thread and someone will PM you.

Some chemists are designated "sharps" collections , give them a call and they will advise.

I have spent the last few weeks reading all the threads and doing some research into Ozempic. I placed my order last night.

I just wanted to say thank you to @Peridot1 and @Twiglets1 (and others) for the informative and useful information that you have provided throughout the threads

Has anyone ordered from Quick Meds this week? I ordered a new pen from them Wednesday morning and have ordered from them before, it was approved same day but its still not showing as dispatched on my account. Have tried contacting them via WhatsApp, response yesterday suggested it was likely to go out yesterday but my account is still showing as Approved. No response to today's WhatsApp or contact form via their website and their phone line is constantly engaged. I've not heard any negative feedback about them in the past and my previous order came the following day so am surprised of no update from them. I'm not due my next dose until Weds so hopefully will get in time, but guessing I won't get until next week now, hopefully in time.

End of week 1 tomorrow and I've nearly lost 4lb which I'm happy enough with

No issues with my gallbladder etc 🥳 Dr gave me a good once over and was really positive about Ozempic, which was great/reassuring. I felt like a naughty schoolgirl telling him I’d bought it privately but he was very understanding.

Still feel sick though 🤢

Well done @FfeminyddCymraeg for going to see your doctor. It won't have been easy telling him you'd purchased ozempic privately. Glad he was supportive

@FfeminyddCymraeg, good you got all clear. Now you have peace of mind going forwards.

Just thought I would check in. I’m on my 3rd dose and still feeling horribly sick, but am happy with my loss of 7lbs so far. We are going on holiday tomorrow and I’ve decided not to take it while we are away. For the sickness rather than anything else, but I’ve been consistently eating off the kids menu or 2 starters, and I hope to continue that while we are away even without the ozempic.

Has anyone found anyway to alleviate the sickness at all? I’m only on 0.25 so it’s not as if I’m caning the dosage either!

That’s good to hear @FfeminyddCymraeg. although it’s rubbish you are still feeling sick.

@RebelGeek76 - yes I ordered from Quick Meds and received my order really quickly. It was first time I used them too.

Sorry if I'm being thick but how do you put the needles into that tiny "travel size" sharps bin some sellers provide?

the only think making me anxious about this is the nausea. How bad is it?

I had terrible morning sickness and was really distressed because of it and am scared to go there again.

@LittleDitto, the thing is not everyone feels sick. I had my first 0.25 dose on Wednesday morning and I've not felt sick at all. We don't know why some feel sick and others don't. You just have to hope you're one of the lucky ones that don't feel sick.

1st4 down, just over 8 weeks since I started. I'm under 13st for the first time in a long time and I'm starting to see my real face for the first time too. It's amazing how good that's making me feel 👍

I spoke with manual about the sickness and diarrhea. They said I can take imodium and anti sickness tablets when needed. I've ordered some buccastem from boots. You can buy it over the counter at any pharmacy though. I've had it before for migraines and also I was prescribed it in pregnancy for sickness

It’s funny the way it affects us all so differently. I’ve had a few moments of nausea but not often. And usually when I needed to eat something.

I had that with my first 2 doses. But has my 4th dose Thursday evening and I've spent since Friday evening in bed, throwing up and diarrhea. I need to get up but I'm scared to :-( I'll have some small breakfast and hope for the best!

I was the same, I had awful morning sickness, but luckily so far I haven't had nausea or sickness. I'm 2 weeks in on 0.25.

Quite a few people seem to get mild nausea but there are the unfortunate few where the nausea is severe enough to throw up. And there is not much we can do once it has started but rest as much as possible and eat small portions of bland food, once our stomach has settled.

Is that your 4th 0.25 dose or have you gone up to 0.5?

Someone posted about the half life of the drug in your system being 7 days and I'll find it interesting to work out how much that means is in my system as the weeks progress.

It's my 4th 0.25. I am usually quite sensitive to medications so I can't say I'm surprised. I might have to stop the injections.
