Restarting one2one diet (Cambridge)

43 replies

ForeverMessy456 · 05/02/2023 08:23

Looking for anyone else who has just restarted or looking to restart the Cambridge one2one diet.

I did the plan 3-4 years ago now and lost around 3.5 stone in 4 months.

After having my son I've put all the weight plus more I think back on.

I'm restarting the diet this week and looking for some buddies for support.

Hello, I’d like a loss weight buddy too, Maybe we can be weightloss buddies

ForeverMessy456 · 18/02/2023 07:47

@Losingweight sounds good ! What plan are you following ?

I am not restarting, but I will be starting the 1.1 diet this week. I spoke to the 1.1 consultant and decided to go for step 3. Just waiting for all meal plan to arrive.

I have around 5 stone to lose and really hoping this works.

It will be good to have some weight loss buddies for support.

ForeverMessy456 · 18/02/2023 14:02

That's great! Deciding to start is definitely the first hurdle.

Is step 3 meal replacements plus meals?

I've only ever done step 1A removes the temptation of food altogether I find.

I'm on week 2- weigh in on Monday. Last week I lost 5lb but was a bit gutted as last time I lost 9lb my first week so I know i can do more.

Hoping for 4lb this week

Hi. Can I join you please? Starting Monday after many false starts and need some motivation and buddies.

I'm going to go for 4 products a day.

CampervanKween · 20/02/2023 08:02

Weighing in at 12 stone this morning. 168lbs. Aiming for 155 lbs. Let's do this 💪

ForeverMessy456 · 20/02/2023 12:33

@CampervanKween woo woo sounds good.

I'm a bit gutted if I'm honest. I only lost 2lbs this week and was hoping for 3-4.

The first time I did this diet I lost a stone in the first 2 weeks (I know most of this was probably mainly water) however this time it's not coming off as quickly. I'm sticking to plan.

My consultation thinks maybe I'm not eating enough but I'm not convinced. Going to try all shakes next week and see How that goes.

7lb down in total

CampervanKween · 20/02/2023 14:39

How many packets a day are you having? I've had breakfast smoothie, veg soup for lunch. Thinking of having sweet chilli noodles for tea then maybe a porridge for supper.

ForeverMessy456 · 20/02/2023 17:47

@CampervanKween

Having 3 products a day plus copious amounts of water !! 2.25 litres at least.

I don't like any of the savoury stuff and very limited number of bars.

I usually just live on shakes

My consultant thinks I may not be eating enough

CampervanKween · 20/02/2023 19:06

Sounds like it. I'm doing 4 and lots of cups of tea. Water will come when it's warmer.

Londonnight · 23/02/2023 15:50

All my stuff arrived this morning, along with the book. I would have liked a bit more information alongside it. My consultant said I would be doing step 3. So two one2one meal plans a day, plus a healthy meal. There is no information really as to what this could be. It does give green, amber and red for food groups, but it doesn't say how many calories the actual meal should be.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a decent cookery book which supports the one2one diet on plan 3?

I am really hoping for good things with this plan. I desperately need to lose weight.

CampervanKween · 23/02/2023 20:34

I was told just to have protein and a small amount of veg as my meal. Around 400 calories I think.

ForeverMessy456 · 02/03/2023 05:56

@Losingweight @Londonnight @CampervanKween

How did everyone get on this week?

I lost another 5lb 🎉🍾🎊 ! 12lbs off in total in 3 weeks.

Hoping for the stone next week.

Is anyone still following this plan? I’m hoping to start in the next week, have just emailed a local consultant.

ForeverMessy456 · 07/03/2023 14:45

@ringofrosies

I am!

I'm on week 4 of the plan and 1 stone lost.

Struggled a bit last week with fatigue but I also wasn't drinking all my water. Hoping to get back on track this week.

Still had a 2lb loss.

2 stone to to

Well done, that’s fab and that’s what I like about it - results you can see quickly, keeps me focused. I’ve done the plan before and kept the weight off for a good four years (including after having a baby) but lockdown, stress, you name it and put loads back on. I know it can be hard at times but I know it works for me.

ForeverMessy456 · 07/03/2023 18:15

@ringofrosies I'm the same. I know it works for me so I just need to stick it out.

OP posts:
ringofrosies · 07/03/2023 18:57

I find once I get the first week out of the way that’s it. And really start to notice a difference in my skin (all that bloody water we’ve to drink!) and even my teeth feel healthier, not to mention my mood lifting.

Adele2341 · 08/03/2023 20:57

Hey all! On I’m week 2! I lose 7.6lbs on my first week. How long is everyone planning on sticking at step1 before moving up the steps?

Londonnight · 09/03/2023 08:02

I lost 8lb in my first week😁so very happy with that.
I am now well into my second week and it is going well. I have surprised myself at how well I have stuck to it! I am drinking HUGE amounts of water, which obviously help with any hunger, though has the side effect of constantly needing to wee.
I am still a long way to go, so hoping to stick with it for as long as I can.

@ForeverMessy456 your weight loss is brilliant, well done!

ForeverMessy456 · 09/03/2023 18:14

@Adele2341 in going to do it another 6 weeks then I'm going away for the weekend so will come off plan for that then go back onto step1a to get my final weight off.

You only need to step up 1 week and you can step back down again

ForeverMessy456 · 09/03/2023 18:15

@Londonnight amazing loss in week one !

ringofrosies · 12/03/2023 19:24

So I’m at the end of day two now. Today has definitely been easier than yesterday. Last night I was in such a bad mood with it all I went to bed early as I couldn’t get food out of my head! Sore head too which seems to have disappeared today. How is everyone else getting on?

Greenthread · 12/03/2023 19:36

Hi! Can I join this thread? I did CWP a few years ago and lost 3 stone in about 4 months. I felt great. Yes it was a struggle at first but i found it really freeing, not thinking about what I could or couldn’t eat all the time. I think no alcohol and no sugar made a big difference to my mood too. Lockdowns and various life problems have meant the weight has all gone back on recently so I have decided to do CWP again. I’ve been in touch with my previous consultant and will be seeing her one day this week.
