Ive tried joining weight loss threads in the past but I always fall off, due to being too busy, getting behind and then feeling like I can’t just post all my crap without keeping up with everyone else’s lives.

So I’m going to be accountable here to myself/any others who join. If you literally just post your daily menu or whatever and then disappear without so much as a by-your-leave, I certainly won’t be the one to judge!

I have 12lbs to lose and I’m the fattest I’ve ever been. I’ve just come in from work and eaten absolutely loads, it’s no mystery as to why I’m getting fatter each day I’m just too bloody greedy.

I’m going to try intermittent fasting and calorie counting. 1400 a day in an 8 hour window. I’ll post my takings each day and I absolutely HAVE to do it this time or I’ll run out of clothes that fit.

It begins now! 💪💪💪💪

@Taq Yeah I think it was that one. I’ve had a terrible start to the year diet wise and have put on 4lbs since January 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 I started a new job right after Christmas and everything else went out of the window. Starting again now that things have settled down a bit, aiming for 1lb a week if I can

Hi peeps - I have weighed in early as in this morning, because my jeans felt loose yesterday.

10 stone 9 lbs!! This is like a big 'yay' for me - and represents a 4 lbs loss since last Friday. Starting weight was 11 stone but the first week only lost 1 lbs despite being VERY strict. I have added in 2 x fast days AKA 5/2 diet as things were not moving for 2 full weeks....

Stay on it ..... I'm aiming for less than 10 stone.

Ive logged 1250 calories today, 1350 yesterday, 1400 Monday. Step count has been really low as barely moved but should hopefully still be in deficit 🤔

I realised on Monday that not a single fruit or veg passed my lips potatoes don't count do they so the focus has been fruit and veg and yesterday and today has been much improved.

Vitamin regime going OK, still reading and tweaking things. Have Vit B complex coming to add in too - a spray, because I feel like I'm rattling Grin

I've pretty much maintained this week, not ideal but better than an increase. Perimenopause is hitting me like a truck recently, I seem to have a week of period, a week of ovulation, a week of recovering and then it starts again. I've zero energy to make myself do hard exercise, but the effort of a hard workout is great for curbing my appetite and sleeping better so it's all just a really frustrating cycle.

Anyway, happy weekend everyone.

I've got over the period munchies, got a sore back which is now improving and a sore throat started this morning - great stuff!

On the plus side, I've seriously upped the fruit and veg and the vitamin regime is going well.

Hello all - early start today as about to go to work - weigh in 10 stone 9 - exactly the same as last Friday.

Are you seeing a theme here?!?

Onwards and upwards - this is when temptation strikes for me - ie about 3 to 4 weeks in, but I'm still wanting to get under 10 stone,

Had appointment this week, and have been referred to orthopaedic surgeon for knee problems. Not fun.

Finally below 81kg! Was starting to wonder if I'd ever lose another ounce. Mind you, I've massive period bloat. Away for the weekend with dh so there's a good chance I'll put it all back on Blush

I'm taking every week I don't actively gain as a win, MrsD! Hopefully next week will be better for you.

Hi, I haven't been on the scales this year for sure... also waiting for period bloat to go and then I might find batteries and see.

I think it's a win @MrsDoyle351 - have you managed to change any habits for the better?

Mainly eating in an 8 hour window which includes a 3 hour fast in the middle of that to get my tablets in on an empty stomach. Not really seeing the benefits of the vitamin regime yet in fact I feel like death but guessing it's going to take a while.

Making sure to eat fruit and veg and drinking enough.

Well this is exactly my kind of weight loss thread!

I am terrible at keeping up with threads.

I have quite a bit to lose. 223lb at 5"2 is not good at all!

Aiming to just get down to 200 first of all

I'll be calorie counting and upping my steps. We have a new baby so fingers crossed for mild weather to take him out on daily walks in the pram.

I started technically last Monday but mostly just spent this past week trying to cut back on the amount of sweets I eat 😬

I'm struggling to keep up with this thread let alone lose any weight 😁
I've had a terrible light bulb moment this morning.
Thought I only had about 7lbs to lose, plus tone up and find my muscles which are lurking under my blubber.
I've been constantly losing and gaining a kg, almost daily.
Googled converting 63.1kg (today's weight), into stone. Came up 9stone 9.
Bit heavier than I thought.
Changed it to kgs/into stones and pounds, and it's 9.13.
So I've gained a stone (which mostly seems to be on my thighs), lost all my fitness, all my muscle tone.
Fresh start today, planning is key!
OH had last week off work, he's done most of the cooking, which never includes vegetables except potatoes and beans 😅 and I'm feeling really sluggish.

Last weekend was lovely but an absolute wrecking ball for my weight loss! I had been reasonably restrained with food (picked delicious but lighter options) but went a bit mad on the wine 🫣 I thought I'd killed any chance for this week, but had a pleasant surprise this morning, down 0.7kg!

Hope everyone is still fighting the good fight.

I'm old school and still think in imperial measurements, but got to the point I couldn't read my old scales even with my glasses on.

I was raised on kg, so that's what I go by.

Batteries on my shopping list for tomorrow so I can see how I'm doing. Keeping up the vitamin regime but definitely not feeling any benefit yet. Saw an article in the papers that fasting is bad for your immune system and increases inflammation - not what I want to hear! Been a bit on and off with sticking to my fasting window due to being exhausted/poorly - just want to eat all the carbs in the world!

Well I did get on the scales and I'm about 1 1/2kg lighter than the last time I got on the scales Shock but my BMI is just about 26 so could do with improvement still.... however I've been eating and eating and eating this week. I'm so tired that I think my body just wants sugar/carbs to try and push through.

How's everyone else getting on?

Annoyingly, no change since last week. Then again, work has been nuts and I have been maxed out on stress hormones so no real surprise I suppose. Back on the horse next week.

I'd love a bmi of 26, Partners Blush 1.5kg loss is great, well done.

10 stone 7 this morning. So that is 7 lbs down.

I'd like to join please just to give me some accountability. I started cutting back mid-jan but have no idea how much i weighed then as I was scared to get on the scales!

Ive been trying to stick to 1200 cals a day with a couple of treats at the weekend, drink lots of water, don't eat after 7pm or before 12 the next day (I never eat breakfast anyway) and also cook SW recipes as I find them easy to do and they're low in fat. So quite a few things thrown into the mix there!

I first weighed about mid-feb and was 11.12, then weighed on Friday before last and was 11.9 (I'm going to weigh fortnightly on Fridays) so we'll see what this Friday brings.

Im 5"8 and started with an overweight BMI and I'm now in the healthy category so that's good but I would like to get to about 10.6 as quickly as possible 😂

So far today I've had

BF: nada
lunch: Greek salad with 3 slices lean ham and low fat feta (300)
drinks: 3 coffees and 2 teas with splash skimmed milk, water (100 ish?)
tea: will be spag Bol made the SW way with a small jacket potato (600)
snacks: low-fat yoghurt and fruit (150)
