Is she asleep, Katy? i know how difficult it can be and how tiresome when kids don't sleep well. Do you have a ritual of going to bed? my DS loves his bath, then we brush his teath, he gets into pijamas and listens to the night time story. Then give him a kiss, coudle him, he gives me a kiss and cuddles me and I say good night, sleep tight. See you tomorrow. He says good night, see you tomorrow and I close his door. Sometimes it takes a while to persuade him that i need to go as he wants me to stay longer, he gets a little quite time but not too long as he only gets more into playing and jumping mood. He sleeps with his teddy and he has a comfort blunket he holds onto. my older DS when he was little absolutely loved sleeping with my skirt, he actually ruined it as he was sacking it and pulling it in the night time. Does your DD have anyspecial thing which might help her sleep? I liked the idea in one programme when they put a special fairy light - very little light which kept the room just slightly less dark and they said to the girl if she sleeps the whole night fairy will give her a treat. you could have some little book or spmething you think will make her happy in the morning. Anyway, good luck, Katy. I promise I will try to be less harder to myself.

katylessbumpy · 16/02/2008 22:15

shes playing on the floor!
it's not her going to bed thats the problem it's the staying asleep.

when i put her to bed i spend all night running up and down stairs resettling her.it's great for the figure

ds1 was a great sleeper,ds2 was a bugger.i know it won't last forever lol

i'm pleased your going to be less hard on yourself fedda.

Thank you, Katy. I agree, it's good for the figure but I'd be soooooo tired. I feel for you.
