Anyone in the same position and wants to journey together?

I'm attending a wedding on the 7/8 and need to lose at least a stone to fit into the dress I'm planning on wearing and not feel like a blob 😬 would be good to get dressed on the morning and actually feel confident in myself.

Not entirely sure how I'm going to lose it yet - will definitely increase my exercise and am going to work on my diet. Will get weighed in the morning and check back in again 🙂

I’ve found it easier to make smaller changes, like at the moment I’m just making sure I drink at least 2l water a day - every day. It’s something easily in my control and is really becoming natural habit to fill my big bottle before work every morning

i follow a fab woman on insta who says just to ask ‘what would a fit and healthy person do right now?’ And just fake it but it seems to work for me haha

I wouldn’t weigh every few days. Stick with one day a week -

I appreciate the comment but every few days works for me Smile if I weigh on a Sunday, I'm less likely to fall off the wagon on Tuesday if I know I'm getting weighed again on Wed/Thurs rather than waiting until the following Sunday 🤷🏼‍♀️

Will see what my next loss (🤞🏻) is and if I'm down 2lb overall then I'll continue what I've done this last week or so. I'm managing to do a fair amount of exercise and not eating those calories back. And I do feel better for moving more!

I've lost another half a pound which I'm happy with, it's nice to see the scales heading in the right direction 😁
The weather is gorgeous here so I'm planning on doing lots of walking this week, and will do a HIIT/functional strength workout every night in the house too, hopefully that'll will mean a good loss next time 🤞🏻

Hope you're all doing well!

I had an expected gain after a girly trip to Henley and Ascot last week and a fathers day meal out....but I'm back on it. I'm back to proper exercising, as my London Marathon training plan has started again (third time lucky I hope!)

Well done to those who have lost... or are at least having better days.

Just weighed this morning and have lost 1lb since Tuesday, total of 2.8lbs to far.

I'm disappointed it's not quicker but just happy to be decreasing tbh! Think I'll have a look for some new meal ideas today, high protein so they'll be nice and filling.

Yeah, look at some more ideas , menu wise.
You can do it!

I’m still here! Had an unexpected week last week with something cropping up with work so no time to do much or to log in but overall I've lost 1.5kg. Hardly groundbreaking but a start!
my breakfast and lunches are really quite healthy now but I’ve let the mid afternoon kitkat or biscuits sneak in again.
back on it tomorrow.
