Morning all

Today’s plan: outline the meals I want to eat on the app.

Eat those meals (well planned, balanced, decided when my head was calm and I’m making rational decisions)

Step away from anything that isn’t on the plan. Last night I ate three hot cross buns for literally no reason: I wasn’t hungry. I didn’t want them even as I was eating them. If that happens again (the temptation to eat off plan) I’m going to intervene with myself and Just Not!!

Morning all, I have decided that I can not be trusted to go to the supermarket so have done an online shop to come today.

I've haven't ordered anything bad so I won't have the temptation in the house.

I have no kids at home now so I don't need to get a load of junk on the pretence that it is for them.

@chanceux - agree with not having stuff in the house. At least if I have to walk to the shop to get it it’s less likely to be a temptation! I also can’t be trusted with large bags of anything like crisps or popcorn.

I also can't have stuff in the house, I seriously lack willpower so if it's there, I eat it. That said I've had a good day today and feeling good so will aim to try to feel this way at the end of tomorrow too....

B - green smoothie
L - vegetable pizza slice and grapes
D - brown rice, broccoli and spring onion stir fry

A skinny latte and a couple of mugs of tea. Tracking at 900 cals today on MFP so will have a snack of something this evening.

I'm hoping this will help me - I've just been prescribed testosterone as I have very low levels. I know this can affect muscle mass, appetite, and weight so fingers crossed!

Meanwhile today I'm starving so about to load up with protein for lunch - smoked salmon, egg, sauerkraut and beetroot

@chanceux thank you! Yesterday was good then today (again in typical fashion) was less good! Calorie-wise inputting into MFP I'm still ok at around 1400 but it's been made up of shite.....

B - a latte
L - instant mashed potato with gravy (have hardly anything in the house!)
D - beans on toast
S - triple chocolate cookie

So other than the beans on toast practically nothing of any nutritional value and nothing fresh. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!

Morning all I've been quite good really at trying to cut carbs drastically. We were out last night for dinner with 2 of our DD's. I had chicken supreme and vegetables and gave the starter and dessert a swerve. There were new potatoes on the plate but I only ate one of those so that was O.K. I had disgraced myself earlier in the day with a hot cross bun so that wasn't good.
Today I'm just going to try to keep away from the bread bin and the biscuit tin! I've made some pots of sugar free jelly with fresh raspberries in so if I want something sweet I shall have one of those instead of attacking the carbs.
Hope everyone else is getting on alright.

Well done @recklessgran with last nights dinner. That couldn't have been easy passing on starters and desserts. That would have made up for the hot cross bun.

I started this a week ago tomorrow so hopefully I will see a loss on the scales. I have been surprisingly good for me. It has really helped getting my food shopping delivered, there has been nothing in the house to tempt me.

Another bonus is how cheap the food bill is without all the chocolate, biscuits, and cake.

I had almost a complete week of blue dots (when you’ve stayed in your points budget on ww) apart from one day when I went a bit over and I stayed exactly the same weight a as last week. Really disappointed Sad

I haven't even weighed myself as I know it'll depress me Grin! I will weigh myself at the weekend though as I need to face reality.

Today is day 3 of sticking to my calorie goals.

B - skinny latte
L - fat free yoghurt, granola and maple syrup
D - prawn salad sandwich (a big one!)
S - two rice cakes and some grapes

Do you mind updating with how the testosterone goes Leftbutcameback? I'm speaking to a GP next week about starting HRT (Was supposed to be today, but that's another story...).

(I try and remember there are plenty of people out there that will do that for you anyway so might as well be nice to yourself and not join in with them.) Flowers
What about taking it 7lbs at a time DesertStorms? I understand about it taking so long! I could easily put a couple of pounds on in a day but would take me a week plus to lose it! If only dieting was in reverse, we'll say I'll lose X amount of stones, lose the weight, then diet. I think that's a good system. Grin

Can I join plse?
I need to lose a stone and a half. I was doing really well with my eating and the gym and doing it. I then fell off the wagon. Other things making me depressed. I've stress eaten.
I'm only wearing elastic waisted clothes too. Summer will be here before I know it. Then I will be depressed if I can't get into my nice summer clothes. It starts tomorrow for me. I will focus on my summer wardrobe when I want to gorge on crap. Tonight I'm in bed at 7pm with ibs pains from all the bread I've eaten today. Today is the final day. First stone off by end of May (I've got a holiday soon and dieting will be hard during that)

I'm also not telling anyone I'm on it. I want people to notice without knowing. I'm actually fed up with eating/scoffing. I usually only scoff through boredom/work stress. I need to control myself. Being bigger than I usually am is making me so depressed and really getting me down. I'm actually not socialising because of it. Im also going away later this year with a group. One of the of the girls is v slim. I have been like that before and if I can't get into my bikini then I'll be so upset and down

Evening all. I've been behaving today and have stuck to low carb. Bacon and egg for lunch and sausages, buttered leeks, brussels sprouts and peas for dinner followed by sugar free jelly and raspberries. Too many black coffees. I'm not calorie counting at the moment but just trying to stick to keto and 18:6 for the time being while my body gets in to ketosis. This might take a few days if I fall off the wagon again. Blinking hot cross buns - I wish DD or DH would hurry up and eat the bastards thereby removing temptation! Concentrating on one day at a time. Welcome @maccheeseandpeas I too am using a forthcoming holiday for motivation. @chanceux I'm excited to hear how you get on tomorrow at your weigh in. My weigh day will be Sunday - I'm not expecting great things but for now any loss will do as at least it will be going in the right direction. @Sutra really sorry you're downhearted but do keep going - could it be your cycle - I used to gain about 5 lbs the week before my period?

I'll join. After zig zaggging between different things I am going for 1lb a week which would be 4 stone in a year. I've been trying to do this forever. Ideally 4 to lose, as I am v short, but 3 would be acceptable at this point. Just doing MFP and keeping around 1400 cals a day so not too taxing but enough to lose 1lb a week. it feels v slow but if I end up in the right place, better that than failing again at the 800cals a day type thing.

Thanks @recklessgran I know that I've only lost water weight but it has put me into the 11 stone range which is better than over 12 stone.

@chanceux great work. Im feeling positive today. Day 1 (again and for about the 99999th time). Its now or never as summer is soon gong to be here. Weighed myself and lost 3 lbs but I had just had the biggest poo known to man lol
