I am not joining any clubs but will be loosely following WW.

Need to cut out the alcohol, crisps, cheese and chocolate (not totally) .

I would love some company. Will try to log on everyday to keep up with anyone who joins me but I do work full time so please dont be cross if I dont reply quickly!!!

I am really down right now about the way I look and would love to share my joys/lows with others - speak soon x

Yay Fio, Mammyjo, Ags and everyone!

I've just had THE most delicious lunch.

4 falafel, heated and cut in half
Huge handful of peppery wild rocket
Couple of heaped teaspoons of fat free fromage frais
All stuffed into a white pitta.

I feel fit to burst!!!!

Have had 2 oranges and a banana as well today.

I also had a bit of a "yay" moment at work today. For quite some time (probably many months ), every time I got up from my desk chair at work I've had to pull down my trouser legs because they were bunching on my thighs.

Today - they are unbunching themselves when I stand up YAY!

Eddas · 22/01/2008 12:35

Well done everyone, great losses

I must drink more water. I just don't drink enough and it's starting to give me headaches, just little ones, but they are not drinking enough ones! I'm ok when i'm at work but I seem to forget when i'm at home

mammyjo · 22/01/2008 13:04

Hooray for the unbunching trousers!!
Seriously though, I know what you mean!!

Eddas, I never drink enough either and also end up with headaches. I have got myself a pint glass and I really try to manage to drink 4 of them each day (filled with water/squash as opposed to beer!).

I have myself a pint glass of water that I keep topped up, and in line of sight to remind me to drink it!

VVVQV · 22/01/2008 13:11

Oh, and also, if I feel hungry, I'll drink a glass of water first, and then see how I feel after a few minutes. Usually I forget I was hungry.........

VVVQV · 22/01/2008 13:14

Admittedly, having cystitis and a kidney infection is a good prompt to drink lots of water.....

VVVQV · 22/01/2008 13:27

Goodness! Have I sent you all to sleep with my water wittering?

Or are you all off drinking a glass of water???

Actually - I could be water monitor!!!!

magsi · 22/01/2008 13:27

O.k, I have hopped over here, can I join in you lot?

colditz · 22/01/2008 13:34

i don't see why not magsi.

I lost 1/2 a pound! Which is not really much less than I expected - especially in light of last week. still a bit about it though. Oh well, I will keep going, and will see what happens

Sure you can. Welcome

VVVQV · 22/01/2008 13:37

A loss is a loss colditz. You havent gained or anything.

If your AF is due you might be retaining water too.

Perhaps switch to the Core Plan for a week? You are allowed to swap weeks from Points to Core.

magsi · 22/01/2008 13:38

Ta. I know its cliche, but I will start (for the 1,000.000 time) tomorrow properly this time. I will record my progress on here and start by cutting up my Evans storecard

colditz · 22/01/2008 13:49

I will stick with points until March, and see how I do with that. And you are right, I haven't piled on the 5.5 pound I lost last week, which in itself it good.

mammyjo · 22/01/2008 13:56

Welcome magsi

Well done colditz. As was said previously, at least it was a loss. Dont get disheartened, you can do it!!!!!!

Oh howl but I've been so good, I've not gone over my points once wahhhhh!

I am going to stick to it. The fat belly is not GOING TO win.

VVVQV · 22/01/2008 14:57

Colditz, maybe a little of what you fancy will do you good?

EVERYONE - have a glass of water

colditz · 22/01/2008 15:15

lol!!!

Ags · 22/01/2008 15:21

Hey Magsi, welcome.

Colditz, Boo! Hate when that happens. Is AF due? Could be the cause and next week will drop more than you might expect.

Eddas · 22/01/2008 15:42

Glad i'm not alone in my non-drinkingI need something to make me drink, only water mind, can manage to drink tons of vodka and coke. Only when needs must though

Right off to get some now!

Colditz, as the others said a loss is a loss, well done.

colditz · 22/01/2008 16:09

No, AF not due for 2 weeks, maybe I'm eating too much vegetation? I dunno. I'll see how it goes until March, and if I'm still crawling along I'll try the core.
