Evening ladies,

Today has been a mixed bag

B=Cereal bar, orange juice
S=Blueberry muffin (homemade-does that make it better? No. Thought not)
L=1/2 point vegie and lentil soup, clemmentine
S=1/2 a pancake- DD's wanted them for their tea.
D=Cod fillet, oven chips, peas and sweetcorn.

Katieless hope your little girl has a good nights rest, and feels better in the morning.

I need a drink, I need some sleep, maybe the drink will stop the coughing long enough for me to sleep. I am starting to get spaced out with the lack of sleep. I was putting washing on the line at 5:15 this morning because it was better to be standing up than trying to sleep. Wine plus anti-biotics, not a good idea.

pollywobbledoodle · 25/01/2008 22:29

katy are you sponsored by laughing cow cheese?

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 08:27

yes polly how did you guess.
no ,not really .it's just one of those things that i like and have found a lot of uses for for very few points/calories.i'm a big cheese lover so this is my saviour.
i definately feel a lot thinner today.my belly is virtualy flat
must be all the healthy soups i've been making and looking after dd.

are you feeling any better discoverlife?have you tried a night-time cough syrup?might be worth a shot x

MrsFish · 26/01/2008 08:31

Morning, how is your dd this morning?

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 08:32

alot brighter mrsfish, thanks for asking.she has kept some milk down and is smiling again
how are you?

OP posts:
MrsFish · 26/01/2008 08:40

I'm ok thanks, just wondering how to shift the goalposts with Ben so he wakes up at 7am rather than 6am He woke me up at 11.30, 2am and 4am last night, not for food he was just unsettled [yawn]

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 08:42

how old is he mrsfish?i'm with you on the unsettled baby.dd has slept through twice since she has been born and is very rarely in bed before 11

OP posts:
MrsFish · 26/01/2008 09:15

He will be 4 months old on 5th Feb. I think I am asking too much of him tbh, he is in his cot by 7.30pm latest and goes 12-13 hours between feeds, I had about 3 weeks of him sleeping through but he has now started stirring in the night, I am able to settle him again without feeding but it still interrupts my sleep It would be perfect if he would wake up at 7am rather than 6am though

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 09:19

do you want to swop?lol .6am is eartly though as the day seems soooo long.if it's any help it's alot easier to get up at that time in the summer
ds1 used to get up with the larks and i used to love it in the summer but in winter it still felt like the middle of the night.it sounds like he sleeps really wel tbh.could he be starting teething?

OP posts:
MrsFish · 26/01/2008 09:44

I don't think he has started teething yet, I can't feel anything, but he does chew on his hands alot...

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 09:49

maybe then? he might settle down again over the next few nights.at least he is easy to settle, bit of a shock to the system after sleeping through for you though
dd is asleep again she lasted a full 40 mins and 3 dirty nappies before she flaked out again.might grab some breakfast, only problem is she sleeps on me so i have to eat one handed.good for the figure though

MrsFish · 26/01/2008 09:51

Yeah, you should have another good loss this week

I now weigh the same as dh thats awful isn't it, to weigh the same as your dh I am now in a race with him to lose more

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 09:54

men are crap at dieting and then end up losing more.i think it's because us women are always on a diet and men do it once so there metabolism isn't shot .
i don't think it's that bad weighing the same as dh.you have just had a baby, whats his excuse

OP posts:
MrsFish · 26/01/2008 10:08

Well he is 8 inches taller than me so he isn't actually really overweight He wants to get back down to 12 stone, I want to get back down to 10 and a half which is another 2 stone to lose. I hope my willpower doesn't give up too soon I must do more exercise

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 10:16

you'll do it mrsfish and it is so much easier if your dh is with you instead of being a diet wrecker.
the weather should be getting better soon so lot's of long ,fast walks should do the trick.

discoverlife · 26/01/2008 12:35

Hi ladies, I got some sleep last night, isn't that wonderful. I think I'm on the backside of the problem now, recovering. And its a beautiful day. I will have probably put on this week, but, I have found a local slimming world so will try them out next week.

discoverlife · 26/01/2008 12:36

Concerning the weight of DH compared to thy self. My DH is 9 stone lighter than me. I haven't been able to sit on his lap for abot 12 years, I would break his legs .

katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 12:49

discoverlife, once again you have made me lol

OP posts:
katylessbumpy · 26/01/2008 16:02

ok today

b special k
l waferthin ham ,apple, tangerine, quavers(one handed eating due to dd)
d not sure but fancy a pizza(dominoes do a personal one for about 10 points) tempting
have made some no point soup and just eaten some until i decide what i want to eat ,rather than raid the biscuits

OP posts:
currantbunmum · 26/01/2008 16:40

Hmm, started off well with good intentions, now it has all gone pear shaped.

My brother and his wife and daughters were to come over to us for the afternoon, stay for tea, have time playing, etc. Due to arrive at 1.30. At 3pm brother phones saying really sorry, can't come as wife "in one of her moods", and refuses to come over. What a cow, we have organised our day around them, made tea for all of us, DD's excited about seeing cousins, and I've painted a canvas for her in extra quick time as she needed it by today. She really does believe the world revolves around her.

So to cheer up DD's we said we would all watch a film and have popcorn and some treats, it would have been rude not to join in wouldn't it?

Don't think I shall list my menu for today, if you don't mind.

Thank you for the opotunity to rant.
