L = Bowl of carrot and parsnip soup, 1 crumpet, 1 toast with flora light
Snack - 5 Malted milk biscuits, half pkt french fries
T - Pork tenderloin, green veg and 2 new potatoes.
Snack - Popcorn

I bet I haven't lost anything by tomorrow

MrsFish · 08/01/2008 23:22

What have you done to your back susie, is it an ongoing problem?

I've got an appointment to see my chiropractor again on thursday, put my neck out about 5 days ago now, it usually eases after a couple of days but I am still in pain with it now, hurts the most when lying down trying to sleep, I have just finished off the diclofenac (sp?)I had after my cs too

fedda · 08/01/2008 23:38

breakfast - grapes
11 - 1,5 toast of white bread, scraping of butter, blackcurrant jam, tea
Lunch - home made veg soup, apple, tea with home made jam tart (made first time, had to try)
4 - tea, home made jam tart
Dinner - home made chicken pie puff pastry with new pots and brockoli, water, tea with another jam tart

Susie have you thought about putting your hand in a high sling. If you haven't got a sling just pin your sleeve at the wrist up by the opposite shoulder and sleep sitting up tonight on the sofa. It may help as you also won't be rolling on it tonight.

discoverlife · 09/01/2008 00:48

I caught a thread somewhere, may have been on Mumsnet, about dieting to your blood group type. Now as I am an 'O' neg, I supposedly should cut out carbohydrates. I could well believe that is what I need, as whenever I eat some sweets, I don't feel full of energy, I feel drained and lethargic. I can actually feel the effect as a heaviness in my body or as a chemical reaction (sorry badly explained). Does anybody know of this one?

mylittlepudding · 09/01/2008 06:28

Morning all!

Yesterday's lie in was merely a blip. Been up since silly o'clock and both breakfasted already! And there are were crossaints in for DP when he finishes nights. I only had 1. DD had a whole one too - so much for my non-eating child! She is currently putting building blocks on the cat's head very cute though.

Susie hope you got some sleep and ditto what Katy said, am generally speaking around too.

Polly - great bargains!! I might go shopping! I got a paddling pool/ ball pool with sunshade thing for £4.50 yesterday! Was pleased with that.
I am just not sure if two potato cakes with a variety of toppings would fill me up - then I would snack. Maybe I should try though!

discoverlife - there is a book about the blood group thing. Personally I think it is probably nonsense - as in not founded in scientific fact - BUT if you find something that seems to work for you and your body/ metabolism, then go for it!!! I often make an omelette for lunch - so just protein, no carbs - and am amazed how long I feel contentedly full for.

fedda baking can be my downfall too, but I hope you enjoyed the jam tarts, there are worse things, if you are anything like me you'll probably eat them all anyway so might as well get on with it.

Right, I need to catch up with MrsFish et al on exercise... never know what/ when with DP working all hours and DD being such a full on little thing at the moment.

susie hope you managed to get some sleep

MrsFish · 09/01/2008 09:01

WOOHOO I've lost 3 pound just goes to show how much I was snacking before having not lost an ounce since the initial birth weight 3 months ago Roll on next week this has spurred me on to be really good this week.

Fubsy · 09/01/2008 12:09

No change here - not unsurprising as Ive done bugger all exercise and there was a load of choc when I went back to work, and it needed eating really.

Right - must take this seriously now

Fubsy · 09/01/2008 12:10

Oh and well done everyone who is losing! Ill keep watching for inspiration

mylittlepudding · 09/01/2008 12:42

Only 1lb! And I've been good. Oh well, better than none at all. Definitely a could do better over here!

MrsFish · 09/01/2008 12:55

Don't despair, be good this week and you should drop double next week

amazonianwoman · 09/01/2008 13:57

Yay, have lost 3lbs, amazingly

Didn't have a great week, foodwise. Managed about 2 days without snacking, then kind of succumbed.

BUT I have started walking lots again, and have had a few big sessions on the bike at home, so something must be working...

Well done to all

katylessbumpy · 09/01/2008 14:35
