Happier l think meeting your coach is a great idea too , it's too good a chance to miss , go for it lovely Smile
Not that is where you are going wrong not enough gin! Grin
Gen excellent weight! Well done lovely you are smashing this Smile

Gensola · 12/02/2022 23:53

happier I’d meet up with him!
Drinks at neighbours achieved, nothing too horrendous - 2 Prosecco and 1.5 white wine and 1 whiskey Mac cocktail- had saved 700 cals so hopefully won’t mess up my progress!
Worried a bit about DH - he’s had some bleeding from wound which seems off to me 5 days after the operation.
Quiet day of work prep and meal prep planned tomorrow.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/02/2022 08:27

Finally a fucking asod shift

Have he been overdoing it gen. Definitely get advice if you are worried

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2022 09:14

That's great life, not before time.
Haven't weighed today either, I'll wait until Tuesday or Wednesday. Today is a roast dinner out so that won't be great on the scales either.
I'm a bit of a worrier gen so I'd be back to the doctor but not sure how easy that is for you guys?

Mrsmadevans · 13/02/2022 14:57

Gen is he ok in himself ? No temp or feeling poorly , no signs of infection? l would ring the number they gave you or should have given you upon discharge to check lovely Flowers
Not l am a worrier too , l meet trouble half way Hmm
Good girl not weighing till Tuesday let yourself breathe for a couple of days, have a lovely lunch today Smile
Have a lovely day everyone Smile
l am confessing in advance .l have plans to scoff today for Dh's birthday, Indian takeaway , birthday cake and lots of Prosecco on the cards tonight , Dd1 doing MumBobs tomorrow so l can have a little drink , apparently it lowers your BP a little drinkypoo lol Grin

Not2bObvious · 13/02/2022 16:59

You have the absolute best time tonight mrs, you soooo deserve it. No guilt and enjoy every morsel 😋

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 13/02/2022 17:54

Enjoy mrs
I’ve eaten loads today beef stew, mash and veg with tons of ice cream

Gensola · 13/02/2022 20:17

mrs I agree, I hope you have a great night and really spoil yourself!
I was 132.5 today, hoping I maintain that for the official weigh in on Weds.
mrs no temp but he does feel woozy still. He is super stubborn about calling doctor but I will insist if he doesn’t feel better tomorrow. He’s very tired and lethargic - not sure if this is usual General Anaesthetic stuff or not.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/02/2022 07:12

That’s great gen re the weight
Hope he get k ok Feels better today but I would be ringing the ward

Not2bObvious · 14/02/2022 11:10

I think the GA could account for some feelings of fatigue but it would be no harm to be checked, but men - I know the stubbornness!
Scales a disgusting number today that I'm not recording. It was a foodie weekend so no huge surprise. Eggs/beans/toast for brunch. Wanted something far more indulgent but had a word with myself. Unexpected few days away has come up for next week so I truly need to be on best behaviour for the next 7 days. And I've less than 8 weeks to Easter break

Happierwithouthim · 14/02/2022 15:25

My scales is gradually coming down but not down to last Tuesday's weigh in yet.

life finally that's great
mrs well deserved
gen I'd check it out too, but men Hmm

Bought Sean Casey's airfryer recipe book - looks quite carby, was a bit of an impulse buy just printed it at work today.

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/02/2022 15:37

Bloody went back up today. Pump and 10500 steps done

Mrsmadevans · 14/02/2022 20:27

Oh thank you all so much we did have a lovely time yesterday , my Dh is such a kind man he's so good to everyone , l am so lucky Smile
Gen how is your Dh today ? l hope he is much improved lovely Smile
Life that is disappointing but keep going anothe day tomorrow Smile
Not you will wind it back l know , just think of being off in 2 months yay! Smile
Happier it will come keep it going , we had an airfryer but the steam coming off it gave us terrible condensation , so we got rid of it Hmm
Been ok today but having a treat tonight eating the left overs from yesterday birthday , once it's gone it's gone lol

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/02/2022 20:52

100 calories left today. Pump done and 13700 steps. Not bad today

Gensola · 15/02/2022 06:52

134 so up 2 pounds after DH made me a lovely valentines meal 😔 we had a gin and tonic then roasted chicken with butternut squash and herby couscous and salad and then he made dark chocolate dipped strawberries. Bottle of fizz between us. I didn’t think I’d gone that much over my calories as I’d had a tiny breakfast and lunch. Hope it shifts by tomorrow for my PT weigh in.

Not2bObvious · 15/02/2022 07:04

Does your PT not take your average weight gen? It's just fluid retention from carby food/alcohol, don't worry. Plenty of water today & check your average, I'm positive you're still down. Not a thing wrong with enjoying a lovely meal, sounded perfectly balanced from a nutrient POV- even if it wasn't, so what?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 15/02/2022 07:24

Sounds lovely gen and definitely bloat
Marginally down today but sooo tired

Not2bObvious · 15/02/2022 08:36

Haven't braved the scale. I'm trying to hold off breakfast til later - might get a workout done first between stuff.
Best get dressed into workout gear to set the tone. Have a kind of dragging myself through glue feeling, need an energy injection...or strong coffee?

Happierwithouthim · 15/02/2022 08:46

not I'm your sister - combination of late nights, poor sleep and week off pill, my eyes just want to close.

Went to pool Sunday, helping a friend who is learning to swim so I walked up and down on repeat offering advice and encouragement for 1.5 hours and swam a few lengths myself, after we had lunch went walking dog and I failed, had to come home after a short enough walk, I thought I'd fall asleep trying to converse when I got back to my house.

I'm also gen and life's sister in the flux on the scales, back up to 196, but my waist measurement is down another half inch. Grin I'm not bothered, I know my week was ok, it'll turn around.

Mrsmadevans · 15/02/2022 17:10

Have to jump on the tired bandwagon.
Been yawning all afternoon and feeeling really cold , Dh has the grumps because he is tired too Grin
I take no notice of him Grin
I am sure these SOD/bloat are just fluid variations , it will be off asap!
As for me ahem , l have been absolutely awful today, almond slice , teacakes with butter , Tuc sandwich biscuits , a very small piece of Dh's birthday cake , it's all gone now thank God. N'eer mind another day tomorrow ! Smile
Gen your Dh sounds better and that meal yummy yummy! [amile]

Not2bObvious · 15/02/2022 17:17

Have to say if there was ever a day that I want a medal for, this was it. Shitty mornings work (difficult people), then crappy visit to EP (felt myself turn teen, irritated the F out of me but that's on me) home to more shitty work (more difficult arsey people)
Dragged myself into the treadmill for a jog/walk & did a 20 minute full body dumbbell workout. But it was pure dragging myself to do it. No regrets but no great exercise high. Sneaky check on scales, still a hideous high number, so humour not helped there. Anywayyyyy tomorrow might be better

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 15/02/2022 17:20

Doing anything after that day deserves a dustbin sized medal
Crappy day here 8600 steps and my tea is 1079 calories. Not that I ate a full portion but kitchen definitely closed now
