That's a pain life, but you know it's likely bloat. Is there anything you know of that helps you avoid using food as a feelings fixer? I know I know, if you knew that you'd be sorted but how many days since you restarted have you felt yourself go over your calorie deficit. Is even trying to diet causing you to want more stuff? Could you try a few weeks of maintenance, allow a good calorie allowance/track and stick to it. The half size me lady often says we need to address the binge/overeat (not saying you binge!) before we can get comfortable with a calorie deficit.
Down a bit today, or let's just say I decided to take the lowest weight my SOD would spit out! After yesterday's crummy start, I've decided that's ok. One day at a time and all that jazz

Binge is right. Stress and not having the ,right, food in to grab. Or forget i have it.
Will rest from aerobics and track food today.

Busy work morning, did a 30 min body combat (badly) before lunch to get the blood pumping. I really want to go for a walk but I'm trapped by bloody deliveries, today is a bit bloody vague thank u v much post office 😡
Tasty filling lunch but my bold brat inside wants to find something treaty, have to try harder.

Been eating the left overs here today , l have finished the mince pies, the biscuits , given the nuts a run for their money and the last of the Doritos.
This scoff sounds worse than it was IE there was only 1 mnce pie left , 2 Mince pie Cookies, 3 Doritos & am handful of nuts, this was starting to sound like the 12 days of Christmas lol Smile
There is barely anything left now and l am a really happy bunny , thank God for that Grin
However Tree is still up , l was up for it's removal after the scoff l just had but Dd2 is in the doldrums & stopped me . Her boss is leaving and she is so upset because she is a darling , so tree has been scuppered again. Friday definitely ! Grin

Great advice Not , l always feel life is very unfair if l have to do something and it isn't what l want to do . IE part of the annoyance is that l really want to lose weight but there is always, usually my stupidness, my short sightedness , my thinking and emotions ,that stops me from seeing the bigger picture. I eat and binge to feel better after a tough day with MumBob when it is the last thing l should do. l should think further down the line how much better l will feel when l am lighter & more healthy . It is a double edged sword becaus we are doing this to ourselves and it makes us mad at ourselves . I hope YOU can make sense of what l have said Grin

mrs you are too hard on yourself - you’re not stupid or short sighted, you’re wonderful and caring and generous.
I didn’t manage to get up to workout before work today. Sigh. Will try an early one again on Friday.
Am planning to try and workout when I get in this eve but also have dinner to cook and am knackered.
Steps today 21,900 thanks to walk from work to dentist and back plus all my usual running about at work.
Cals should be under 1500, dinner is baked tofu with roasted beetroots, red peppers chickpeas.

I think it's best you didn't get to workout early gen, that sounds like a heavy day, you'd be destroyed working out as well!
Day is done, around 1700 so that's a decent day. I've a bit of running around tomorrow so my workout will be after work, I think a 30 min session will do.

Up a pound this morning, annoying to see but likely down to high carbs yesterday. Tired already after waking very early and then falling back asleep just after 6am, will need to watch for tired hunger.

Was watching a TikTok earlier and a lady was talking about the Jason Fung book The Obesity Code. Long and short of it, less processed foods, bigger gaps between eating might help with insulin issues caused by eating too much/too often processed food (nearly all food processed to a degree of course!) I've clearly summarised her summary but basically the insulin levels are affecting our calorie burn. So possibly explains the bonkers Christmas gains and subsequent slow losses? Interesting thought though, might see if I'm bothered to shell out for the audiobook but for today I'm going to try eat more on the nutrient side and space meals

not I’ve read that and also Andrew Jenkinson’s “Why we eat too much” and Tim Spector’s “Spoon Fed” - all very interesting and basically all saying the same things about how a calorie is not the same in terms of its effects on the body between sugar/protein/fat etc.

Yeah it's an interesting thought. Reviews are pretty glowing.
Not been a bad day so, got a walk done, got 37 min body pump done, not a lot of processed food so let's see if I can keep it up for a few days. Baby steps, have to have my treats tonight😉

Did you track it life? Hope you get through to the doctors. Despite having to pay for the doctor here, you still spend hella amount of time on hold😡
Down .8 on yesterday, now Happy Scales reckons I've lost .6 over 7 days but average still 3+ up on pre Christmas weight. Day 2 of aiming for less processed foods & better spacing between meals. Lots to do today, family shopping/EP shopping & errands & visit/work etc. Not a workout day thankfully, have to get steps done so that's ok. Tired already though 😴

I’m still hovering at 140/141, hoping that by the time I see PT next wed I will have had a good loss.
40 min strength workout today. Have invigilation this afternoon so will have to remember to get up and walk about a bit or it will be three dead hours.
Having my sparkly NY nails taken off today also. Need something more sober for work!!

I'm sure you'll have a great result next week once you've a good week under your belt. Got some work done, shopping done, EP errands and pop by for an hour done. Now for more work then school related stuff. Looking forward to a nice dinner this evening.
