Decadent December

Its been a long, difficult year once, so I thought maybe we could all be a bit decadent in December whether or not this involves food.

I'm starting at nearly three pounds up since last month, but I did have Covid so it was an abnormal low., 8st12.5. Aiming to go for damage limitation throughout December.

Sounds good to me! Thanks Octopus! I will weigh in the morning for start of the month. LadyDanbury, these slips will happen for sure. A drop of a few pounds before Christmas would be great for sure. I am at the stage of giving myself credit for all the good choices rather than being too tough on the slip ups. So I haven't bought junk since I started back at end of October compared to pulling in to inhale junk a few times a week. I have been getting more exercise and earlier nights, all these things will make a difference over time rather than instant results. Plus I'm happier trying than not. Hope everyone has a good day!

Thanks @HeyGirlHeyBoy. I definitely have some water retention going on. I wanted to be 11st 7 by December. I am 11st 8.7 today, which is still a loss of 4lbs this month, the best I've done for a while.

I'd like to lose a couple more pounds in the next couple of weeks, then definitely damage limitation. Going to try and fast over the Christmas period still. Even if only 1 day a week. Will see how it goes.

Thanks Octopus. I was still 12:4 this morning so I ended November 9lbs lower than I started. Mostly thanks to super stress and loss of appetite. I do actually look and feel a bit slimmer and some clothes are too baggy now.

Would ideally like to get below 12 stone this month but obviously there's Christmas in the mix so not sure how realistic that is.

LadyD 4lbs is great - it's very very unusual for me to lose a lot in a month and I'd be more than happy with 4lbs.

Here you all are! I was 10/8 yesterday, 10/7 today. It’s all fluctuations, I know, but I think I started the last thread at 10/10.

Annoyingly DP’s work trip has been cancelled because of Covid so my “great reset” will not happen.

I am logging for the day and tbh if there was a chocolate or a biscuit within reach, I'd devour it but I'm exhausted so I am staying put and having an early night. I'll be glad in the morning I hope!!

Probably hit the two litres of water. Feel cross and cranky after a disturbed sleep last night, being on the go since return from work (a stereotypical 'I haven't sat down' day) and dc not accepting bedtime is bedtime!!

No weigh in for me today, v busy but also eating too much. Will aim to drink more water today

9 pounds is massive Honeybadger and you're maintaining it! Here's to a less stressful month and a relaxing nreak ahead. This cranky pants is 9st, delighted. Three neals, gallons of water, bed at 10.30.

Well done HeyGirl. And yes Octopus it has made a difference. I'm now at a stage where I can actually see some kind of end in sight and signs of a waist Wink

No weigh in today. Had lunch out with my sister yesterday (managed to pick a small plate and to leave half of chips) plus some crisps and a mini packet of chocolate buttons in the evening.

Today is a busy-ish work day and I won't eat till the evening and then hopefully something fairly light.

8st13.75 this morning, not even steps and too much food. Ended up getting takeaway last night cause of no time. Very busy with work at the moment. Had a cider last night, it was lovely but these takes it makes me tired the next day. Need to do better.

Octopus, you're very hard on yourself. Of course we'll have the evenings out and the lunches, life's pleasures, hope you enjoyed.

I'm down to 8st 13.25, delighted. A little over 2lbs since last week and just over 8.5lbs in 7 weeks. Night out tonight, the only one probably, can't wait. Three meals, water water water and no hope of a 10pm bedtime! Happy Friday all.

Hi All, very PMS feeling this week. Also work has meant I haven't been to the gym since last Friday. I am down to 11st 8.5 after my fast day yesterday. Hoping to see a big loss once this water retention goes. I'm very bloated around my stomach, even after fasting.
