@Gensola

Have had the worst few days food wise, need to stop now! Transfer on Friday so a few days of healthy food needed. Haven’t dared to weigh Shock I dread to think. Once I’ve had the embryo in I can only walk for exercise so will need to have an angelic 11 days until the test, then if it’s negative I can crack on with the spin classes. Have been binge reading cosy 1930s mysteries and eating cake Grin
Gen the stress & the hope and the worry for Dh & the transfer is probably getting to you , a bit of comfort food and a chill is what the Dr ordered Smile Flowers
Mrsmadevans · 07/04/2021 14:54

Not it's freezing here as well, l have had a feed of MumBob & my/Bobbo's assorted toxic family and have succumbed to a chocolate & orange do nut & very nice it was too! Shock Grin

Not2bObvious · 07/04/2021 16:41

Sympathies mrs, hopefully the memory of the toxic encounters will fade soon. That doughnut sounded lush. I've hidden away the last couple of hours as I'm on graze mode, nothing is safe! Should set a rule that I can eat whatever I want, except I have to walk to the shop for it. And I can only buy one thing per visit. That might deter me in this weather!

Ah have the off day, begin again tomorrow

17400 steps and 26 calories left. I forwent the bunny and had a yogurt for my sweet fix

Not2bObvious · 07/04/2021 18:57

I've been to the shops and bought all the goodies. I think I'm having a hormone spike, the hunger feels real. Nearly 11,000 steps so that's something.

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 07/04/2021 21:07

That's decent steps not. Controlled over eat needed imo

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2021 07:50

Managed to leave 100 calories behind, although if I'm honest I'd probably had some sloppy tracking so 100 went a towards that. Scales down another smidge, but week on week up 2.6 - also found a lot of mess the kid(s) had hidden and trying v hard not to evict them. I'm so sick of the mess and the stress these days. Feeling very low for days now.

DH ultrasound came back clear, they still want to do the colonoscopy as an ultrasound doesn’t show everything but it is a relief in the meantime!
We had our first migrateful cooking class last night, Syrian food - absolutely amazing! Really enjoyed the experience and the meal was lovely.
We have a Lebanese one tomorrow which I’m really looking forward to already. The teacher last night was such a lovely man, he had been a vet in Syria but can’t get accredited easily here so is teaching cooking lessons.

ememem84 · 08/04/2021 08:55

5560 steps so far. Been for a run this morning and walked from nursery to the office.

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2021 08:57

I hope your husband is ok gen, I missed this somewhere unless you mentioned it on another thread. Cooking lessons sound really nice, not a cuisine I've ever experienced. Had Lebanese though. That's tough for the teacher, must be a bit demoralising to not be recognised when you've done such an amount of education/work. Hopefully in it's just a time thing

Fingers crossed for the Colonoscopy now Smile

Mrsmadevans · 08/04/2021 15:37

Life excellent stuff well done ! Smile
I won't say a lot because l am just not behaving [hm]

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2021 17:29

Good work life. Nearly hit my 9,000 after a bit of walking on the spot & a 40 minute walk to the shop. Long day, didn't eat until lunchtime, just wasn't that bothered so decided to take advantage of lack of hunger for a change. Still hungry after my dinner, probably because of the missed meal.

Thanks not, mrs - he is on the two week bowel cancer pathway as a precaution after an appt with his GP about stomach pains. The GP said it was unlikely but he wants to rule it out so it’s been a scary time. The ultrasound being clear is a big help while we wait for the colonoscopy.
Just had my fertility acupuncture and followed it up with a huge piece of baklava and vanilla tea. DH is making lamb koftas, cucumber and yogurt salad, minted potatoes tonight, can’t wait! Have stocked up on alcohol free beer.

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2021 17:39

Oh crikey, that must have been frightening gen, but great that your doctor is on the ball. I've had a colonoscopy and I'd push for picolax over the other prep. It's one dose as opposed to litres of the other stuff, Also invest in a tub of sudocrem, every visit a little dabbed on the tissue stops the ring of fire. Sorry for the tmi but have experience of this in my family & I think I had the easiest prep.

25000 steps. I'm having a bunny later

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/04/2021 20:09

About 400 over. Hey ho

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2021 20:34

Just over 11,000 and 400 under. I could eat more but I don't need to (for a change)
That is a lot of steps life, I think you've covered the extra cals

Mrsmadevans · 08/04/2021 20:35

Gen keeping everything crossed for you sweetheart Flowers
Enjoy your meal it sounds delicious!

Not2bObvious · 08/04/2021 21:07

In other news, bought new jeans and they're too small - not vanity sized for a change. Since I can't easily change them, they're my next goal jeans. I reckon 10-14 pounds would do it. So basically I'm going to have this too small pair of jeans forever without them ever making it out in public😂
