mrs we booked a week in a gorgeous Welsh Airbnb near the black mountains for 6 days in July - can’t wait!!
I have just practised my presentation on long suffering DH and it is 45 mins long atm - needs to be 25. Job for tomorrow is to cut it down and learn to shut up
I finally feel a bit more like myself so hopefully back to normal tomorrow after a good sleep.

Not2bObvious · 25/03/2021 07:32

Up .4 today, that scales likes to bring me back to earth for sure. More likely that yesterday's low was the outlier, today's was more realistic. Anyway, I'll keep going. Plan to do my working out later this morning, take an early lunch break when it's quiet.
Good luck on the editing gen, hope you're fully recovered. Great to hear you're on track mrs. That's some steps you got done life, hope the doms are better today too.
So glad your brother just had a mild case happier, I have heard of some people saying they've been really sick. Not close enough that I could ask questions but not sick enough for hospital, I'm guessing v bad flu sick. Had flu around 10 years ago and thought I was going to die - never been as sick again touch wood.

Workout & jog done. On just over 11,000 as had to go to the shops as well, that might be the extent of it today. Burger in a bowl tonight. And then lots of junk I reckon, may as well be honest! I've started to add 300 cals into my snacks at the start of every day, enough for a few bits. Then I replace that with my actual snacks once I've chosen them. It's working ok

Not that SOD will give you a mental breakdown blasted thing!
Good luck with the editing Gen that sounds as if you have a lot of info you can use for another presentation in the future so it is all good. Your Air BnB sounds just lovely Smile
Life that sounds like a great deal of steps lovely well done! Smile
I am ok food wise today still busy with Mum so it helps me muchly Grin

Not2bObvious · 26/03/2021 07:49

Glad it's still going well mrs, I need to be kept busy today to help stay on track.
Down a bit so visiting the 161's before popping back to anywhere upward over the weekend😂
Have to go do proper food shop in a bit, ugh, sweaty face time. I'll get it done first thing

Happierwithouthim · 26/03/2021 13:59

183 currently

Did food shopping last fri night and wasn't in the form for it, don't feel like it this eve either so I'll pass. Dm being around means I'm not tied to getting it done when dc are at their dads.

dc got mcdonalds last night but I went to nearby fish shop and bought some monkfish, made it into a lovely tomato creamy veg sauce.

Not2bObvious · 26/03/2021 14:26

Got a walk in while waiting for shop to open, that & a walk to another shop to get what forgot brings me to 11,000'ish. This is a rest day so that's enough. I love monkfish happier, haven't had it in a long time. Made a fab Thai dish with it years ago, when Superquinn was still going, cost me a fortune!
Another 2 weeks of 2 kids at home. There feels like no end in sight

Gensola · 26/03/2021 14:46

Monkfish is DH favourite - he makes a dish of monkfish tails wrapped in Parma ham.

Not much chance for exercise today. May try to get out for a walk later on my own just to clear my head. Food has also been terrible, the usual buns and sandwiches you get at these things. Coke which I almost never drink. Pasta salad stuff with cheese. Oh well, I’d say I’m eating my feelings.

Happierwithouthim · 26/03/2021 15:13

I love it too and hadn't it in ages. Ordered it in an upmarket restaurant as a starter one time it came out raw Envynot envy!

Gen the food can't be helped. And the occasion allows for this too.

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/03/2021 17:50

Are there traybakes gen?

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/03/2021 17:50

Gensola · 26/03/2021 17:53

Mrsmadevans · 26/03/2021 20:28

Gen hope the service went well, don't stress over the food it was the only thing to do given the occasion & your Mum was ok bless her, very upsetting l know Flowers
Not Happier Monkfish is delicious , don't have it very often because it is expensive but oh so worth it Smile
Life love Father Ted Grin
Been ok again , busy does it for me Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/03/2021 07:13

I agree, yesterday's food doesn't count gen.
I made brownies for the stables.
Going to start again Monday as I'm off work which is a huge stress so have 2 weeks to make good choices

Not2bObvious · 27/03/2021 10:08

I hope you're ok today gen - must have been toughThanks Terrible year for grief, not that any year/time is good but all the normal processes are messed up.
Sts which is good for a Saturday, went over cals for the first time this week - not as bad as some Fridays though. Here's hoping for a good day

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 27/03/2021 11:41

Life brownies 🤤🤤🤤
Try to relax a bit lovely 💐
Gen hope you are feeling ok today and your Mum 💐
Not great stuff re the sts well done !
Am ok so far we shall see 😊
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

Not2bObvious · 27/03/2021 12:00

Had a lovely evening with EP, bit tired now as my vino allowance was slightly exceeded. Not sure whether to do weights today, keeping with the every second day or leave it til tomorrow 🤔 No rush to decide, nothing else to do today so I can have a rest & do it in a while.
Best of luck today mrs, is it a quieter day for you? You should put your feet up if you can

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 27/03/2021 12:29

Yet another sts

Not2bObvious · 27/03/2021 12:38

I reckon recurrent sts is the precursor to a loss happier, that's what I'm hoping at least! I saw 160.8 for a second this morning before it shot back to 161.6, boo hiss. But maybe in the next week if I can keep my trap more closed than open!

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 27/03/2021 15:05

Hopefully not but probably because I walked very little this week.
Did 5 miles this morning after the housework and going to do my grocery shopping now

When dm last stayed I fell into trap of snacking in the evenings and drinking at the weekends so I'm going to avoid that this time around
