Welcome to the new thread!

OP posts:
susiecutiemincepies · 01/12/2007 20:51

ah thank you katy SO kind of you. I'd love to be looked after, especially with mince pies and hot chocolate. I dont think i'd inflict our bugs and these teeth on anyone though! so kind though, made me really smile, thank you

I did a silly back there with my tyoing it should have said
keep at it girls, you are all doing so much better than me well! oops....

I'm just sitting here on my own, trying not to venture into the kitchen and eat things I bought for Mr Cutie.

I've just has a banana and a satsuma, and enjoying a large mug of tea. I'm going to treat myself to a baileys later on....

Waiting for pain killers to kick in just now. THe busiest part of mine and Isobels day is also the hardest for me. Dinner, bath bed etc really strains me so much. She went to bed with no tears tonight, I dont think she's done that whilst awake for about 6 months!

thanks for reading all my long posts girls, it helps to just have a small outlet. Plus you are all just so lovely to me. I appreciate it so very much. keep up the diets girls, we can do it!

santaslittlebumper · 01/12/2007 21:08

we can do it susiecuitie
you are an inspiration(and thats not just the beer talking,i've been playing the xfactor drinking game again lol)and you always feel to me like your smiling.

pollywollybauble · 01/12/2007 23:07

hi susie.....are you sure you'd like me to go and see mr cutie....i am so slinky now! ....actually it's hard to slink anywhere with a walking stick

mr c is probably stretching out in his bed sleeping in the peace and quiet.....you on the other hand are hard at it (looking after Isobel, not the baileys)...you have my sympathy, i hate that feeling on a bad day of just dying for dd to go to sleep so that i can slump a bit....

am on new meds to try and unstiffen my legs and it seems to be working on the legs but also zonking me out so i may not be around too long

foodwise
brekkie...muesli
lunch.....tuna and salad cream sarnies with salad.cappuccino
eve.......mushroom curry and rice from the freezer and a third of a naan. Pineapple.
cappuccino

mylittlepudding · 02/12/2007 05:42

Exercise? What exercise?!

I do try and babywear or carry, so I'm sure that burns some, and we don't have a car, so it's probably a few miles walk a day, try to get my pulse up. But mostly it's the tearing around after a small person kind of stuff.

I need to get better at the fruit and vegetables stuff. Though the eating a bit less and keeping very busy seems to be working so maybe I need to not beat myself up.

Polly I was in obs and gynae. I loved it, mostly - such an adrenaline junkie! Til a typical obstetrician's pregnancy probably did for my chances of getting employed again. Hyperemesis, with a Mallory-Weiss tear, pre-eclampsia, obstetric cholestasis. Could have been worse though. And CIN III after a postnatal smear so I'm going in next week to have that sorted. Enough already!

Katy Like the new name!

Susiec I really struggle when dp is on nights and sleeps in the day and is just mentally absent - can't imagine how isolating it is with so much pain too. Need to weigh this morning

santaslittlebumper · 02/12/2007 08:17

mylittlepudding...how earlyare you up
we have been up all night.dd has developed an awful barking coughshe looks shocking this morning

mylittlepudding · 02/12/2007 15:33

Croup? (it sounds like a seal) How does her chest look? I am sorry you are struggling with a poorly one again (or is it still?). I hope you can get some rest today.

I have given in and accepted that the day starts at 5am. It's grim though.

Good news -1lb this week. Now 10st 11. Still don't seem to look any better... self esteem maybe??

Jahan · 03/12/2007 14:50

Could I join this thread please?
I need to lose 4 stones. I am sort of doing it through ediets. Its sort of because dh joined(well, I signed him up) recently when he was distraught to find he could no longer fit into his designer suits(!)so I'm using their meal plans for him and adjusting it for myself.
Its good to do it with dh but he doesn't understand that I NEED to talk diets and food whereas he, being a bloke, just gets on with it.
So can I talk to you lovely ladies and report my losses and daily foods eaten here please?

santaslittlebumper · 03/12/2007 14:52
