Dh fist Fitbit went after 2 years only we couldn't get Fitbit to sort it out they were terrible. At least he was ok from Amazon . Tbh l don't think l will get another one .

WreckTangled · 19/09/2020 20:02

When my Fitbit broke I did a live chat with them and they sent me a replacement

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/09/2020 07:42

Fit bit were bad with me.
1lb up Chinese bloat

Not2bObvious · 20/09/2020 08:31

Turns out I only bought it last July so I'm trying to see can I contact them. My options from the phone (too lazy to logon laptop) seems to be message by twitter?
At this stage I'm starting to feel like going back to an actual watch and just keep walking as I always do. I'm on my 3rd Fitbit product, still fat, maybe they're the problem!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 20/09/2020 08:45

Not I used live chat on my phone

WreckTangled · 20/09/2020 09:14

I'm so excited because out local health food shop have started stocking keto bread rolls, bagels and cookies. Hope they have some in stock as I'm going to go in today. They're very expensive but such is life.

Happierwithouthim · 20/09/2020 09:21

One west coast cooler, 2 glasses of water & one soda water. Ricotta tortellini with peas spinach & asparagus in a very watery creamy sauce. Got dessert super fudge chocolate brownie but was too full to eat more than a few bites

I've been scrolling on Instagram 2 weeks New You for €54, I'm tempted just for a kickstart, but the brain says, it'll only be water weight and it'll go back on.

Going to do the detox my friend has given me details for next sat, that started her bf off on his weight loss journey.

Fitbit gave me discount codes rather than replacements when I'd issues, but I hadn't bought directly from them.

Not2bObvious · 20/09/2020 09:29

Case logged with Fitbit after a bit of back/forth on Twitter. We shall see how that goes. First drink of the week last night, first binge of snacks too. I'm in a better place than last week, only 1 day over cals, not 3. Up .8 this morning, to be expected

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 20/09/2020 09:42

I haven't bought directly either but as their warranty is meant to be 2 years, I hope they'll sort it? They can shove their discount codes quite frankly, I'm not spending any more money with them if they try that lark.
Sounds like a lovely evening happier. I know what you mean about considering other plans, I actually thought about SW or WW, I'd started to get proper upset as I could/can see the gain, was back up to 11 stone 13 for a few weigh ins. I find using stones & pounds upset me more, so 167 was scary but 11.13 was terrifying! I did join another program, cost me €45 or so for 3 months but it's more a mind/behaviour thing, hard to describe, it's taking a lot of homework but it's good.
But the general idea is to take it slow & realistic, not to be too much of a perfectionist as it can lead to throwing in the towel when we don't behave as perfect dieters. Some days just need to be good enough, track your food honestly, get a bit of movement in, drink your water, get your sleep, be kind to yourself. If it comes off half a pound a week, so what. You'll still be around 2 stone lighter in a year.

I definitely haven't time or energy for something like that at the moment not.
At the moment I'd just like not to be gaining weight, I know the 1.5lbs this week is down to antibiotics and less exercise so I'm ok with that but I'm 12 4 now it's got to be the ceiling weight

Happierwithouthim · 20/09/2020 10:03

Barrons in limerick are also doing a box with protein stuff

Not2bObvious · 20/09/2020 10:36

Keep it simple happier, if the protein thing would help - even just psychologically - go for it. Medication really messes with the scales for sure, maybe pop it aside for a few days & focus on eating nutritionally/keeping hydrated. You'd easily see a couple of pounds of bloat gone by Wednesday. Sometimes all you need is a decent weigh in to bolster you up, shame a bad one can beat you down

Least said today the better. Loads of hefting furniture and stuff. Bad food day ans steps day

WreckTangled · 20/09/2020 18:03

Dh knows I'm trying to avoid carbs and eat better but he bought me home a McDonald's. It was just mozzarella sticks which are my favourite so I ate them and now feel shit (mentally!). No dinner for me. I'd already eaten too much for lunch when he came home with them and I'm still full now.

Not2bObvious · 20/09/2020 20:55

Wow - just got confirmation that Fitbit are sending me a replacement! Thanks to you mrs, I was kind of convinced I had it 2 years - you saying amazon was replacing your husbands promoted me to check. You lot might make a frugaleer out of me yet!
Just checked my average cals for the week, 1,777 daily down from just shy of 2,100 the previous week. Very happy with that. My alcohol intake was drastically reduced which was a great help. Mightn't be as good next week but I will get 4 days AF for sure as have a super intense week with training for full days.
Bit quiet here, how's everyone doing?

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 20/09/2020 20:56

Just missed that you guys had posted.
And I meant prompted, not promoted 🤦‍♀️

Hope everyone has had a great day. Sleep well everyone 😀

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/09/2020 06:26

Crappy day after running about after DC and moving furniture. See same pattern all week. Can't get to my gym kit this morning.

WreckTangled · 21/09/2020 07:12

Weight up. Totm though. Meh. I'm just going to focus on eating as much food as I was but low carb because otherwise I'll end up eating two sharing bars of chocolate and three packets of biscuits Grin

Happierwithouthim · 21/09/2020 10:12

Weight up again this morning, I just have to deal with it.

Porridge for breakfast
9cal chivers jelly for 10am
Toasted wholemeal ham and cheese sandwich with scallions and a side of coleslaw and an orange.

Dinner will be one of the two recipes things I've left so salmon or pork stirfry thing. I think salmon.

I'd a lot of nice things to eat yesterday - carrot cake, mint cornetto, 4 squares of cadburys dark milk salted caramel and leftovers of jocelyn dimbleby's fudgey apple cake (delicious btw)

Not2bObvious · 21/09/2020 10:36

Weight the same as yesterday, down 2.4lb on last Monday. Here's to a good week

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 21/09/2020 12:13

I ordered a week of new you plan for next week after detox on sat

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/09/2020 12:17

Trying to stick to calories. Macros not gonna happen

Not2bObvious · 21/09/2020 13:13

Is that meal replacements happier
If you stick to cals life, that's good enough
