If you are 5'7 and a size 10...

How much do you weigh?
I know its relative, but I'm on a journey to get back to size 10. Right now I'm aiming for a healthy BMI and I've gone from 186lbs to 168lbs so far (healthy BMI would put me at 159lbs)
I'm a mostly comfortably size 12 but only just. A big meal would make Jean's uncomfortable. I'm just looking for a guide for the next goal.
In case anyone is interested, I'm on 1220 kcal a day, doing Chloe Ting's summer shred challenge, running twice a week and cycling at least 20km every day.
Katinthedoghouse · 28/07/2020 13:25
What’s that in kg ?
Katinthedoghouse · 28/07/2020 13:27
143
That puts me in the comfortable bmi tabge and I’m a 10/12
Bobbiepin · 28/07/2020 13:29
Gone from 86kg to 76kg. First goal is 70kg give or take a couple of grams
StuntCroissant · 28/07/2020 13:29
8st 6 (53.5kg). I think that's around 120lb?
I'm a small 10 (used to be a true 10 but, vanity sizing).
Xiaoxiong · 28/07/2020 13:30
I'm 5'6" and weigh 165lbs at the moment, and am size 12 with some clothes a little too tight after a big meal. When I was a size 10 I was more around the 140-145lb mark.
Good for you for losing 20lbs!! That's what I'm aiming for myself!
megletthesecond · 28/07/2020 13:33
I'm actually 5ft 6 and a half but I'm 8st 4lbs.
I'm a 10 in most places. But that shrinks to an 8 or even 6 in M&S and Next.
Liverpoolarefab · 28/07/2020 13:33
I am a size 10, 5 ft 6.5 and weigh 138lbs .
SallyWD · 28/07/2020 13:33
I'm 5ft7 about 143lbs (10 stone 3lbs). I'm a pear shape with a big bottom and thighs so as 12 on the bottom and 10 on the top.
Bobbiepin · 28/07/2020 13:34
@StuntCroissant may I be really rude and ask how you carry the weight? At 5'7 when I dropped below 10st I looked really unwell. 8st would look awful on me!
145lbs sounds a long way off but I think that would be reasonable! Thank you, it's not been easy but definitely worth it.
marchplane · 28/07/2020 14:50
I'm around 150lbs and a comfortable 10 on bottom and 8-10 on top. I'm quite muscular and pear shaped and I think that has a bearing. IME pear shaped people tend to weight more but fat around the middle is unhealthier than that around the hips and thighs. People don't believe me when I say how much I weigh. I'm a stone and a half heavier than my same height apple shaped friend who has skinny arms and legs and a big tummy. I'd imagine I'm healthier than her though.
TWAMSWIAO · 28/07/2020 14:52
I’m a definite 12 at 147lbs. I reckon I’ll need to lose another stone to get down to a 10.
StuntCroissant · 28/07/2020 17:45
@Bobbiepin I'm probably an athletic pear (😂) if that's makes sense - so I if I put on weight it all tends to go on my thighs, calves and bum. I have quite a long torso so have maintained a flat stomach without having to do very much.
WhatILoved · 28/07/2020 18:53
I am 5ft 8 and 137 lbs. today's 10 all over. I need to get size small if a medium is classed as 10-12. In other European countries I sit firmly in medium.
clockoclock · 28/07/2020 19:04
I'm just under 5'8 and weigh about 9 and a half stone (61kg). Size 10 in most shops. and apple shape. Size 8 or even getting towards a size 6 in places such as Next, Joules or M&S (defo vanity sizing in those shops).
TheMumblesofMumbledom · 28/07/2020 19:14
Size 10 for me at a smidge shorter would be about 144llbs. I'm aiming to get back there but have 4 flipping stone to lose
Whatthebloodyell · 28/07/2020 19:20
I’m 146 pounds and a small size 12, sometimes size 10 on top. When I was 9 and a half stone I was a comfortable 10 and that is what I would like to get back to, but it is difficult!
BrassicaBabe · 28/07/2020 20:04
5'7, size 10. Happy between 135-139lb. Bounce to about 145 when some size 10 gets a bit tight.
paddingtonbearsmarmalade · 28/07/2020 20:21
I’m 5’7 and rather overweight 😬 but I’m aiming for 145lbs which will put me in the middle of the “healthy” BMI range.
MinnieMousse · 28/07/2020 20:29
Not good at lbs or kg but I'm 5'7 and fit in my size 10s at anything between 9 and 9 1/2 stone. At 9 stone things are quite loose and at 9 1/2 trousers are a bit snug around the middle. I carry all my weight around my stomach though. Even at 9 1/2 stone the legs of some trousers etc can be a bit baggy but feel tight around the waist.
lmfaoo · 28/07/2020 20:35
I'm 5"7 and have recently gone from 156lbs (size 14) to 140lbs (small 12) i reckon I'll need to lose another 7lbs to be a comfortable 10. I'm an hourglass shape though with a small waist and wide hips/ bust.
Atla · 29/07/2020 14:12
I'm overweight at the moment but I'm 5ft 7.5 and was a size 10/12 at about 140lb, I'd have to be below that to be a true size 10 9/9.7lb? Its been so long I cant remember
hamstersarse · 29/07/2020 14:16
I’m 5’7 and weigh 9 stone, sometimes a few pounds under
I wear mostly 8s (vanity sizing) some size 10s
newdocket · 29/07/2020 14:19
Am 5.7 and a bit, weigh 130lbs and am a 10, can be an 8 in some shops, or a 12 in others.
MrsR87 · 29/07/2020 14:24
I'm almost 5 foot 8 and a size 8-10. Pre-pregnancy I weighed 150 lbs.
Frankiemintz · 29/07/2020 14:31
I weigh 139 lbs and I’m a size 12 on bottom, 10 on top. I would probably have to be about 130 to be a comfortable size 10 trousers/jeans.
