Morning! Rubbish night had by most then. Babyshoes was up half the night and I'm knackered, he's just gone down for a nap and I'm tempted to have one too! But better go and tidy the house a bit, it all counts as exercise
Porridge for brekkie so far but i'm already hungry.....
Stay strong all, see you this evening

slimbyxmas · 02/10/2007 10:01

Hello all
So sorry that some have had a rubbish night, it's much harder to diet when you are tired, carbs come a-calling...

Had a banana before the school run and just had home made museli(my dh makes it, nothing to do with any domestic godessy-ness!!) with warm milk and four chopped up apricots, yum! Taken a tin of tuna out of the cupboard to have with salad in wraps for lunch and going to make a lean mince pasta thing for tea must resist mozzarella

When I got peckish last night I had one meringue nest with frozen yoghurt and five big strawberries as a sort of delayed pudding, I used to have that quite a bit on weightwatchers, it's surprisingly low in fat and calories and a very tasty treat. I lost five stone with ww four years ago, most of which has stayed off apart from the "babyweight" so I decided to tot up ,y points from yesterday- about 23 which is good as I think with breastfeeding I could probably have about 30 on ww. Not to be done everyday, but I think one of the things I DON'T do is listen to my body, and I onlly really want to eat when I am hungry. There's a really good article in Red magazine this month about the seven types of eating - true hunger, thrist hunger, comfort hunger etc, which is really interesting and rang very true.

kitsandbits · 02/10/2007 10:31

HIya

Am starting today (even though it was yesterday - i wasnt prepared then!)

im hungry - lol

CountessDracula · 02/10/2007 10:34

well I did pretty well last night

Fish and steamed veggies for supper

I did have 2 tsp of granola just before bed

Then bircher muesli with raspberries and seeds this am

katybump · 02/10/2007 10:37

true intheseshoes it is so much harder to eat properly when your tired, biscuits are so easy to just grab aren't they.

being cheesy again but feel really proud that everyone who had crap nights is still so positive about losing weight today

hiya kitsandbits good luck for today and you know where you are if you need encouragement x

exercise wise

Walked dd to school and on to next train station very fast (about 20 - 25 mins)

Am going to gym at lunchtime

AnAngelWithin · 02/10/2007 11:25

dd has finally gone for a sleep. just had 2 biscuits and then stopped myself. not hungry, just habit i think. i just want to go to sleep myself! I have got loads of stuff to do around the house today though. I'm finding it hard to keep going really. no energy. though surprisingly i am not even hungry yet.

whats everyone having for lunch?

dislexicicecream · 02/10/2007 11:41

hello agen everyone,
sounds like you are all off to a good start,
for the people who didnt sleep well last night i share your pain! i think the moon was making problems last night lol
my oldest has ADHD and sometimes gets very paranoyed 3am he woke me up telling me that there wear people in the house , then when i settled him agen he came back saying it was going to explode then i settled him agen and he woke me up to see if i was alive cos he said he new i was going to die in my sleep last night lol needless to say i am still very much alive but very tiered,
funny when i am tiered like this i reallllly want sweets, and there is half a birthday cake looking at me!
katybump is there many places in vagas to bye a dress? im to broke to by one in english money lol,

katybump · 02/10/2007 11:53

dislexicicecream · 02/10/2007 12:05

cool i think there is a tkmax in southampton might have to take a trip over there and take a look i didnt know they sold dresses i dont really want the whole white wedding dress,so been looking at formal ones, its ok for my other half he is going to wear his dress uniform so he dosent have to think about what to wear ggrr, but thanks for the idea £40 is more my price range hehe
at least im saving money on not eating junk food )

dislexicicecream · 02/10/2007 12:10

why is it it feels soooo much easyer to eat birthday cake or crips than it is to eat an apple or grapes?
last night i had good intentions i hooked up the dvd player and was ready to exersise i went to put the dvd on and the box was empty lol
still havent found it i bet it is in one of the kids dvd boxes !

mylittlefreya · 02/10/2007 12:15

We had a terrible night. DD has been poorly for nearly 3 weeks now. Gets better for a couple of days, then worse, back to sounding like Darth Vader again. It's hard not to comfort eat. But I am inspired by you all!!!

Off out to our baby group that is two miles away, and will walk there and back!

katybump · 02/10/2007 12:22

hope your little one gets better mylittlefreya

MarkStretch · 02/10/2007 12:44

Hello everyone. Sounds like we're all doing well so far.

Today I've had porridge and banana and a pint of water for breakfast, and just had tuna salad, a rice cake and fruit for lunch with another pint of water. Got left over ratatouille and brown rice for dinner.

Even DD (5) is getting into the spirit and asked for a fruit salad with blueberries in her packed lunch this morning!
