MarkStretch · 01/10/2007 19:03

Well done moonmother! How do you do your grilled mushrooms? I love mushrooms but don't they just go all dry and wrinkly or do you put a bit of oil on?

katybump · 01/10/2007 19:06

I am very very impressed too!

I have been ok - like already said, consistent little changes are the best for me.

I have drunk lots of water, eaten ok-ish, not nibbled all evening, and walked for an hour briskly with dd in the pushchair.

The late night dinner is tough, I find it hard, but otherwise we'd never see each other. I don't know what the answer is there. We're having leftover roast pork in a rice thing.

Here's to another good day tomorrow!

MarkStretch · 01/10/2007 19:09

Thanks polly. I was worried everyone would think I was a man tho.......

moonmother · 01/10/2007 19:09

markstretch I've got a spray-bottle full of olive oil,and I just give them a quick blast of the oil, give them a shake and then put them under the grill, they do still wrinkle a bit but not as much as without.

katybump · 01/10/2007 19:10

how about working it off with dh at bedtime *mylittlefreya?

it all counts as excercise

Have been very good all day and for dinner DH made chicken pie with veg and I ate a big plateful without pastry!!

and no wine

and not had pudding yet but I will have something good and fat free.

spottyshoes · 01/10/2007 19:48

Right, 1st day nearly over with....
Brekkie: Porridge (1/2 the usual size) with chopped fresh nectarine & raisins
11'ses: Nescafe cappuccino sachet & apple
Lunch: Small Jacket Pot with L/F Pineapple Cottage Cheese & huge salad, leaves, cuc, toms, grapes, peppers etc.
PM T: slice of L/F No sugar Banana Bread
Dinner: Hoisin Pork, Noodles, Beansprouts, Sugarsnap Peas, Courgettes, mini corns all stirfried in a smidge of olive oil.
Drinks: 6 x large glasses of water. 3 x decaf tea 1 x decaf coffee.
Exercise: 4 mile power pram walk & floor sweeping/mopping (x2 the mucky buggers!)

I'm doing Baby Lead Weaning with babyshoes and have only been at it a week so he is still only on fruit and veg thank goodness as I can also add a couple of mouthfulls of his left over banana, nectarine, avocado & cucumber throughout the day. Must learn not to eat his left overs when he moves onto more filling stuff!

Am going shopping tomorrow to get healthy stuff but also have a friend round for lunch so may be a wee bit naughty. Am also loving the sound of the mushrooms so they will defo be on the list!
Hope everyone else has been ok.

MarkStretch · 01/10/2007 19:52

Dp just got back from shopping- I asked him to buy me some healthy snack stuff and he came back with a big gorgeous berry selection tray thingy with blackberries, strawberries, redcurrants, raspberries and blueberries.

Oooooooh it looks lovely!

slimbyxmas · 01/10/2007 19:54
