Hugs Wreck.

WreckTangled · 26/07/2020 11:17

Yes you're right not it would make it worse. I think I'm going to have a day of staying low carb but not worrying about cals so much, maintenance level maybe plus a g&t later Grin did Pilates and it's helped my mood a bit. I know dh wants me to go to the park with him and the dc but I really don't want to, I'm with them every day and he's only home one day a week...

Not2bObvious · 26/07/2020 11:35

Sod that! You’ve done plenty of family time I’m sure. Stay at home & have a break, glad you’re feeling a little better and your plan sounds great for the day. Gin make make you sin😉

I hope you fort the urge to sack it off wreck. Are you sickening for something or possibly the humidity can set levels askew. Weights wool also give an increase as mess up levels.
It's shit when you are giving it your all and the scales feel like a slap in the face. You are Petit have you taken photos or measurement? You may be changing in a different way

10k steps, going to push to 15. All food hit except protein as I chose ice cream over a shake.

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/07/2020 19:50

Sorry about poor spelling in my last post.
Last 5 k steps on the spot playing candy crush

WreckTangled · 26/07/2020 19:52

I think I'm getting bigger. Maybe a phantom pregnancy Grin steps low but I did Pilates. I'm still in pain from yesterday's workout though Blush

Had steak for dinner which was good, that with some tenderstem broccoli filled me right up!

Not2bObvious · 26/07/2020 20:46

I have a carb baby flourishing hereBlush Over again, argggg, happens so easily when you’re as weak willed as me. Ate to maintenance. Planning my food in mfp, May turn out to be a work of fiction😂
Steps are good though at over 16,000.

I need to do measurements. I still haven’t done it.

Not2bObvious · 27/07/2020 08:40

Down .6 on yesterday, 160.6 - nudging towards the 150’s again. Up early for walkie talkie, just over 9,000 done. Think my mini target this week is to break a sweat with my walking, since I’m too scared of injury to run/do weights. I think my intensity levels need attention. Just finished a huge protein shake, with Greek yogurt and raspberries, 42gr protein and 6.5 of fibre. Should keep the hunger at bay for a bit

I'm not weighing again today but am going to try and be sensible food wise...

LaneBoy · 27/07/2020 10:11

Down 0.4lb - can’t deny I was expecting more after a mostly good week! But down an inch on my waist.

Well done not so close to under 160 now! (A number of which I can only dream TBH 😳)

Not2bObvious · 27/07/2020 10:31

Ahh thanks lane, not sure what you have to lose but you are really doing brilliant.
An inch off is worth way more than .4 of a pound so you may very likely see the rewards for the week next week.
I haven’t measured in a while either but there were jeans I had that gave me a 6 pack muffin top! And when I tried them on last week my gut wasn’t as overflowing😉

ememem84 · 27/07/2020 11:19

Total steps so far 907. Have been chained to laptop.

Going to dunelm at lunchtime so will try and get lost in there and have a good walkie browse.

Gym later. Parking at the faaaaaaar carpark so have to walk there and back.

Aiming for 12000 steps again everyday this week.

Not2bObvious · 27/07/2020 15:46

Good goal em
Just over 13,200 now and I’m wrecked. Maybe I need a snack to lift me up a bit, but part of me wants to hold out & maybe have a larger dinner

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/07/2020 16:51

5390 as chain to laptop. CBA for fbw. Stepping on spot. Food Bob on if I don't have a snackccident

LaneBoy · 27/07/2020 19:05

I think I found your missing period wreck 🙄😂

I have a good few stone to lose not (and well done for the jeans!) - BMI was 36.9 last week so would hope for a little more loss when I’m making a concerted effort. I guess the period could be contributing though TBF and I’m kind of hoping that was why I struggled more with hunger the last couple of days. I’ll see how I get on with 16h fasts still though as some people on the fasting thread said it actually helped with symptoms.

I need to figure out how to have my gym account unlocked so I can actually view and book sessions 😳 but in the meantime I’m determined to keep exercising at home. Apologies if TMI but I would never feel able to exercise when on before (AF is really heavy) - but since getting a cup I’ve found I can, it’s been a total game changer from pads/tampons.

ememem84 · 27/07/2020 19:08

Interesting lane I fine I feel More tired when on. So working out hurts that bit more.

I have done appallingly today.

Tomorrow is another day though

WreckTangled · 27/07/2020 19:11

Oh thanks lane Grin did another test today and negative. Obvs. So confused but also I've eaten so much crap today as I'm just feeling a bit down but I know it's a vicious circle.

LaneBoy · 27/07/2020 19:21

Ugh yes the period fatigue 😣

Wreck sorry if it’s been mentioned/checked out but there’s not a chance you might have a UTI is there? That’s the only (non baby!) thing that’s ever stopped my periods - I had none of the usual symptoms of an infection so I had no idea until I went to the GP and they tested on the off chance. He said it can happen sometimes. Was all back to normal after ABs.

WreckTangled · 27/07/2020 19:24

Hmm don't think so. The only times I've had a UTI before I've had symptoms. It's very strange especially as I'm not on any contraception (I was but was so shit at taking it I gave up and that's since we last dtd...have had period(s) since.).

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/07/2020 19:41

Yes periods make you feel more hungry. Best to allow a couple hundred over than go off it. Bitter voice of experience.
My meh is hormonal. Been for a walk now though. Still CBA with weight training

Not2bObvious · 27/07/2020 21:45

Any chance your iron levels are low wreck, I know you can hardly tell easily though! But if you look at your diet, do you think you eat iron rich foods? That could also explain tiredness etc
Only 120 steps to go. Is it ridiculous that I cannot be arsed

OP posts:
ememem84 · 27/07/2020 22:43

If you’ve come off the pill though that could be why?

Sucks that you’re going through this though.

ememem84 · 27/07/2020 22:44

Got up to 8000 steps from essentially nothing so that’s a bonus.

Chicken curry with loads of veggies and rice.

WreckTangled · 28/07/2020 06:59

Em it was the mini pill and I haven't taken it properly since feb. Took it for maybe a couple of weeks in March and that was is, no problems with cycle in that time.

Not it's always possible although I eat lots of broccoli and steak Grin

Going for a picnic today so have to try and avoid unhealthy foods. Luckily going with a friend who will also be avoiding them.
