I'm on 948. Craving something sweet but am also really bloated so think I'll regret it if I have anything. Maybe some strawberries would be ok though.

Not2bObvious · 19/07/2020 20:22

I’ve hit at least 2100, grr

Not2bObvious · 19/07/2020 20:23

Make that 2,200 - my mfp looks like a food crime sceneBlush

Oh white toast!!!! Yummmm.

I closed al three rings on my watch. That’s the goal now.

Only 9830 steps today. I am done. So tired. So am in bed.

Tomorrow starts my 12,000 steps a day mission. I’d love to do as the organised mum and try and hit 20k a day but there’s absolutely no way I’d do it. Yet.

12000 however I think is doable.

ememem84 · 20/07/2020 07:06

3983 steps already. Green ring closed on my watch. Been for a lovely early morning walk.

Had porridge with raspberries and a tea. I forgot I was meant to be intermittent fasting again...oh well. At least it was something remotely healthy.

Only another 8000 steps to go..

Should be doable today as have to grab some things from boots at lunchtime and also grab flowers for dm as it’s her and dads wedding anniversary. So will walk one end of town to boots and to the other to my favourite florist for flowers.

Will update progress later.

WreckTangled · 20/07/2020 07:11

0.2up. Same weight as three weeks ago still. Ffs. Am wearing a white thong to be sure my period arrives Grin

ememem84 · 20/07/2020 07:12

Throw some white jeans on too wreck that’ll do it!

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/07/2020 07:36

Hungry today but too many carbs yesterday. How do I fit a pic nic into 1600? Good grief

WreckTangled · 20/07/2020 07:52

Life skip breakfast? That gives you 1000 for picnic and 600 for dinner.

WreckTangled · 20/07/2020 07:53

Obviously. I'm sure you can manage that maths Blush

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/07/2020 08:48

Good idea wreck. I can't always manage the maths tbf Grin

LaneBoy · 20/07/2020 09:24

-1.8lb this week, pleased with that :) 1.6 to go and I’ll have matched my lowest this year (earlier in lockdown before I started putting on again).

Have done 8 16h fasts now, it’s not too tricky most of the time as I don’t really need to think. Oddly it’s made me more productive as I have to think of stuff to do in the mornings and evenings to distract me :o

I’ve ordered the next weights up for workouts at home (very low weights still, for lots of reps)

Not2bObvious · 20/07/2020 09:53

Excellent loss lane, my scales has jumped up just over 2lb, bye bye 150’s for a few days at least. On a couple of days off work this week so need to keep activity levels high, and junk levels low. Couple of meals out planned.
Good idea on the calorie split for the day life, makes it sound much more doable. I’ve just had wholemeal toast, egg & avocado. Still bloody hungry though, will have a protein shake for elevenses

Morning all.

Lane, that is a great loss, well done to you!
Maybe I should try this fasting thing?
I've never done it before, might have a look at it.

Dd2 and I were meant to be going out today to get some bits for holiday and some food shopping, but she didn't sleep great last night and says she feels a bit poorly, so we will go tomorrow, I don't want to do shopping with a grumpy child.
Will just pop to sainsbury's round the corner to get a few bits for today.

ChristmasSeacow · 20/07/2020 13:48

Hi all, good loss Lane, hormones are a bitch wreck, yy to white trousers Wink

I am plodding along eating pretty well but not exercising at all enough. Just not enough hours in the day. On the plus side a friend and I have arranged to have a 2:1 Pilates lesson with a local instructor - she has a studio with proper gear in . That’s next Friday. If it works out we’ll book a block of 10 Lessons and take it from there. Friend is not several stone overweight, nor a Pilates novice, so we’ll have to see how well joint lessons work!

In the meantime I’m off to bake cookies with DS but not eat any 🤞🏻

ChristmasSeacow · 20/07/2020 13:51

Ps Curvy, I’m doing the fasting thing too and I’m finding it remarkably easy - and it really helps to limit the time I even think about food, iyswim. Even without other calorie restriction or weight loss aims there’s some really interesting evidence of health benefits. Check out Michael Mosley’s writing and podcasts (might even be a programme on iPlayer)

WreckTangled · 20/07/2020 13:51

Well done lane!

Sea that sounds brilliant re the Pilates they will give you adaptations for what you can manage.

Well the white thong hasn't worked. Tomorrow I'm going to just be naked as surely that'll do it

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 20/07/2020 14:00

Yes, sorry Sea, you are and you have had really good losses too!
I need to boost my weight loss somehow.
I couldn't do the 16:8 when I'm working, as I tend to do more exercises then and need the fuel.
But as I'm off for 6 weeks I can give it a go, or even 14:10.
Thanks I will have a listen to the podcast.
And the pilates sounds good!

ememem84 · 20/07/2020 14:31

9336 steps so far....

LaneBoy · 20/07/2020 15:19

Aah thanks for the well dones! Am quite pleased. Loooong way to go but that’s as fast as I want to go really. I definitely feel less huge too :o

Interesting fact of the day: Decathlon is suffering a national shortage of dumbbells and other weights :o I wanted to try the next ones in store but there was virtually nothing.

I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence but I do feel like I have more energy the last week or so. I’ve definitely eaten less sugar but I’ve not had to deny myself anything as I just think “later” rather than “it’s not allowed” IYSWIM.

Sea I definitely agree about the not thinking about food so much! That’s really exciting about the Pilates (I am sooo bad at it though. I’d say three babies wrecked my core muscles but to be honest I’m not sure they existed to begin with) keep us posted!

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/07/2020 17:09

Great going lane slow and steady. Yy to the shortage of weights or they are ££££. I'm made up with my body pump set.

All planned out today then dd ate my sandwich while I went for a bush wee. Guested the extra one.

Will hit every thing today but not have time to do weights.

WreckTangled · 20/07/2020 19:01

Today:

Olives with cheese in a chilli dressing
Low carb chocolate protein bar (was busy at work!)

Baby bel

Birdseye pea protein burger
Roasted broccoli
Pea shoot salad with cucumber and red pepper
Mint yoghurt dip

Might have some low carb cake of 85% chocolate. Not sure yet.

Not2bObvious · 20/07/2020 20:16

Just under 1400, thinks that’s me done for the day, ran out of time to hit my macros and I’m not bothered to try now. Over 17,000 steps, still have to decide what clothes to take away. I’ll aim to eat at maintenance for the next 2 days, back to normal 1668 for Thursday - try very hard to keep to that Friday through to Sunday. There’s always a first time😂

OP posts:
ememem84 · 20/07/2020 21:12

13324 steps. Day one of 12000 done.

Food wise not brilliant. Ddads birthday so lasagne and cake and champagne for dinner. Yum.

Not2bObvious · 21/07/2020 07:13

Same as yesterday, weekend bloat wants to come away with me for the next couple of days. I’m tempted to bring my scales but I’m going to fight the urge. I always track regardless so that should be enough.
Got up at 6 for walkie talkie, nearly 6,000 - should get the other 9,000 easily over the course of the day
