Military Diet

I'm not normally a fan of quick fix diets but I've put on over a stone in lockdown and none of my clothes fit so really need a kick up the bum. My cousin did the 3 day military diet last week and lost half a stone so I'm going to give it a try starting tomorrow. Has anyone done it?
Cousin said it was tough but it has reset her appetite so she is eating less now at each meal. Sounds exactly what i need right now!
Will post here for accountability. Anyone want to join me?

You did not lose 8lbs of fat in 3 days. That's a physical impossibility. You maybe list 8lbs of fluid?

I'm sure it's partly because the last day was sooooo low on food, I wouldn't be surprised if I was a couple of pounds up if I weighed tomorrow just from having some more food in my stomach. But i do feel much better and more in control of my eating now so fingers crossed I will continue losing at a more reasonable pace.

I’m on Day 1 and ate peanut butter for the first time in decades. Boy it takes a while to eat but very filling.
You did this- I can do this.

I’m on day 3 tomorrow! I am NOT looking forward to the tin of tuna but I’m trying so hard! All I want right now is to order a big fat pizza 😩😂

@Pimms. You can substitute cottage cheese for tuna. I ate tuna today but going to substitute next meal of tuna. I don’t dislike it but it’s a bit much just on its own.

@Pimms if I lose that I’ll be happy and I definitely deserve to as I’ve not cheated and on day 3 today.
I’ve not missed my usual bottle of wine on a Friday like I thought I would. Tbh I only have 2-3 days a week without wine so I ingest a LOT of empty calories normally.
I’m definitely going to keep off the wine for 4-5 days a week going forward.

I hope your last day has gone well! I’ve not been drinking either and usually have a Malibu and coke or something so it must all definitely add up no matter how much we try to ignore that it does 🙊

I think I’ll definitely do the 3 days whenever I feel like I’ve overdone it because my bloat has gone! Even if the weight lost is all fluid it’s still made me feel lots better so far!

I’m just about to have my final meal on the 3 days. It’s been ok but must say I’m looking forward to a wine tomorrow.
I’m planning on eating meals from the Fast 800 a few days a week plus repeating these three days every week to ten days until I’m happy with the loss.
I’m T2 diabetic so it’s good for me. I’d like to lose two stone but I do strength training ,OST days so it’s size not weight that counts for me.

Well I did lose weight - - - - 4lbs 3oz
Not as much as I’d hoped especially as I’d normally have a bottle of wine and some chocolate every day. I even gave up sweeteners and milk in my coffee.
However, it’s a good loss in only 3 days and I did weight lift for two of those days (so obviously building muscle right? Hopefully).
I will enjoy a Sunday roast today but follow the Fast 800 for a few days then repeat this.

Ah just the weight loss, no muscle gain then. Oh well, it’s been good for me to see I can eat less and differently.
I had a small amount of potatoes with my Sunday dinner but last night had salmon and veg.
I’m determined to eat more healthily and will revisit the 3day military diet periodically.

Day two done and it's been fine but I did have a dime bar tonight instead of the ice cream so I'll see what the outcome is on Friday morning!

I made a mistake - I’ve not gained, I’ve lost another 1lb 12ozs so a total of 5lb 15ozs in a week.
I’m happy with that.
