-0.3lbs from Monday's weight glad I didn't record yesterday's blipping flux

Not2bObvious · 26/02/2020 06:46

That’s a fine weight for evening curvy, that’s always the thing I used to worry about, I was only short of rocking up to WW when I did it in my undies! And we had to keep our shoes on, flip flops in snow anyone😉
I’ve decided to give the scales up for lent, radical eh? I think I’ll do measurements & weekly pics for the next 6 weeks. Let’s face it, standing on it every day isn’t improving my mood right now so why not. Also my teen has become a bit of a scale jumper too so that needs nipping in the bud

I’m calling No Weighs for 40+ Days!
My waist measurement on the 5th Jan was 33.5 at around 164 pounds. So when I got down to 159-160 it was 32, now it’s 32.25 so despite the scales showing me yesterday at 163, I think it’s safe to saw that is a bit of bloated weight. Anyway I’m going to do it😬

Do it not. Scales are only one part of the picture anyway.

Not2bObvious · 26/02/2020 08:27

Yep but somehow they’ve become the whole picture for me, maybe getting shot of them for 6.5 weeks will bring some perspective for me. So the measuring tape shall suffice for now. The other thing I used to do after I had my babies was have a target item of clothes, jeans usually. I’d try them on every couple of weeks and write the date and how they fit on the label. Worked a treat!

Me too not. It's easy to get obsessive over the numbers

Not2bObvious · 26/02/2020 15:37

I wish I could be super busy every day, I’d be like a rake! Lots of running around, nearly 11,000 steps and eating has been fine. Made that satay sauce happier, I added more curry powder and I’m having it as a dipping sauce rather than putting chicken in it. Really nice, thanks for sharing

Over calories today by work snacks after a stressful day. Steps done though

Happierwithouthim · 26/02/2020 19:30

I'm under on calories today debating whether to open wine to celebrate moving in or wait until tomo for my birthday

I've had a poached egg on slim bagel, a mandarin, half a roll with tuna mayo and that's it. Bake in the bag salmon for dinner with rice and veg

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 26/02/2020 22:27

Happy moving in day happier!

Today was hard because there were lots of lovely snacks in the staff room, but I resisted, just!

Steps 12009
Food
B- cereal bar and coffee
L- soup and ryvita crackers, pear, satsuma and water.
D- beans on toast
S- banana, apple and a handful of blueberries.
I'm falling asleep on the sofa, so going to head to bed.

Not2bObvious · 27/02/2020 05:35

Happy birthday happier! Hope you have a great day & raise a glass to the start of your next chapter!

Happier, have a wonderful Birthday Cake.

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/02/2020 06:45

Happy birthday happier. X

800 up yesterday. Stupid scales also up. Stupid flapjack bites and zero restraint.

Happierwithouthim · 27/02/2020 08:16

Thanks everyone
Myself & dm floored a bottle of Valentino Pinot Grigio last night, celebrating the new beginnings!
Was in dread of scales then this morn as a result but down 0.2lbs to an even 162.
Have a few things planned for March so I'll need to be on top of my game to keep on track.

Happierwithouthim · 27/02/2020 16:45

My friend brought scones for my birthday breakfast & we both took two each home I've given mine to dm & au pair.
So I've only 444 cals left, I will be going over today, calories don't count on your birthday right?

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/02/2020 17:10

Calories have no value on your birthday. It's a true fact.

Happierwithouthim · 27/02/2020 21:43

Goats cheese salad
Choc brownie & scoop vanilla icecream
0% cider

northender · 27/02/2020 23:44

Signing back in after the holiday. Have been slack since we've been home so need to get back on it. Had takeaway pizza tonight, it was delicious but cannot continue!

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/02/2020 05:56

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/02/2020 11:56

Total carb fest this morning. At calories though

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/02/2020 20:23

400 over, loads of fibre and carbs. Fettled by a fruit scone.

Steps and fbw smashed though

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/02/2020 06:40

My weight is tracking up since January. I don't feel bad about it. I'm going to get DH to do calipers today. See if it's fat or muscle.

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/02/2020 11:09

Caliper readings tell me still 30% fat so must be starting to build muscle
