Countdown to Xmas, 15 weeks to sort our shit.

Hi, I've realised today that there is 15 weeks and a few days til Xmas and I'm yet to get my arse in gear.

Anyone want to join me in a challenge to lose the most before Christmas day?! Cannot take ANOTHER year of shying away from camera and feeling embarrassed of myself..

I'm doing okay. I can't say that I'm seeing particularly rapid progress, but I'm plodding on and hopefully heading in the right direction...
I hope you're feeling better soon Helen .
How's the smoking or hopeful lack of going Get ?
Also, what is everyone actually doing to reach their goal? I'm doing 16:8 and trying to generally cut down - it's slow, but at least it feels sustainable and fits in okay with exercise.
Come on, Ladies - we're going to be total shadows of our former selves by Christmas! Grin

I'm here! Was failing big time last week but yesterday and today is on track and feeling confident it will stick this time, still no smoking! 2 weeks yday!

I'm calorie counting and making sure I do my 10k steps a day, that will do me til I'm confident enough to dig out the gym stuff...not that I'll be going to the gym but I might do the shred dvd..

Watching bake off whilst trying to lose weight is torture!

I'm still feeling in the zone and have bought a dress for a wedding next month which is far too small so I have my work cut out!

I need a couple of new t shirts and I was considering buying size 10 with the hope that they will fit when I’ve lost some weight but I’m also nervous that they’ll never fit! I’ve got a few items lurking in my wardrobe that I’ve never worn!

Is anyone still on this thread? How are you doing?

I weighed in this morning and I’m another pound down so that feels great.

I tried on a dress from the back of my wardrobe last night and I couldn’t get all the buttons done up! So I’ve got a way to go yet!

I'm still floating about, this weekend has been a total write off though...

I'm thinking about starting slimming world again (just following from home not going to a group) maybe even buying a up to date book off eBay.. full disclosure I'm trying this whilst dh is out collecting McDonald's!

I lost 2 stone about 7 years ago...no idea what's changed and apparently there's a newer plan or something.. surely if I just did the same as before it would still work though..

I’m 11st9, I’ve lost 9lb. I’m starting to believe I’ll be smaller at Christmas! I’d love to buy some new shorts or a bikini (I’m in Australia)

Hi all, after a busy summer, I some extra lbs to lose , ideally 8 lbs .
I will be happy to join you as my motivation is not as it best! I tried several times the last weeks but didn’t give a real start yet! I ordered products, I got them but I keep eating pasta and rices: fast and easy food! I will join you to try to get back on track !

Hi, what works for me is stopping sugar, all sugars. I bought Pickslim lifestyle plan, plus some snacks to manage the day!

Is that shakes and soups? Will you see a fast weight loss with that? I don’t think I could stomach the shakes.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply, I have been off sick! The good news is that I eat almost nothing the last days so it helped me to be in condition to start my program ! I lost 3lb ! To answer your question it is a mix : I have one normal meal a day (of course a low carb and low calorie meal with proteins and vegetables) and shakes or soup for the other meal, for breakfast I like porridge. So I start today, I had a porridge this morning, I planned to have a shake for lunch, I have a bar for this afternoon just in case, and tonight I will see as I need to go to supermarket as I was off all weekend 😄. I will let you know! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Hi all,
After 1 week of my diet, I lost 3lbs! I am really satisfied ! I have been able to manage the program with no particular stress, even if I have to say that I had snacks on Thursday and Friday but low calories, so no impact. I am staring my second week today, and hope I will be back on track for end of year ! Hope everything goes well for you all!

3lbs is great! I’m losing just one pound a week at the moment. So it feels like it’s going to take ages to get slim! But I know a pound off is better than a pound on.
