Hello @TantricTwist and @DottieLottie1 ☺️

We're close to 1k on our old thread and I thought I'd start this one whilst I remember and the other one is still open so I can point you to it!

We can finish the other one first if it'll make anyone itch leaving it unfinished 😀

Here's to getting to our goal weight/sizes during this thread! 🥂 (The next one we'll be maintaining!)

If you find you're awake again in the middle of the night grab some headphones and listen to Sounds on BBC iplayer. They have lots of dramas, comedies or type in book of the week to help you drift off to sleep. I use it all the time. Half the time I fall asleep seconds or minutes into it or sometimes I'll end up listening the whole way through just depends on your level of tiredness etc. Good luck sleeping tonight.

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 21/09/2019 11:45

So my horrendous week culminated in having to take my mum's dog to be PTS yesterday.

It's been a really terrible week and the diet has suffered. But on Monday I'll be right back on it.

Seer · 21/09/2019 11:50

I'm so sorry that you're struggling to sleep @DottieLottie1 Are you ruminating on problems or just finding yourself too awake to fall back to sleep?

Oooh exciting times @TantricTwist Will you stay in the area (are you in/near the city beginning with B?)

Having a nice slow start morning here tho not entirely lazy as I've submitted an article that I've been procrastinating on for two months. Feel v proud of myself for that! I'm now taking a long hot bath, and then I'm hosting have another one of my bread and crafts evenings 😉 so will need to start getting me, the house and garden ready. Soooo lucky with the weather!

B: olive bread with v cheese
L: fast or light snack
D: bread! And dips, marinated veg etc.

Suspect it'll be a 1500 cal day due to all the bread!

I think I won't see a weight loss this week as I've only got one more day to see a drop, I'm expecting it'll register next week instead tho so I'm not feeling too glum about it.

Have a lovely day all 🌞

Thanks everyone 😊

MrsGrindah · 21/09/2019 19:34

Just dropping in to say I’m sorry you have had a sad week Ghast. Be kind to yourself.

I’m still away and eating far too much crap! Thursdays weigh in going to be interesting...but we will keep on keeping on!

Seer · 22/09/2019 10:23

Morning all ☺️

The 'bread and crafts' evening 😉 went beautifully so I'm feeling all pleased with myself this morning!

Oh and someone asked if I lost weight 😮

Got a lazy day planned today. Dh and dd are off to watch football so it's just me and ds, which makes a nice change as usually one-to-one time is the other way around.

Other than a friend coming over at some point, I'm not planning on doing much.

B: v cooked breakfast
L: nothing
D: no idea - might take ds out for something

Will aim for 1200 cals.

I was right that I haven't lost any weight this week but I'm surprisingly relaxed about it. Plateaus are to be expected, especially at this point.

How are you all today? ☺️

DottieLottie1 · 22/09/2019 11:11

Morning 🙂

Better nights sleep so that's a positive. Managed to build DS bed yesterday evening, he has chosen carpentry as one of his options so was quite handy with a drill! TV/Media bench will be put together this afternoon. This morning I will be watching DS competing I his sport. Already made a lasagne with DD this morning for our dinner tonight. Other than that and a dog walk will have a lazy evening.

B- fast
L-Fast
D- Lasagne with spinach

@MyGhastIsFlabbered hope your feeling ok after such a testing week.

Have a good day everyone.

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 22/09/2019 11:20

Yes I'm ok. Dreading weighing in tomorrow but I've got to get onto it again.

TantricTwist · 22/09/2019 17:15

Taking it easy today apart from ferrying DC around - I'll be starting at the gym next week so I'm looking forward to lots of leisurely swimming - I can swim for miles at a time and find it so relaxing I can't wait - crap I've just realised I need to dye my roots which will cause a swimming dilemma - why oh why didn't I do it last week

@Seer I'll be staying local I just want to upsize. Glad your crafts evening went well

@DottieLottie1 glad you're sleeping better now, hope you're feeling better too

TantricTwist · 22/09/2019 17:25

Panic over - I'm away next weekend so will do it just before I leave

Not eaten much today other than a bacon baguette, apple, grapes and a few poppy seed crackers.

DottieLottie1 · 23/09/2019 09:41

Morning all 🙂

Woke early this morning but I'm still I bed after shooing the DC out the door off to school. Had a couple of cups and sorted out a few Bill's, policies and cancellations, I'm on top of my life admin 😉. Will be up and out shortly as I have a car load of stuff to dump (DS old bed/mattress and umpteen other things) so off to the dump. I have a DH for this sort of thing (I know, I know!) but it needs gone and ge is working g today whereas I'm not.

Once I'm back from the delight if the dump I need to complete some finishing touches I DSs room. Then a nice long dog walk at lunchtime. I need to do our weekly food shop too or my diet will turn into starvation!

B- A few cups of tea

L- Vanilla and almond milkshake and some fruit

D- pesto tagliatelle with salami, goats cheese and olives

Should be a 1000 cal day.

Any Interesting plans?

Hope everyone has a good day 😊

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 23/09/2019 10:53

Well somehow I've managed to lose again over the last 2 weeks. Now 79.6 kg so in the next weight 'band'. Not eaten anything yet, bloody starving though! But determined to stick at it now. I imagine I might gain next week due to all the crap I've eaten recently but onwards and upwards.

DottieLottie1 · 23/09/2019 12:13

That's great @MyGhastIsFlabbered, well done. Obviously stress may have played a part, but the scales have gone in the right direction.

TantricTwist · 23/09/2019 14:42

Well done @MyGhastIsFlabbered bet that feels good, yay.

@DottieLottie1 I quite like doing all the physical round the house stuff, more fun than cleaning, and feels like more of an achievement.

I went to the gym today. I had a lovely swim then joined in with the aqua aerobics class which was great fun then carried on swimming afterwards so spent in total an hour and a half in the pool. I feel so good for doing it. It was a nce gentle start.
Tomorrow however I'm stepping things up a bit. I'm booked in for a spin cycle class Shock which will do me right in I'm sure Grin.

Wednesday I'm booked in for Body Attack. Thursday Yoga. Friday Cycle again or body pump. Saturday Step. Sunday Yoga or step. Monday Body balance or body pump.

Lots of things were already booked up for the week so I booked onto some things which no doubt I'll cancel as my legs will be like jelly and just swim. I kind of go into a meditative trance when I swim and I just keep going till suddenly I've had enough not because I'm tired out.

B - Banana
L - A pistachio pudding pot and coffee
D - Roast chicken dinner.

DottieLottie1 · 23/09/2019 15:06

Wow @TantricTwist your on an exercise roll there! How do/will you got it all in? I know your work hours have changed but still curious. I just wouldn't get the time but also saying that i work in a leisure centre (therefore I in theory also get a small discount on classes) so have no desire to hang around after my shift finishes.

TantricTwist · 23/09/2019 15:12

Ha yes it does look a bit bonkers @DottieLottie1 I have most of the next 2 weeks off plus classes go on all day into the evening too. I want to try out different classes so I know what to book on in the future. It won't be anything like this in a couple of weeks probably go for a swim a few times a week straight after work and do some classes and swimm on my days off.

DottieLottie1 · 23/09/2019 15:15

Ahhh, exercise trial and error!

Sounds like you will but enjoy your time off work 😊

TantricTwist · 23/09/2019 15:25

I really loved it today. There is of course also the normal gym there which I can go to anytime and then swim straight after which is less hassle than doing the classes and I can do whenever I feel like it. But I do like the music in the classes, reminds me of my clubbing days and just makes me smile Smile through the pain >>feel the burn

TantricTwist · 23/09/2019 19:11

Bloody hell I ate a lot at dinner Grin. I had tons of chicken, corn on the cob, potatoes and a couple of Yorkshire puddings followed by a GU Zillionaire pudding and a glass of red. I'm nice and full which I never normally get to but I do feel satisfied. Nothing else food wise will be passing my lips tonight that's for sure.

Seer · 23/09/2019 19:36

Belated check in today! Have been haring around all day and only just had a chance to stop, read and post.

Excellent news @MyGhastIsFlabbered ! You're doing so well!

That sounds amazing @TantricTwist! Hope you discover some classes you really enjoy there.

Sounds like you've been super productive lately @DottieLottie1 !

Viewed a potential secondary school for ds earlier which I loved but has really put a spanner in the works as it's not that local to us (the irony being is that I live in a town of amazing schools including two that are considered as being amongst the best in the country Hmm) Now frantically researching transport options whilst also hoping my heart changes its mind and goes for an easier option! Grin

Other than that have done the usual: work, school runs, shopping, dog walk and dinner.

B: fast:
L: my usual low cal miso, veg and dumplings. Couple of squares of dark chocolate.
D: v chicken & salad in wraps, handful fries, corn cob.

Ending on 962 cals. I've had several sub-1K cals days lately so I really won't be happy if I don't see a loss this week!

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 23/09/2019 21:07

@Seer yes I know those schools. Is the other school between you and me by any chance?

MrsGrindah · 23/09/2019 21:35

Work mad today...ended up with less than 1000 calls but no chance to exercise. Need to get a grip before Thursday weigh in.You are all putting me to shame

DottieLottie1 · 24/09/2019 07:37

Morning!

@MrsGrindah if your consuming less than 1000 calories then you should lose regardless of exercise. I still suggest you try and fit some in where you can as it's good for both body and mind 😉.

My plans for today are going to be scratched due to torrential rain. I'll probably be kind and drop the DC to school so they don't arrive looking like drowned rats. Will catch up on some housework (woohoo) and take dog out later come rain or shine. Think I will catch a cheesy movie this arvo. This evening I have to chauffeur DS to his training session in the small town sandwiched between our larger ones @Seer.

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L-Fast
D- Jacket potato with pineapple cottage cheese and huge side salad
S- Blueberries

Should be a low one, 850 cals.

TantricTwist · 24/09/2019 08:03

This rain is relentless. I'm also driving DC to school this morning although poor old DS has PE outside and it won't be cancelled, eek.

I've changed my morning class to a different one this afternoon as do not want to drive any more in this rain than I have to.
