Following on from previous themread and on the lovely @VivaFridas behalf I welcome you all to half a stone off for June!

Welcome to all and good luck for the month ahead. I hereby promise to inject a little enthusiasm into each morning and stay away from the Greggs Vegan rolls.

Old and new joiners welcome, whatever diet or exercise plan you are following. All I ask for is positivity towards others even if we are feeling a bit meh about ourselves.

Who's in and ready for day 1 tomorrow!

Fell off the wagon abit today, meals were good but I’ve had some snacks...crisps mainly. Finishing the day on 1600, probably burned 200ish at the gym as I was having a bad session!
Tomorrow’s a new day.

cricketmum84 · 13/06/2019 21:56

Well my shoulder is still twinging like mad. Sat fine for 5 mins and all of a sudden I've gone down like a Man U player in the penalty area 😂😂

Yes it's a pretty big transformation for me, I do get people noticing. You know what really winds me up though?? My MIL is obsessed with weight, to the point where she will tell me wether she's 8 stone or 8 stone 2 every.single.day. She stalks my Facebook so knows that I've lost almost 5 stone but you know what? She hasn't mentioned it once!

Have stuck within points again today and am not going to weigh again until next Thursday morning so hopefully if I can kick myself I'll have a loss. Also planning on getting up early Saturday and Sunday and using my free gym membership!!!!!

Flowers for you @Wellthatwastricky

I found my first little slip-up really difficult to deal with too. I felt like I’d failed completely and was worried I’d never be disciplined enough to start again. None of that turned out to be true!

You’re doing the right thing in taking a step back. Look after yourself!

lightlypoached · 14/06/2019 05:52

Met up with friends last night. Wine , lasagna and salad and the most divine chocolate cake with strawberries.

Yum.

Despite this I think overall it's been a good balanced week.

Last day ever at secondary school for my younger child so it's all going to be a bit emosh.

Have a good day everyone Smile

Howlongtillbedtime · 14/06/2019 05:54

Morning
Today is weigh in day and I have lost another 3 pounds Grin
I am very happy with that.
Just need to keep it up now. My usual pattern is to have a great week or two and then everything goes to shite.
Am out tonight at a friend's so will have to watch the snacks.

Plan today is
Veggie bolognese for lunch
Souo for dinner as I know I will end up eating more snacks later than I should.

Good luck everyone for today.

cricketmum84 · 14/06/2019 07:25

Good morning! Happy Friday and welcome to ❤️ Day 14 ❤️

I've noticed a lot of us weigh in at this time of the week and I love seeing all the losses rolling in! For those of us who have gained or STS (that's me) take 10 mins to look back over the week. I had 2 days where I didn't track and had more wine than usual as I've been stressed. I don't think my daily latte is helping either so I'm going to make my own iced latte on a morning and take it with me to work.

A friend posted the image below on Facebook last night and it's really stuck with me. I've felt like this so many times over the last couple of weeks and the positive image of blooming is going to stick with me!

Hope the poorly ones amongst us are starting to feel a little better.

Today will be:
B - bran flakes with a little coconut milk (carton not tinned lol)
L - 2 poached duck eggs with spinach
D - were supposed to be going out for tea but I've got DS refusing to go to school and DD is poorly so we won't be going. Probably a position of chickpea curry from the freezer!

Much love - hope you all have a wonderful day!

Half a stone off (or 3kg) in June

@Howlongtillbedtime amazing well done!!!

@lightlypoached aw that's a huge milestone! Pack the tissues lol

@LeukaeLucky oh god chicken kebabs are the only things I really really miss as a veggie!! They are usually pretty low in fat though aren't they. At least it wasn't a doner 😂

@Wellthatwastricky that sounds like a good idea, focus on getting yourself well!! Your body is very good at telling you what it needs.

@Crazzzycat sending a hand hold. I know just how hard it is to manage anxiety when you are travelling and away from home, it's one of the hardest things for me. Look after yourself. I find having a water bottle and taking little sips of water can calm me sometimes, I think it helps me to regulate my breathing.

@DeadButDelicious fabulous work :)

Morning all! Not sure if I have scales where I am staying this weekend so my weigh in for today is 78.6kg - only a 0.4kg loss which I am trying not to be frustrated by, but I am used to seeing a weekly 1kg loss at this point. It’s still a loss and I won’t be defeatist about it!

Not too sure what today holds as I am away until Sunday but I am work most of the day so can eat a healthy breakfast and lunch. Just need to avoid train snacks this evening!

Good luck to everyone weighing in, you’ve all been doing really well so keep it up!!!

LeukaeLucky · 14/06/2019 07:46

@cricketmum84 I should probably have added doner 😂😂 but I only ate half and brought the other half home to my daughter

cricketmum84 · 14/06/2019 07:52

@LeukaeLucky haha oops!!! Well done on having the willpower to leave half though!

The last time I had a doner kebab before going vegetarian I had been eating very very low fat for a fair few months, hadn't had a kebab in ages, wolfed down half of one and was promptly violently sick. I felt awful for days.

Weighed in 0.4kg loss. Was hoping for more, but it’s in the right direction. Total loss this month 2.4kg so can’t complain. Did a Zumba class last night, came home and ate berries.
Really busy weekend planned so I won’t get much exercise in. Also have a buffet breakfast tomorrow (all you can eat) and a trip to the cinema. Already decided to get a small popcorn, but will keep my sensible head on for the breakfast.
Have a good day everyone.

LeukaeLucky · 14/06/2019 08:03

I do feel bloated
My stomach is not enjoying that at all

Vebrithien · 14/06/2019 08:19

Happy Friday all!
Feeling pretty rough, waiting for the antibiotics to kick in.
Have just managed some scrambled eggs but think I'll stick to soup and jelly for the rest of the day.
DD has her toddler swimming lessons today, really looking forward to the warm water!

waveygravy · 14/06/2019 09:08

Happy Friday! Weighing in with 0.6kg lost this week, not as good as first week due to blow out birthday dinner but still moving in right direction. Total lost this month 2kg.

Struggling with eating low calorie and exercise. Only managed an hour at allotment yesterday as was so hungry. How do other people do it?

LooseAtTheSeams · 14/06/2019 09:36

Hello - sending Thanks to those who aren't well. I had friends round last night and weakly drank wine but managed to avoid the other treats. Think I've got away with it so far. If it hadn't been for this thread I'd probably have given up but you are all very motivating!
I'm going to yoga tomorrow for the first time in a while - the tendonitis has finally gone for good, thank god because I was getting really fed up with it.

snooksmcgee · 14/06/2019 10:07

Starting weight 1st June: 16st 3lbs
Todays weight: 15st 12lbs

So I have managed to lose 5lbs already this month which I am really happy with, but I expect the weight will stay the same for a while now though as I am rubbish at sticking to a diet during the weekends.

LeukaeLucky · 14/06/2019 11:36

Hi
Didn't weight in this morning but good start of the day so far with 45 min of float Fit
Followed by a salad and Spanish omelette with bread for lunch
Friday is often synonymous with take away so will probably have Macdonald because of the kids
Any reasonable choice on their menu?
Lunch is meant to be 440 calories and float flit is about 400 cal
So I have room for a cheeky dinner

Millie2018 · 14/06/2019 12:18

waveygravy - I must admit I have been feeling a bit faint on occasion, but I’ve started making sure I eat a banana about an hour before exercising, which has helped.

Lookingforpizza · 14/06/2019 12:27

@LeukaeLucky the website has a really good breakdown of the nutrition content for McDonald’s. A lot of the stuff isn’t as bad as you would expect, but doesn’t fill you up really... I could really go for a double cheeseburger right now...

LeukaeLucky · 14/06/2019 12:30

@Lookingforpizza thanks will browse and plan to avoid a CALostrophe

Fluffiest · 14/06/2019 14:31

Hello all, I have been off the wagon a few days now. Threw myself into the holiday eating and drinking after a particular draining day with DD who was whinging from morning till bedtime.

Travelling home today but from tomorrow I am jumping back on it. Will weigh myself in the morning. I am expecting to be back at square one or worse but I know now that I can lose weight when I put the effort in, so hopefully won't be too discouraged.

The good news is that I've still done some form of exercise each day and a lot of walking about on our outings.

Well done to everyone losing!

cricketmum84 · 14/06/2019 15:48

Oh dear I have just completely lost my shit over 4 pans. May need a gin.

Am trying to WFH with DD (10) off sick and DS (14) refusing. They have driven me insane talking at me, mainly both at the same time, playing loud music (DS), needing food and water.

I've just asked DD to tidy around the living room and put some things away which she did. I asked DS to wash 4 pans. 4 pans!!! And he just went "no that's disgusting". Outright refusing to do it. And he's got me over a barrel because as soon as I start dishing out punishments he runs away. I actually could have screamed. I almost threw one of the pans at him.

He has such a good life though, hot cooked meals, I run around after him constantly, he gets more than his allocated amount of pocket money Cos there's always the hand out needing extra Cos he's spent up.

God I'm such a ducking pushover aren't I??

Ugh anyway, rant over, as you were 😳

Vebrithien · 14/06/2019 15:52

Oh cricket that sounds so tough. Can't give any advice, but am here and listening, if you need to rant!

LeukaeLucky · 14/06/2019 16:31

Flowers @cricketmum84

Lookingforpizza · 14/06/2019 18:57

Flowers @cricketmum84 I wouldn’t blame you for having a gin.
