I had all the right intentions but dd decided I didn't need to sleep and I ate my way through it instead.

I have 15 weeks til a mini holiday so aim to lose a lb a week minimum by then.

Does anyone want to join in? I'm planning on calorie counting but might possibly turn to slimming world if I can't stay on track after a few weeks.

Go for it, it can't do any harm can it.

That's an amazing loss prison and impressive to not give up when the scales don't move!

So today is my usual hurdle, dd has been up 4 times during the night and up since 5am, I'm so tired I can already feel the crave. And I work evenings so knowing I won't get home til midnight makes it even harder Confused

I am keto and I workout 7 days a week. It’s not always been easy but the changes in my body and my genera happiness are enough to keep me going

Helloooo! Can I join in please?

I've lost 3st so far by following the no-s diet and upping my exercise, but have plateaued for ages and I need some motivation and accountability to lose the last few lb.

Itsnotalwaysfair · 04/02/2019 21:52

Beela I like that no s diet too. I don't often keep to it but I find it a good guideline to not go too crazy. Having said that Today I ate
cereal for breakfast and 2 cherry liqueur chocolates.
Lentil carrot Soup and some fried left over potatoes for lunch.
An apple and 3 biscuits mid afternoon.
Rice mixed with some fried up tomatos, bacon bits, mushrooms, peas onions and garlic and a small cup of carrot lentil soup.

To drink tea with sugar. Coffee with sugar and water.

So tomorrow I'll try and up the vegetables, reduce the sugar and forego the afternoon biscuits and post breakfast chocolates. Ffs. What was I thinking. I managed 9000 steps which is more than usual.

@missedit how did you get on today
@prison wow. That's some discipline and great result

I was pretty crap on food today had a shit morning as dd was up 3 times for 30-45 mins a time during the night then up for the day at 5.30. Then drew on the walls and terrorised Sainsburys so by the time I got her calm and settled I was starving and scoffed a lot of gingerbread. I've done 14k steps today and will be a bit stricter tomorrow to make up for it. Still pleased I didn't give up for the day and binge as that's my usual pattern.

No s? As in anything beginning with s? No salad?! Grin

Can I join? My weight is just stuck at around 14stone. My friend is on a soup diet and lost 11lbs in a week. My other has lost a stone in a month through low carb. I feel like crap, constipated which I think is due to period due, only eating one main meal but nothing changes. My plan is to get through the leftover rice in the next two days, then try low carb and or soup days and see if this makes a dent. Every one seems to be losing but me

beela · 05/02/2019 07:09

missedit no s is no snacks, no seconds, no sweets (desserts) except sometimes on days beginning with s.

www.nosdiet.com.

You can basically eat whatever you want, as long as you stick to three plates a day. Totally worked for me. No counting or weighing or anything, and you can eat the same as the rest of your family. It's not a quick fix but it is sustainable.

bella1426 · 05/02/2019 08:24

Oooh can I join please? Have 2 stone of baby weight to lose by the summer. Have lost over 1.5 stone already but January was a crap month! Was doing low carb and got complacent with measures of high calorie dairy and portion sizes I think and just not tracking. Back onto MFP and calorie counting instead of low carb. Aiming to eat 1500 calories per day and burn 2500. (Fitbit tracking, am on mat leave and v active) need to get my act together and shift 7lbs this month to stay on track!

BeekyChitch · 05/02/2019 09:19

I would love to join! My goal was a lousy 6lbs and couldn't even manage that!!! I'm starting the gym with a friend this week- I travel a lot so my eating is all over the place. I have about 2 stone in total to lose. 3 stone if I want to get back to me 3 years ago but happy with 2. Feeling miserable as well

Low carb works best for me but I just bloody love bread! Envyanyone else?!

ToEarlyForDecorations · 05/02/2019 12:29

Low carb works best for me but I just bloody love bread! anyone else?!

Yep, I love bread. My binges are usually bread related. I just keep spreading margarine on another slice and another and another. I daren't buy fresh bread, that will just disappear.
It's a treat on a Sunday to get French bread to go with lunch. You see, the, 'beauty' of MyFitnessPal (MFP) is that it will tell me how many million, gazillion calories there are in French Bread. Oh there, can't be that many I used to tell myself, it's only flour. As I buttered or more correctly, margarined another slice of it. I'll finish off the rest of the loaf, that's my problem. Getting reacquainted with my, 'full' signal from my stomach is part of what I do Paul McKenna's 'I can make you slim' hypnotherapy/minfullness download for.

Good luck everyone with your dieting endeavours.

Prymatt · 05/02/2019 15:30

Please can I join you all?

I would like to lose 3 stone, (1 of which I have lost & gained several times in 2018!)

I went totally to pot over xmas & during January...haven't jogged or Gym'd for 6 weeks and feel utterly crap.

Started yesterday, plan to go low calorie for February to kick start me off. Taking it one day at a time and drinking plenty of water.

Any tips or motivation very much welcome!Grin

How is everyone getting on?

Pinkvici22 · 07/02/2019 11:16

Weigh in for me tomorrow. I’ve been pretty good but not perfect! Keeping up 10000 steps a day and trying to do an exercise class 3x pw.

Eesha · 07/02/2019 15:19

Hello peeps, I'm back on my lowish carb diet, so baked a load of chicken with aubergine, courgette, carrot, parsnip and so will have that with a bit of hummus. Making a big effort not to scoff the kids treats so giving it right to them and remembering their happy faces. Drinking 3l water and doing more walking, feeling a lot better for it so hopefully translates onto scales.....

Pinkvici22 · 08/02/2019 18:34

Had my Friday weigh in...
3lbs off! I’m delighted. 10lbs in total since 1st Jan, 3 for Feb...would love to lose another 4 in Feb

macmacaroon · 08/02/2019 18:41

I'm on can't seem to break my habit of eating chocolate and snacking loads plus big meals am a whale

MissedIt · 08/02/2019 19:42

Pink that's fab well done!

I totally forgot to weigh myself but I've not been behaving at all anyway. It's lady time and I've been having a nightmare week. I just can't seem to stop using food as as coping thing when I'm stressed. Angry

Pinkvici22 · 10/02/2019 18:37

Thanks Missed - sadly since weigh day I’ve had some terrible news and have reverted back to comfort eating. It’s like an ongoing cycle where I self sabotage. I’m really going to try to get back to it tomorrow.

How’s everyone else doing?

EndGoal · 11/02/2019 23:38

Hi, can I join? Will weigh in morning for a starting point but I need to get my arse in gear, have been saying for years I'm unhappy with my weight but then never doing anything about it.

BeekyChitch · 12/02/2019 16:27

I've joined the gym! Currently getting myself psyched up to go to my second spin class tonight and another tomorrow! Grin

I'm going away for the weekend at the end of March, after all my exams and I'm hoping to have lost 1 stone by then - that's do able right???

EndGoal · 12/02/2019 19:22

That would be brutal but just about do able!

Well done joining the gym how did u find the spin class? I've bought a cross trainer but struggling to find the time to get on it. (Yes that sounds like an excuse)

Prymatt · 13/02/2019 14:51

Well done everyone- some great losses.

Had okay-ish week, wine and pancakes over the weekend so cheated a little. But have been logging and weighing portions which has kept me in check.

Not weighed in yet - but have done 4 cardio gym sessions and a 4k run. After a bit of reading up I have started doing some weight training, so may not convert on the scales so going to measure myself to see if I loose CM rather than Kg's. My denim skirt felt a little looser this morning, but may have been kidding myself Wink

Goal is to fit in Size 12 jeans by Easter Weekend - I'm a 'snug' 14 at the moment.

BeekyChitch · 14/02/2019 20:54

@EndGoal spin was great! I've been to the gym 3x this week and I feel a lot better for it! Have also been using my fitness pal to track food so I'm hoping a wee 2lb loss on Monday when I weigh myself so fingers crossed Grin
