Anyone starting a new diet tomorrow? Want to be diet buddies? Im 14st7lb my heaviest ever at 5ft4. Need some motivation and willpower. Going to be doing meal substitution with shakes twice a day to kickstart my diet. Was meant to start early in January but it didn’t happen and I’ve slipped. Will be doing My Fitness Pal too.

Im defo lazy, don't worry!

Bought my baby's first pair of shoes today 💙 he had a physio appointment and they suggested we get them for him. He's got some super cute navy Roamers from Clarks.

We celebrated in Pizza Express. We did however share a pizza, dough balls and a mixed salad, so not horrendous! Enchiladas for dinner 😋 have also done 14k steps...

TinselAndKnickers · 12/03/2019 17:59

Aww can we get a pic of the little feet in shoes please?! They are so cute Grin

Oh wow that's loads of steps - well done! Enchiladas sounds yummy and so does your lunch. I have eaten a few biscuits today Blush and out for Mexican tomorrow!

I've done fuck all today - probably not even 3000 steps as I've just been doing uni work.

YouBoggleMyMind · 12/03/2019 19:47

I decided on a glass of red to celebrate my lovely boy and my lovely day 🍷

TinselAndKnickers · 12/03/2019 20:17

Awww that is so cute. Lovely! Just want to eat them Grin enjoy it! Wine

recklessgran · 12/03/2019 20:34

Ah, bless his little heart. You made it - your dear little baby has his first shoes! That is a big deal given all you have been through so enjoy your well deserved glass of wine @YouBoggle and be proud!
Have stayed on track today with soup for lunch, chicken salad for dinner and numerous cups of tea otherwise. I fear it will be a gain for me tomorrow on weigh day but I'm expecting it and not surprised at all given all my transgressions of the last week.
Never mind - back on the wagon until the next time - that is crucial to the plot - getting back on isn't it?

YouBoggleMyMind · 12/03/2019 20:49

Thank you ☺️
What a difference a year makes!

YouBoggleMyMind · 12/03/2019 21:03

I am defo not expect a loss tomorrow either. Been a 🐷 at the weekend x

TinselAndKnickers · 12/03/2019 21:09

I weighed this morning and even after my piggish bloody weekend I have managed to maintain! But tomorrow morning will tell GrinBlush

YouBoggleMyMind · 12/03/2019 21:12

TinselAndKnickers · 12/03/2019 21:46

That's so good!!! Well done Boggle 😻

TinselAndKnickers · 13/03/2019 09:07

Andddd.. a maintain!!! God knows how I have pulled that off but I won't complain Grin hope everyone has a great day. I'm off for Mexican food tonight and going to have a huge burrito, so trying to damage control massively this morning 🌯

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/03/2019 09:34

I've also maintained at 12st 5lbs and I'm pretty happy with that. I'm so so glad to be off the ADs, there's no way I wouldn't have gained if I'd still been on them!

Well done Tinsel 🙌🏻

recklessgran · 13/03/2019 10:37

Weigh day Wednesday and it's a tiny gain for me.
Last week 13 st 5.25 lbs
Today 13 st 5.5lbs.
So, a quarter of a pound gain which is better than I thought and I actually got off lightly all things considered.
Will really have to focus if I want to achieve my initial goal of a stone off by the end of March. That means that I have 4.5lbs to go so can't afford any more slip ups.
Back on the wagon and tied on with a big fuck off rope!!
Well done you two - we can do this and in any case it's a great little support group we have here. Will update later - have a good day.

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/03/2019 16:19

My Fitbit broke 😩 have ordered a new one which will come tomorrow.

Ham egg and chips for dinner and off to the cinema to see Captain Marvel 😁

TinselAndKnickers · 13/03/2019 17:10

Oh no what happened?!

Well done everyone - a naughty weekend but we still all did really well! ❤️

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/03/2019 22:47

Dunno! It's just turned off and not holding a charge. It's ok I got a new one coming tomorrow. Nicer and slim line.

TinselAndKnickers · 13/03/2019 22:56

Ohhhh well lucky you! I want a Fitbit but I'm too poor at the moment Grin I had a huge fuck off burrito for dinner - tomorrow is going to be a longgggggg fast.

How was your day ladies?! Brew

recklessgran · 13/03/2019 23:20

Evening all. Been good today - 2 slices of baby wholemeal Warburtons with laughing cow light for lunch and chicken salad with coleslaw for dinner. Got to stick with this 800 calories 16;8 thing if I'm not going to exercise. Luckily been really busy with work today and mummy calls to DDs 3 and 5 this evening so that was a good distraction and I haven't felt hungry or thought about food today. One day down!
Planning a slow cooker chicken curry for tomorrow as I am so fed up with salad. It will be a dessert bowl sized portion for me though and I will have soup for lunch to save calories for dinnertime.I think DH is fed up with having a different meal to me hence why I have salad as it's easy to prep when I've cooked a full on meat and three veg for him. Lucky sod has a massive dinner and often 2 desserts every day and is perfect in every way!

TinselAndKnickers · 13/03/2019 23:48

Well done - you are doing so great! The way you talk about your family is so lovely, it really warms my heart 🥰

recklessgran · 14/03/2019 00:26

Ahh thanks @Tinsel that means a lot actually as there is a massive back story. Very unhappy childhood with abusive parents to the point that I wished with all my heart that I could live in a children's home. Left home asap to train as a nurse and lived in the hospital. Met lovely DH on a blind date and felt loved for the first time ever. Married after 8 months with the ambition of having lots of DCs to love. First DD born with very rare genetic syndrome and not expected to live long. Genetic counselling advised too risky so no more babies for us. We ignored this and went on to have a further 4 DD's, thankfully all alive and well. It hasn't been easy and DD1 still has a lot of problems but lives independently with support and is the heart of our very close and happy family. I count my blessings every day and am so proud of my darling girls. I had no idea that this showed in my posts!

TinselAndKnickers · 14/03/2019 00:32

Oh stop it I've gone all gooey and got a lump in my throat!!Grindon't know why though, I'm usually a grumpy old cowWink

That's so lovely and so refreshing to hear. I'm pleased your DD is managing to live a good life, although sorry about your childhood. I can understand that to some extent though Thanks

Thank god there's no ice cream in the house - if there was I'd be scoffing it and crying Grin

recklessgran · 14/03/2019 00:41

Shit, sorry @Tinsel didn't mean to upset you! Don't worry I have everything I could possibly wish for and more and never forget that the trials we go through make us the person we are today. You can always tell people that haven't had any crap in their lives I find - they've got no time for anyone and are always as selfish as anything.
My mother comes to mind.......

TinselAndKnickers · 14/03/2019 01:09

You haven't upset me you narna, I'm only joking Grin it's so nice to hear someone genuinely happy.

Yes I would agree with that - people who've never known hardship or have everything handed to them on a plate are bloody oblivious twats I find! Soon we will be slim and sexy and also lovely people and able to rub it in everyone's faces WinkGrinWineCake

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/03/2019 14:28

Hi ladies, DS is coldy and we're off to Cornwall for a long weekend tomorrow morning. FIL lives there and we've not been to visit since before DS was born (they come up here relatively regularly). We are defo going to get a curry tonight and McDonald's breakfast on the toad tomorrow 😁
