Fuck, it’s too late to back out isn’t it?

I’m fat. Very fat. Shortly before Christmas a friend approached me and asked if I’d like to join her at her slimming club in the new year. I know she was hinting that I need to tackle it because it’s true! My first session is Friday. I’ve just hopped on the scales to prepare myself and it’s much worse than I’d imagined- 18st+.

I really can’t let my lovely friend know I weigh that much. I’m truly mortified. It’s too late to back out isn’t it? Sad

I think you will be surprised Georgie, loads of people at my group and consistent 2/3lb losses a week where as others would put on 10lbs in a week and then lose it all in a week. Just stick at it and you will see the losses I’m sure Smile

First week is the best loss for some of us because we drank a pint of tea before weighing that week, then every week since weighed in our most lightweight clothing :)

I did SW a few years ago.
Sometimes I lost 1lb and then on some other weeks I lost 5lb.
It was completely random, even though I was following the schedule.
Also, you are new to the plan and learning what you can and can't eat so that also takes some adjustment.
I found the diet fairly easy and the magazine is quite inspiring!
Best of luck!
