Hi Sue. Just saw you and DS on some of Paddlechick's pics of the Mile for Maude - bet it was fun, in a bittersweet way. Your DS is still as cute as ever.

suejonez · 12/05/2007 22:17

it was fun, I couldn't think too much about Maude as it chokes me up - when you have childrne a similar age it just gets to you doesn't it. DS was sleeping very very quietly night and I had to stand right over him for a minute or so before I could hear him breathing. I'm not particularly paranoid generally but I guess its been on my mind.

Oh we must arrange another meet up. I have Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday off the weeks of 5th and 12th of August. How about one of those days? How about we try for picnic either in Oxford or a London Park near a good tube line like Green Park?

I know what you mean - the pics on the MFM gallery of the roses in the water really got to me too.

Meeting up in August sounds good to me. I think if it was going to be a London one, I'd probably just try to bring DD, and not DS, but would bring both if it was Oxford.

JackieNo · 12/05/2007 22:24

Oh, and I really, really will try to get round to posting those clothes for DS next week. It's been a bit hectic at work, and DH is away (again - diving in Malta - OK for some). Diet/healthy eating/whatever has gone to to pot. But I hope to be back on-message soon.

suejonez · 12/05/2007 22:24

lets agree a date first then we can arrange a venue

Are an of you planning to go to the MN meet in London on 29th July?

suejonez · 13/05/2007 09:39

yes I am, I'll see you there. Its hyde park isn't it which is pretty easy for me to get to 40 mins and one easy tube change.

Oooooh a wedding crown.I like that, thank you sooo much.

I have been very "good" today eating wise.Have done loads of housework, did a baby-sign language workshop(for my childminding) and did an hour and a half at the gym so no time to cook tea.So we are having an Indian carryout.I deserve it!!!

Hope i lose 2lbs this week and then i will have a stone to go.DH thinks i should stop now as he feels i look beautiful just how i am.I think he's being truthfull but part of me still wants to get to my target weight.

Anyhow off to lay table, girls in bed sound asleep so just DH,the ds's and me tonight for dinner.Bliss with no little pests at the table lol.

Have a good night all xx

I think I'm rejoining.....
was at pre-pregnancy weight last THursday so will email with progress this Thursday (well, my Thursday). eating quite erratic - but don't think I am overeating - one advantage of 2 small children who get v.bored in shops is that there's no time to go and buy bad food on a whim!

saw the pics of you and Daniel Sue, lovely . I wish I could come to a meetup . However, if we do come over this winter I demand a meet up then..

agalch you are doing so well! 1.5 hours at the gym

EllieG · 14/05/2007 10:46

Weighed myself fri and put on a pound last week and sulked for entire weekend. That means in total, over 3 weeks have lost.....1 pound. Rubbish.
Feel a lot more positive today though and have been quite healthy and went to gym this weekend and am determined to have a healthy week and lose a bit more. Congrats to all who lost some and comiseration to those (like me) wot didn't.
Do you think it was all those virtual cheese balls?

suejonez · 14/05/2007 12:47

if anyone feels the urge to sponsor DS for his mile for Maude... that would be lovely!

Done. xxx

justamum · 15/05/2007 00:15

Happy to sponsor DS Sue, he is so beautiful. I must figure out how to do pictures so I can show off my beauties, even if dd is still bald as a coot at 13months.
Weighed myself this morning, -3lb, so I am really pleased, and really motivated now. I think I am officially rejoining if that is ok. I will probably need the support before too long

EllieG · 15/05/2007 09:53

Your little boy is beautiful Sue! I will have to do sponsor thing at home not allowed to at work won't let me I think
Well done justamum!

CheesyFeet · 15/05/2007 10:09

Well done justamum

Things are not going so well here, I have had a very bad week and it has had a dreadful impact on my eating. I am thinking of avoiding my weigh in tonight but I fear that may be the start of a very slippery slope.

EllieG · 15/05/2007 12:30

Just take it on the chin CF - might not be as bad as you think and at least you'll know. It's only one week and you can get back on track next week

justamum · 15/05/2007 22:09

I've done a photo! Or to be technical DH did it for me, but I do know how to do it for next time.
Cheesyfeet, don't you wish you were one of those people who stop eating when stressed, mind you none of us would be here if we were. The only thing you can do is to write it off and start again. I hope you have a better week this week!

suejonezwillsoonbeKewcumber · 16/05/2007 09:25

lovely photo justamum, it was worth the effort. Thanks to everyone who sponsored DS who now has a cold (and therefore I too have the beginnings of one). I hate colds, not ill enough to really complain and get sympathy but ill enough to feel crap.

I don;t ahve the energy to think about whether I'm eating what I should so am just going to keep plodding and trying to keep the worst excesses at bay.

suejonezwillsoonbeKewcumber · 16/05/2007 09:25

anyone else planning to go to the London picnic?

EllieG · 16/05/2007 12:18

Have just eaten a cake oops. It was a chocolate eclair and was winking at me and I couldn't refuse. Am off to gym at lunchtime to work off some lard.

JackieNo · 16/05/2007 15:38

I've been completely out of control this week. Not quite sure why I've been deliberately eating much too much, and entirely the wrong things, but that's the way it's been. I fully expect to have put on this week, but I've started to feel better today, and am not eating so much, so hopefully getting back on track.

Interesting that in that first paragraph I'm accusing myself of being simultaneously 'out of control' and 'deliberately eating too much' - both can't really be true, can they.
