2 lb down it's a start.

Ghosty your current weight is close to my goal weight!

sandyballs · 26/07/2004 09:59

0 lbs.

Pathetic, stuffed my face all weekend and drank loads of wine.

Fresh start today. 7 weeks until I go to Menorca and have to expose my flabby physique on the beach.

This time next week I will be able to say that I lost 2 lbs !!

Skara · 26/07/2004 10:39

due to the excessive greed of my small fat baby who likes to guzzle and not in any part due to my feeble attempts at losing weight...3lb off! Mind you, I haven't lost a thing for the last 6 weeks so that might be why?

Now why does that make me think 'yippee I can pig out today'? I am sooo bad at this

prufrock · 26/07/2004 10:41

Prufrock has gained 1 1/4 lbs. SO ashamed. But it was dh's fault - I was doing really well until Friday, when I asked him to go to the shop on the way home to pick up some milk - and he came back with milk, flakes and a 6 pack of Magnums which of course I had to eat

But this is a new week and I WILL be good.

angelpoppet · 26/07/2004 10:49

well, my official weight in is at 7pm tonight but I had a sneek peek last night and I was down by 4.5 Ibs!!!! Yippeeee!!!!!

I'm hoping for a nice round 5Ibs tonight but we'll have to wait and see.

I'll be treating myslef with a slice of hot choc fudge cake and ice cream for my pudding tonight

Spod · 26/07/2004 11:04

monkeygirl · 26/07/2004 11:41

I have lost a grand total of....0lbs . I'm actually pleased that I didn't put anything on cos I have guzzled my baby's weight in sweet stuff.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day....

Metrobaby · 26/07/2004 12:04

Another null points for me. I lost nowt

I am attempeting to be good this week too, and have joined SW now. Does anyone know how much on average per week you lose?

scrumpy · 26/07/2004 17:15

Lost 2lbs thought it would be more because i have been so good...so sod it I have now eaten a chocolate biscuit and I am going to have big plate of chilli tonite, yum yum. onwards and upwards to another week

Gomez · 26/07/2004 17:20

Can I come and play now please???

Have started today - full of enthusiasim, big healthy shop, meals planned etc. Was hoping that just eating like a normal person as opposed to a carbohydrate/sugar addict may help so haven't been too hard on myself.

Just a small request can we never, ever use the phrase 'Lets get back on track' - my one experience of a slimming club involved a exceptionally annoying woman who used that as her catch phrase.

Good luck all.

scrumpy · 26/07/2004 17:28

welcome gomez and good luck to you too.

Skara · 26/07/2004 19:53

hi gomez, welcome to the most relaxed slimming clube ever .

Guess what - when I reweighed myself after my shower I'd returned to last week's weight. So do I assume that a) I stood on the scales wrong before my shower b) that I absorbed 3lb of water in the process of a 5 min shower (!) or c) that my 3lb off was me standing on the scales wrongly (sob)? It didn't matter where I placed them, they still said the same (lardy) weight. So I think I know the answer to that one! Oh well, will make a supreme effort although we have friends visiting this weekend who love to eat. Yours in fatness xxxx

Skara · 26/07/2004 19:54

sorry a) and c) are the same - blame it on sleep deprivation or chocolate overdose...

suzywong · 26/07/2004 19:57

nul points
in fact my friend's little boy asked me what I had in my tummy today.
"Fat" I said. Gotta be honest with kids

mit · 26/07/2004 20:01

I'm very sad to report that I have lost nothing...it was all going so well, I had a sneaky weigh on Friday and I was down 2lb!!! However on Friday went out for dinner with friends at a restaurant where everything contains above average amounts of butter and cream (gosh is was delicious!!) and then a party on Saturday night where the only thing to eat were tortilly chips and salsa.....pure carbs sadly. So this morning I am back at 145lbs.... sob sob .

This week I have no parties or nice dinners planned (why am I happy about this?? - I sound like a pathetic looser!) so fingers crossed it'll be better news next Monday.

mit x

Have lost nothing either... which is good as I thought I was getting dehidrated through excesive crying, probably those chocolates betrayed me...

Bozza · 26/07/2004 21:59

2lb for me. Very pleased - now only 21lb to go. Had huge portion of home made meat and potato pie for tea though so bad start to the new week.

monkeygirl · 26/07/2004 22:57

Got asked at the doctors when I went for my 6 week post-natal check-up today if I was there for an ante-natal appointment . Must lose that flab, must lose that flab...

Ghosty · 27/07/2004 02:55

Aw monkey girl ... don't be sad!
I was asked by the prat who fixed my roof if I was pregnant ................ when I was holding 4 week old DD in my arms! .... I nearly took the saw to his ladder ....

(Think The Fast Show) ... Today, I have been mostly eating .... crumpets ...

almost40 · 27/07/2004 04:27

gained 2 lbs . ice cream binge. . .

Kif · 27/07/2004 08:44

Kif 5lb down - though allow for bad eyesight squinting at the scales. Also been gaining for last 3 months, so loss is long overdue.

pesme · 27/07/2004 08:57

Hi can I join in? Getting married in 6 weeks and am still a human potato. dd started waking up in the night due to teething so can hear the old siren call of the biscuits again! Any tips?
