I weight exactly 10st. @rjnomore rationally I think that's what I look like. Like today I was able to lift a friend's daughter all the way to my shoulders not struggling at all and she weighs around 3st

It's what some people say nowadays to the normal sized of us. You look great!! Just maybe tone up a little. But you look fine. You don't look thin

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 30/04/2017 21:53

charimito · 30/04/2017 22:02

We were just playing!! We were trying to reach the ceiling for some reason. Believe those photos are the only ones I have so I can show my friends who live far away.

You send your friends who live far away photos of your make-up and abdomen? Confused

charimito · 30/04/2017 23:24

Yes, so they can give me their opinion! I'm an expat after all and don't t have that many local friends

You don't look too skinny OP. I'd say that looks like a healthy physique.

I have to say, I really don't get these vanity sizes that clothing manufacturers have phased in. I was a sz8 when I was 8.5st and 5'7" (donkeys years ago ~1990ish) but if I was still the same shape now, I'd be what, a sz4...?? And now I'm a sz12/14, but someone my size now would have been 16/18 back then I suppose?

northerny · 01/05/2017 06:22

Tidy your dressing table. Wink

Quickieat2 · 01/05/2017 06:40

You look lovely. Not gaunt or painfully thin. Trim and sporty.

Quickieat2 · 01/05/2017 06:41

And your dressing table is tidier then mine

pinkieandperkie · 01/05/2017 06:46

You don't look skinny op. My dd is size 6 and 5'5 and she looks really skinny.

BeWaterMyFriend · 01/05/2017 07:06

It's hard to tell from the photo- it could be that your face has changed and that's what they're reacting to?

I know what you mean about deciding when to stop, I lost a lot of weight last year and it was a bit weird to realise I didn't actually need to lose any more. For me that was at size 10 because I'm 5'8.

I've managed to put 2kg back on since then though, maintenance is a bitch Grin

rightsofwomen · 01/05/2017 07:25

You look average and normal and fine whatever that all means.
I guess if you've lost a lot of weight in a short period of time people will notice and suggest you slow it down.
10st at 5'3" is not in the slightest bit skinny.

ihatethecold · 01/05/2017 07:36

I'm 5ft 2 and 10 stone and wear a size 12.
I'm an hourglass shape, I'm not skinny but have a definite waist and go in and out.
I can't see how you are a size 6 if you really weigh 10 st.

KP86 · 01/05/2017 08:15

There's a rule of thumb that a good weight for people is your height in cm less 100cm (based in kg). So you are 160cm, which would be 60kg. You are pretty close to that now, 63kg.

I personally think you look great. Nice and sporty. If you are happy in yourself then that's all that matters.

I wouldn't say you are too thin.

FruitCider · 01/05/2017 08:30

OP I'm 5ft 3, BMI of 25, I'm size 12, can squeeze my hour glass bum into a 10 in Primark skinny stretch jeans. I can see just from looking at your photo you are not a size 6 and probably more like a 10. If your BMI is 25 then no you are not underweight!

nellythegoat · 01/05/2017 08:40

How do you feel at that weight OP? Do you feel good? I had friends doing the whole 'OMG don't loose anymore weight' thing a stone ago (I was trussed up in spanx pants) and didn't stop until I felt happy.

One I get to slim I know it without having to ask as I lose too much from my face, so it becomes a bit of a balance around the 19/20 BMI mark because my body feels great but if I'm not careful I can look a bit haggard, but I think that is just what happens after 40 so I have to make extra effort to keep my hair a good colour and get enough sleep.

Gwenhwyfar · 01/05/2017 09:06

I don't really get how you can be a size 6 at 10st and 5ft 3 and a BMI of 25. You must be really muscly. I'm the same height and at 10st I'd be a size 14 (12 in places with big sizes like Next and M&S). Are you very sporty and do you lift weight?
You look great anyway.

pinkieandperkie · 01/05/2017 09:30

I am 5'4 and weigh 10.6 and I am easily a size 12. I also look fat. My BMW is 24.5

pinkieandperkie · 01/05/2017 09:31

Sorry bmi is 25

charimito · 01/05/2017 09:46

I feel ok/happy about it. I wasn't able to see my collarbone before so that's a very, very big change for me. I do train 1.5 hrs every day (apart from Saturdays my rest day). It's a mix of strength training and running. And yes I'm definitely a size 6 /8. My waist is 26in

You look fine, slim but not skinny. People will be reacting to the large change. Do you really need to see a nutritionist on the NHS?
