I'm feeling a bit the same as well ... but my urge to feel and send positive vibes is far outweighing my urge to get all pessimistic about it!

Fingers and everything are still very firmly crossed though.

blimey if I was still in West London, I think I'd go to HEathrow and check for myself that they were home!

actually feeling quite tearful that I'm not there any more so I won't see them

MrsJohnCusack · 23/01/2007 22:41

I'd have gone I mean
I can barely type, carpal tunnel
I am a wreck - & baby is 2/5 engaged (2nd baby, at before 36 weeks - WHY? All I do is wee....)

Let's make her turn the blog into a book.

Littlefish · 24/01/2007 06:51

Oh poor you Mrs JC. If the baby is 2/5 engaged, is that a possible good sign that the baby might come a little earlier and put you out of your misery?

I'm so excited that Sue and Daniel are home. WWB - would it be possible for you to e-mail me her address so I can send a card?

agalch · 24/01/2007 07:31

Morning girls

Mrs JC i so remember that feeling.Maybe you won't go the 5 weeks you have left.Hope not(((hugs)))

Will def have lost weight this week but not in the right way Dd's are both ill.Dd1 is not too bad but coughing so much she is almost sick.Dd2 has a chest infection and cannot get the ab's into her,pain/fever relief has to be given via a suppositary so been a nightmare and have had no time to eat.

Will really need to get time to read the Sue and Daniel story. Will try today id the dd's have a nap.

have a good day all xx

JackieNo · 24/01/2007 08:18

LOOK! Sue's definitely here!!. Can't believe it - so pleased for her.

MrsJohnCusack · 24/01/2007 10:12

I am so glad Sue and Daniel are home!

I don't know if the baby will come any earlier or not, DD also engaged really early. I kind of want him either to come in the next 2 weeks, or then wait until after the 20th because I really, really want to make my audition. But then I don't want him to be really late as I want him to be as old as poss when I do my 3/4 weeks of evening work starting at the end of March. Picky aren't I? He's so going to arrive when he wants and it'll be the most inconvenient time no doubt (I want doesn't get, as my mother would delight in telling me).
In fact after the 20th will be better as then my mother may be able to help with childcare a bit (she is FINALLY having her hip replaced on the 2nd). I don't have anyone else to look after DD.

Waffle, waffle, waffle. hope DDs are better soon agalch.

CheesyFeet · 24/01/2007 10:21

Mrs JC, isn't it the middle of the night in NZ??? Shouldn't you be in bed?????

Yay for Sue and Daniel

suejonezisdanielsmummy · 24/01/2007 16:46

hello - can a lapsed member rejoin... My name is suejonez and I haven't weighed myself for 3 months...

Have had a pretty good excuse though...

The boy in the jet-lag induced coma will wake up shortly so must go but hope to catch up with you all later in the week in little snippets.

WigWamBam · 24/01/2007 16:58

SUUUUUEEEEEEE

So glad to see you back - we have been following your story so closely and biting our fingernails down to the knuckles over the last few days!

JackieNo · 24/01/2007 17:31

Sue ! How fab to see you on here again - you've been missed, you know. Can't wait to hear more about the final days - as WWB says, we were all on tenterhooks waiting to hear the latest updates.

JackieNo · 24/01/2007 17:32

agalch - poor you, and your poor DDs. Hope they feel better soon - especially DD2.

Littlefish · 24/01/2007 20:12

Hoooooooooooray - Sue's back!!!! See WWB - it didn't take her long before the lure of mn was just too strong!

Sue, we've really missed you, and talked abut you regularly. Although we know you have other things on your mind now (and in your house!!!!), please come and see us as often as possible and tell us all about Daniel.

JackieNo · 24/01/2007 21:41

Sue, in case you get back here tonight - check out the adoption board - there's a welcome home thread, and the one you started just before you left is still going (started by you on 24th October - 267 messages, and counting).

Dottydot · 24/01/2007 21:44

Agalch - sounds rough - hope you're OK and not too stressed out.

Sue!!!!! Blimey it's been a long haul for you - I hope that Daniel's starting to settle in OK - it must feel unreal to be back. I'm so pleased you made it - congratulations again on being a Mum!

I'm doing sooooo crap with my eating. Just can't seem to get back to being good. Why am I so bobbins at it??

JackieNo · 24/01/2007 21:57

Dottydot - I'm finding it difficult too - the weather doesn't help, I'm finding. All this cold weather not only makes me want to eat lots of comfort food, but also just makes getting out and about more stressful. And what does more stress equal? More eating. Have been better this week than any of the other weeks since Christmas, but I'm still not convinced it'll have helped.

justamum · 24/01/2007 22:39

Welcome home Sue and Daniel, its great to have you back, we have all followed your progress avidly and with bucketloads of soggy tissues. I hope Daniel recovers from jetlag quickly and you even quicker. I'm sending lots of love and support vibes.

MrsJohnCusack · 24/01/2007 23:48

ehllllloooooooooo SUE!

CheesyFeet · 25/01/2007 10:05

Hello Sue

Congratulations on being a Mummy

littlemisssensible · 25/01/2007 12:14

Hello Sue,

It's so ggod to see you home and Daniel looks like a little darling!

I've actually remembered to weigh this morning and I've even managed to lose a lb!!!!

Amazing after all the crap I've stuffed this week . It must be stress related weight loss

suejonezisdanielsmummy · 25/01/2007 12:24

Well he was up at 2am and 5am and is napping now thankfully. So I am exhausted. Lovely to be able to take him outside though.

WigWamBam · 25/01/2007 12:28

It must feel fabulous to finally have him home ... it's been such a long time and must have been so frustrating.

I can't help grinning every time I think of you, I am just so pleased that everything's finally happened for you.

How are you feeling now?

OP posts:
suejonezisdanielsmummy · 25/01/2007 12:35

am feeling very odd. Very occasionally when he's asleep and Im doing something normal downstairs, I forget that he's there and feel like I dreamt the last 3 months.

suejonezisdanielsmummy · 25/01/2007 12:37

I am taking pleasure in such simple things...

Green grass
Walking on non-icy pavements
Speaking English
A choice of English channels (OK all rubbish but rubbish I can understand)
My lovely cats
Not feeling like I'm caged up inside
