Half term holiday over - now to that final 7lbs

I started the year at 10st 11lbs and have have lost and kept off around a stone. I have put a couple of pounds back on whilst on holiday over half term and this morning I weighed exactly 10 stone. I now want to lose that final bit but the motivation is not as strong as it was.

Anyone want to join me in finally reaching the end goal?

Ha ha. I refer to my earlier post. I had an old white cabbage in the fridge, shrink wrapped in plastic.

One of my funnee teens (ho bloody ho) drew a face on it and named him after a family friend.

I steam cabbage actually. Makes a good carb substitute. X

Oh I see! Might have a bit of steamed Robert myself with my gammon tonight! I have been a little naughty this week but judging by the scales this morning, no damage but weigh in tomorrow will be the clincher!

We've done nearly five weeks since half term and I've not lost much of the TRICKY LAST HALF STONE but every little bit lost is a success and I am still motivated.

However, I was feeling hungry this morning and had 3 pieces of toast! Who am I kidding?? That is far too much. It was delicious though but way too much for my small frame.

My Toothache has subsided. I am on antibiotics and they are helping me heal. Do they increase appetite? Also, I had a nap this afternoon, so I am still tired on this diet.

I have taken photos each week for the last 8 weeks and I can see the difference. I have tried on my party dress for week Saturday and it fits well. Grin

I want to succeed and will be very good over the weekend for my weigh in on MONDAY. We have lots of gardening to do as well so I will get physical!

I need to meal plan for my bean pole teen monster munchers. I will eat small portions and no pasta nor potatoes.

Tonight - Pesto chicken salad and pasta
I will have slimline tonics.
Saturday- Cod loins and jumbo prawns in spicy tomato sauce, and chips
Sunday - Roast Beef and potatoes, veg and gravy
Monday - cheesy pasta and broccoli
It's pizza night Tuesday.

How was your weigh in sweet Coper?

Aaah thanks Modern! Neutral weigh in, but I guess that is ok as I have not had a strict week due to several school and medical stresses! My tummy feels very flat and I tried on a heap of trousers tonight for a wedding we are going to, and a year ago they nearly got chucked out due to only coming half way up my thighs! They all fitted... comfortably so despite the lack of loss, I am feeling good and I will get there!

I have really slipped on the Fitbitting so need to get back on it, and I need to stop cheating so much at the weekends, as my week becomes all about getting back to the previous Friday's weight, and not about weight loss.

Hang on in there. We have done the easy weight loss. This bit was always going to be hard but we all have the right mindset.
