Six week plan to lose 1 to 1.5 stones healthy eating and exercise!Anyone else ?

I ate a hell of a lot of toast over the winter with butter. Then I paid the price! I have been healthy eating and eating about 300-500 calories less than my rec.intake for the last five weeks and have lost a stone.
Now I feel a bit thinner which is great but realise I have another stone to 1.5 stone to lose looks like harder work !
I am on salads/ low cal deli stuff/ soup/ chicken/ salmon .
I am swimming when I get chance which is not often enough!
Anyone else on a similar regime want to join in to keep us all going together?

Me too! Am tracking with mfp but just eating heathily so far. I'm trying to exercise and failing, I did go for an hour walk at lunchtime today and will try again tomorrow. I started after the Easter weekend at 13 stone!!! I was 12st 5lb last Weds after an unexplained gain of 2lbs :(. Been keeping to 1200kcal this week so hoping for a nice loss this Weds. A stone off in the next 6 weeks would be great and also a bit of inspiration to get exercising.

Hi Owl sorry a huge storm ruined our internet for the night. I also have total of three stone to lose and have lost one . Surprising how much thinner I feel after this loss though . What sort of thing are you eating?

Hi.
I'm 10 stone and would like to be 9.7.
I've been 10 stone a few months but today I weigh 10.7 in hoping that's the scales rather than me,
I'm running with a club twice a week, up to 4 miles each time, progressing up to 6 miles soon. Started watching my diet and having fish and roasted veg each night.

Mothers ruin..that's uncanny because that's exactly what I did! Started the weekend after Easter five weeks ago at thirteen stone and have lost one, two to go! Am focusing on healthy eating mainly fruit, salad , soups and fish/ chicken with the odd m and s low calorie meal if I am at work without time to cook. Went swimming but tried to do too many lengths ( 40 lol) and ached for days and haven't had chance to go again yet. Am trying to stick to 1200 to 1400 cals.

Hi windy that sounds really good. Unfortunately I can't run at the moment because I feel I'm a bit too overweight still and get sore feet. But maybe when I improve my fitness I might start.

I am following five two with some but limited success. I need to have less sugary foods. I go ok for a bit and then sort of fall off the wagon.

I have three absolutes..no cake, no white bread and no chips. But in reality have only oatcakes as a treat or extremely fruity m & s yoghurts as dessert. I have bought loads of fruit.
M and s have some new salads which are 50 calories in the ' spirit of summer range' which are lush

I will join in . I keep hovering around the same weight and cannot seem to shift down at all. I eat healthy most of the time but have a sugar weakness so I am going to address this. IF I could cut out chocolate I would be OK.

I'm in too. 1.5 stone in 8 weeks fits my targets perfectly. I'm running twice a week and gym twice a week so I think exercise is ok. Just need to figure out this eating malarkey..

I literally have no self control. My desire to eat overtakes my desire to have a smaller bum. I saw a bikini I really want yesterday though, and that is making me determined. I haven't dared to wear a bikini in, ooooh about 14 years!

I'm in. A month till I go on holiday, I want to lose 1 - 1.5 stone. I've just re-registered on MFP as it keeps me focused. I'm going to start listening to my Paul Mckenna thing at night as well. I have almost no time to actually exercise, but I do walk to work & back 3 days per week, about 2k each way.

Can I join please. I need to loose 1.5 stone. Started a couple of days ago but already struggling as missing the cheese/chocolate/wine! I went on my first ever run (well for at least 10 years) yesterday and am feeling it today but am thinking 'no pain, no gain' and trying to remain positive.

I realised I was eating all the wrong stuff over winter... Pies, quiches, toast and butter, welsh cakes, cake, chip shop chips..I just wasn't even thinking about the calories at all! Plenty of vegetables too but in general, too much and the wrong stuff.
Now I find if I get hungry I think ..well I can still eat, just the right stuff, a bit of rocket and hoummus, baked tomatoes, grapes, tangerines, bananas , apples, handful of granola from LIDL , reduced fat coleslaw rocket and balsamic vinegar ..if I'm desperate, an oatcake or piece of wholemeal bread or wholewheat pitta .

Can I join? Trying to get down from 12 stone. Would love to lose 1.5 stone. Hols in about a month so got to get on it. Been taking the baby out walking 3 miles a day which has helped and not keeping any bread in the house has done wonders as its no longer a temptation. Switched milk chocolate for dark chocolate. Hoping this will make a difference and I can get in a bikini.
