I've put on a stone in the last few months! Time to get it off

I've put on a years worth of weight loss in 3 months :(
I eat well and exercise like a loon (run 30km a week plus 2-3 exercise classes) but a few old habits have snuck back in: binge eating on weekends, eating kids left overs.
I've put on a stone. At my lightest (in May) I was 10stone 2. Now I'm 11stone 3. I'm 5ft 10 so I'm not technically overweight but I feel awful.
I lost the weight before by calorie counting (between 1200-1400 cals a day). I need a good kick up the arse to get this weight off. I'm hoping to get it all off by December 1st. Anyone with me?

Please can I join (too scared to weigh myself but around 10 stone, which is very heavy at my height.) Would like to get back to 8 12 but feel like I have no will power where food, wine and second helpings are concerned

Flutterbutterfly · 12/10/2015 15:18

I'd like to join. I'm wanting to shift a stone. Currently 9 stone.
I'm needing to eat less and excercise a bit more ( currently do some excercise but could do more)
Calories so far today 600. Aiming for 1200.
Exercise 30 min run and Pilates 40 mins.

I am looking for help and inspiration too. My big weight trigger is wine.

I need to kick it for my all over health and to lose weight.

Can someone tell me how many calories a 12.5 vol white would contain, just to scare the shit outa me .........

I have put on a stone since this time last year and feel awful :(

CheesyNachos · 13/10/2015 08:19

I have just been on the alcohol aware website and they talk about cals in wine. Basically (I only skim read it) you are looking at about 220 cals per 250 mls. The same as a large Cornetto. (or half a Big Mac). I used to drink an awful lot, and would never have dreamed of eating 2 Big Macs a day on top of my regular food!!!! But that is roughly what I was consuming in wine!!

It's eye opening!

I'm a pound down today! Yippee
30 min run done and half hour of Pilates.

twobambinos · 14/10/2015 08:38

Welcome to all the new joiners you are very welcome. Hope it's all going well for you. I lost nothing this week still weighing in at 9st 6. I need to cop on.

Flutterbutterfly · 14/10/2015 13:12

Where did everyone go?
30 min run and 30 mins Pilates for me.
Keeping calories at around 1700.
Not lost any weight on today's weigh in but my waist is 1/2 inch smaller. Smile

I am here!

Did the treadmill yesterday. Hoping to go to the gym tonight also.

I am not calorie counting yet. Want to see how I do with a month of the gym 6 days a week, then will pay more attention to everything else.

I am marooned on 10st 3, would be great to get under 10st it's the excersie I need to up! 3 mile run done and a class later hopefully

(Have also eaten 3 cherry bakewell a today-WHY!)

TravellingHopefully12 · 14/10/2015 15:36

My lovely flatmate is the best cook, which is great but awful for my diet. Last night we had a vegan curry with loads of vegetables and coconut milk, followed by vegan pancakes with sugar (she had a friend over.)

I was quite liberal with the sugar, after half a bottle of very caloric red, and afterwards dreamed that the sugar bowl was by my bed. This is going to be an uphill battle

LizardBreath · 16/10/2015 08:36

10st 2 today, really want to get under 10 mark again. Got dress fitting in 3 weeks would be great to have done by then. Lots of wine last night though, oops!

Hello everyone, just spotted this thread, can I join? I'd really like to loose a stone by Christmas. I'm 11.10 at the moment and would like to be 10.10 by Christmas. I lost my first stone doing exante, then my second stone SW but haven't been going since the begiinning of the summer hols and CBA to rejoin. I plan to loose this weight by having an exante shake for breakfast, soup for lunch and a sensible balance SW-style dinner on an evening. I have quite an active job which should help.

LizardBreath · 16/10/2015 10:11

Hi shift, yes of course! Your plan sounds similar to mine, are the exabyte shakes nice? My problem has been sweet stuff but I do seem to have kicked the habit- now need to up the excersie!

MamaTeeTee · 16/10/2015 16:04

I'm still alive! Sorry ive had a hectic time with work and DC. I've kept up with exercise (4 x 4-5 mile runs per week plus 1 bootcamp session). Diet has been mostly kept to (except last Saturday). I weigh 10stone 9 no loss really but I feel fantastic. The bloat has gone, my size 10 jeans fit well. I'm just trying to keep it up. Feel like shit today so am considering a dominos tonight but I've got Turkey mince that needs using so will probably end up doing something with that.
How's everyone getting on? X

I'd say I'm being good 85-90% of the time but not being that naughty when I have been if you know what I mean.

No exercise except walking though due to various reasons. Currently fighting off a nasty cold so can't see me going until the end of the week!

Not planning on weighing until next week - I want to see how I do with eating well most of the time. I'm starting to think I might have to go back on Cambridge/milkshake diets again and I really don't want to Sad
