Forgot to email this week again but over the last fortnight I have lost 0.5lb -- so just enough to push us over into a net loss for the week.

Hurrah for Fauve (and for everyone else)!

JackieNo · 16/11/2006 11:05

Well done Fauve and WWB - fab losses you two. Do you think we need Sue to bully us? Come on, let's try to keep going so that we can enjoy Christmas all the more.

schneebly · 16/11/2006 13:15

Hi guys - I have been offline since last fri - that's what I get for living in the middle of nowhere! Well done to all of you - I have stayed the same which if fine as I have indulged a bit much. Glad to be back online!

alittlebitshy · 16/11/2006 13:21

hi everyone,
i'm bck from 5 weeks in NZ (met mrs jc while there!), and have put on 6lb, so i'm bck to needing to lose a bit agian...

any news from sueJ?

lemonaid · 16/11/2006 13:25

She's updated her blog -- may have a court date on Monday but doesn't know for sure yet.

Dottydot · 16/11/2006 16:09

I'm not looking forward to my WW weigh in tonight... I've been better this week, but not brilliant . Might need words of encouragement after I've been! I feel like I've stalled completely after such a good start. How can I get myself going again and re-enthused??

hub2dee · 16/11/2006 16:46

I'm half a pound down on last week. but it's in the right direction, despite too many scones and chocolate pumpkins.

flutterbee · 16/11/2006 21:04

Last week was a really bad week for me food wise, also having DS's 1st birthday party on Saturday didn't help, sausage rolls and chocolate cake a plenty

On the plus side we have finally got our new boiler sorted and for the first time in 5-6 weeks we have got heating and hot water

WWB can you please e-mail me I have something to send to you but have lost your address.

Bonkerz

hub2dee · 16/11/2006 21:44

FAB news on the boiler. That must be a friggin' relief.

Fauve · 16/11/2006 22:46

Thank you for my crown (Earning it nearly killed me - can I ease off a bit now?)

OK, OK, won't ease off too much. Nice to see you again, Schneebly and Alittlebitshy Dottydot, I think you can have mercy on yourself! Draw the line under last week! Recite the creed!

justamum · 16/11/2006 23:07

flutterbee, isn't it great having hot water on tap!!! We too have been having boiler problems and I am sooooo grateful when I turn on the hot tap now. Hope you had a lovely time at ds's birthday party, the first year goes so fast doesn't it- you look at this active, bright little creature and wonder how they changed from being a helpless bundle in such a short space of time.
lovely crown fauve! very regal

bonkerz · 16/11/2006 23:13

ok so i now have a starting weight and am shocked! Its the heaviest i have been EVER!!! Personally i blame being on anti depressants (and im sticking to that! It couldnt possibly be all the coke, crisps and chocolate!!)
So am still being good and shocking all my friends!! Im sure they are watching me and expecting me to give in soon!!!
am home all day tomorrow and am worried i will be tempted to snack! Have no fruit left as polished it off today. Have planned breakfast and lunch and have loads of water in fridge to drink if i feel 'hungry'. got some chewing gum today too so will chew that and see how i go!!!

WigWamBam · 17/11/2006 10:49

Bonkerz, do you want to email me your starting weight and join in with the Wednesday weigh-ins? You don't have to if you don't want to; some do and some don't, whichever you prefer. You can use my usual email address or the BigMoFos one - [email protected]. Don't starve yourself, my love - if you are hungry then you must eat.

Will email you later, flutterbee - hotmail is playing up at the moment but I'll catch you later.

Flutterbee - so glad you got the boiler sorted out!

Well I've lost 2.5lbs!! Really truly don't know how - I'm going to pay for it at some point... Maybe gluten's really really heavy and I'm going to lose loads of weight now I can't have it??!

JackieNo · 17/11/2006 11:54

Hey well done Dottydot. Result.

Dottydot · 17/11/2006 16:19

On the basis of my eating habits last week, all I can say is that scoffing lots of jellybeans must help towards losing 2.5lbs!

JackieNo · 17/11/2006 16:22

Might try that. I guess they're fat free, anyway.

WigWamBam · 18/11/2006 21:12

I had a pleasant surprise today - was trying on some dresses in Evans and found I've dropped a size I'd taken three or four to try on, and had to put them all back and get some smaller ones. I have to own up to doing a small happy jiggy dance around the changing room! Usually I find their dresses come up quite small around the bust so it was a very nice surprise indeed.

It's just a small victory, my size still begins with a 3, but it's a small step in the right direction ...

Littlefish · 18/11/2006 21:20

Hip Hip Hooooooooooooooooray WWB!!!!!

Congratulations. That's a real achievement. You'll soon be down in to the sizes that start with a 2, and then the sizes that start with a 1!!!!! Keep going - you're doing brilliantly.

Dottydot · 18/11/2006 21:45

WWB - it's such a fab feeling isn't it..! I keep trying to remember that feeling whenever my hand's diving for a jellybean/biscuit/chocolate

Dottydot · 18/11/2006 21:45

ooh and WWB, have your bought your Christmas party dress yet??!!!

JackieNo · 19/11/2006 10:33

Oh well done WWB - it really is a huge step forwards isn't it.

WigWamBam · 19/11/2006 10:35

I bought this one from Evans yesterday because it looked really nice on - the photo doesn't do it justice at all. It's covered in beads in a sort of feather pattern across the front and back and looks quite elegant (I still look like a barrel, just an elegant barrel).

It's sleeveless so I need a little shrug or something to go with it.

I was in two minds because I still rather like the lacy one we looked at on the other thread, but at least I was able to try this on, and it does look nice.

Mmm, the link doesn't work. If you click on Dresses, it's the first one on the page - the asymetric beaded black dress. Looks awful on the page but looks lovely on.

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 19/11/2006 10:36

Feels really nice to be (slightly) smaller; I haven't noticed any difference with my other clothes yet, but I tend to wear them baggy anyway.

Next stop a size that begins with a 2 ...
