So I thought it would be slimming to give up sandwiches but I have put on weight

I have taken pasta/rice salads every day, no cheese
where did I go wrong?
and was I wrong about bread?

do you have fresh fruit/veg or nuts at home for those hunger pangs?

also a rule which works for many: drink a glas of water if you think you are hungry. wait 10 min and if you still feel hungry have an apple

I'm losing weight well at the moment by cutting out bad carbs,as in white bread,pasta, rice etc.
I'm also watching the calories and trying to get maximum nutrition for my calories.
So lots of lean protein, some wholemeal bread, seeds,small amount of nuts, pulses etc.

I have wine on the three weekend nights and a small bar every night.

I can't do very low carb. I feel starving all the time and end up bingeing.

I think you need to try to be as healthy as possible while watching calories also. Low carb would never be sustainable for me in the long term.
