Hello I'm on holiday at the moment and doing a lot of eating in pubs and cafes. I was 11st 4, so at 5ft 4 very over weight.

So I've decided that after Easter I'm back on the diet wagon for next term. I want to drop 2 dress sizes before the summer holidays. Anyone want to join me?

I'm still here!
Started properly on Sunday 19/04, with Mfp and my first week of 5:2 (tried it before and couldn't sustain it)

Now 11.4 on 25/4

3lbs down, hard work but right direction

Well done on your loss nocarbs I lost 2.5 pounds this week bringing my weight down to 12.05. I am really hoping to lose a pound this week to bring my weight down to 11st something for the first time in ages. I think 11.7 by half term could still be possible if I stay on track.

I've actually had an Indian tonight but won't give up my once a week treat! But will be on plan the rest of the week!
Half term is my mini goal too :-) x

I think it is good to treat yourself, otherwise it is too hard to stick with a diet long term. I went out and had a lovely italian meal on Friday, but I pointed it all and went walking yesterday so I am hopeful I will lose again this week. I need to lose 1 pound to get in to the next stone bracket but I would love to lose two Wink

Oh are so right about 'needing' the treat!
Good luck for you this week. I did a mini fast day today for 5:2 and came in above the daily recommend but well under my usual calories so I feel I may have pulled it back a little.

I hope you get 2lb off, I'm 4 away from the next stone bracket so think asking for 5 may be a stretch too far!

Aargh! Weighed myself this morning and I'm over a kg heavier than last week, and slightly more than my starting weight. I didn't calorie count but definitely ate less and exercised much more than usual. Not even TOTM either. Confused

I guess I just need to stick with it and look for trends over the longer term. I suppose I should use MFP but found it soul destroying when I tried before.

Planning to do a Davina Insanity workout later - hopefully that will blast some fat off!

Couldn't find this thread!! How did your exercise go spangle? I think the body sometimes has odd weeks when dieting as a good week can often take a bit to catch up? I'm not loving MFP as it won't let me do 'fast days' so on my 2 days a week (5:2) I am having to record a minimum of 1200 kcals, instead of the 5-600 I'm having!

Great news Mercury, always amazing to get into the next bracket. I'm hoping to do that over the next 2 weeks

Today 11.2!! 2lb off this week

Getting there (again!) this time for good xx
