Well if had my first shake and it wasn't too bad. I'm on 3 packs a day and want to loose at least 2 stone.

Who else has done it? How fast did the weight come off?

Any tips?

Thank you for the link. Very easy to make too, also pleased to see a recipe that I could make with my soups rather than wasting them. Feeling slightly more positive now...my next packs don't arrive until Wednesday and will try these tomorrow.

Started back on it yesterday after having a day off. Feeling ok but have tonsillitis.

I am on day 5 and have been fine until I was suddenly starving this evening. I have had an extra product and feel fine now. I guess 800cals instead of 600 won't make a massive difference.

I have decided to try really hard not to weigh myself very often, maybe once a month or so, as plateaus derail me. My face already looks less puffy though. Grin

Tough diet to do when you're poorly Ieirs. Hope you feel better soon. Flowers

Well done charles getting to day 5 is a huge achievement. I think the first couple of days is tough going but it does get easier.

Oh that's a good idea charles ...why didn't I think of that on Monday when I was starving and gave in to temptation. Blush

I think I'm very similar to you regarding weighing...as when I weighed Monday I was the same as Sunday and maybe that's why I gave in to temptation. I think I will just weigh every Sunday morning and see how that goes. How much are you hoping to lose if you don't mind me asking?

Well, ideally 4 stone Blush but TBH anything I manage to get off and keep off would help!

I'm a teacher so my problem is going to be the holidays when we usually just mooch from café to café!

I'm the same during school holidays...days out always seem to end by calling in a chippy! Blush We might have walked miles prior that to a certain castle etc but the chippy bit doesn't even it out I think!

We eat at least 5+ a day veg or fruit but my portion control and snacking once the DC are in bed is awful.

How was everyone's day?
Today I ate real food! I had a funeral today and there was a sit down meal which I was not expecting. I had 2 ham, salmon and salad (no dressing) I have to say it was bloody delicious! Had a shake for my tea, determined for it not to send me off plan, will see if it's affected my weight loss in the morning.

I've been really hungry today but sticking to it. I've lost 11lbs in total so that keeps me going!

That's great lleirs : ) def focus on the weight loss.
Weigh in this morning showed exactly the same as yesterday which is great news. 1.6 pounds off my first big goal of 2 stone, eeep! Oh and my jeans fell down today which was good and bad at the sand time!

How did everyone's weekend go?
I had my 5 week weigh in this morning and hit my 2 stone target (plus an extra 0.4 of a pound!) onwards and downwards to my next target of 3 stone.

I'm on antibiotics for tonsillitis! Been struggling all weekend. I have eaten a bit of food but not much as to painful. Hopefully can get back on track mid week now.

Hi hope its ok to join in. Just found this thread and im just getting back into the mind set ready to start again tues. Did this for a week and a half and lost a stone. fell off the wagon but only put 2 pounds back on. So..... I want to loose another stone or 2 and really hope I can stay strong! Im not working at the moment and find it so difficult not to end up nibbling ds dinner! I do it then feel so annoyed with myself arrrghhhh. Seems to be my weak time when im making his dinner. But if I eat my exante meal with him it leaves me in danger of snacking when he, s gone to bed. Seems to be my downfall time. I also wish I could do this diet and still have a couple of coffees a day but I guess thats not allowed? Anyway I look forward to following this thread over the next few weeks for support. Its very motivating and just the support I need.x

Hi, can I join in too? I'm coming up to the end of my third week and am looking forward to some veg next week! I've found it okay, but I've been really busy, which helps.

Busy, you can have black coffee with sweetener. I'm ashamed to say that I probably drink my own body weight (a considerable amount!) in coffee and peppermint tea! Would the four meal programme suit you better, if you need something later on?

Boobafina, - 3 weeks well done! Im going to see if i can do it too! You know if i was a bit busier i know i would find it easier because i am an all or nothing kinda girl! Just up at 5am with the little one most mornings and to bed at 9pm gives me too many hours to think about food and too many cakes and biscuits at the playgroups! I ordered a few 4 a day shakes, the ones i like on 3 day plan and they tasted terrible (really yakky taste) strange as i actually like the 3 a day ones. Anyway i have a couple of days and on Tuesday i am going to go for it and i really am going to do it!!!!!! I have a relatives wedding this year and a summer holiday booked so I AM GOING TO DO IT!!!!!!!! look forward to hearing how you get on. Good to hear your still on the coffee im might allow myself black coffee too.

Hi all,
Just starting week 6 here. I had 30.8 pounds loss on Saturday but had a planned break this weekend. Had a weekend away and wanted a good drink so had to make sure I ate carbs first. Was pleased with my food choices (quinoa salad while everyone else had chips and I avoided the kebab at the end of the night). However I did drink my own body weight in wine and this morning showed a 6lb gain. 6lb!!! Back on it today, a bit of a rumbly tummy this morning but nothing too bad. Hopefully it will be off quickly!

MrsB you can do it! I have a little list on my phone with reasons I want to lose weight. I add to it all the time and look at it in weak moments.

I have been on exante for exactly 2 months today. I had a planned weekend off (and a 6 pound gain!!!) but other than that have stuck to it 100%. Total weight loss for the 2 months is 40.2 pounds. I have a wedding to go to next weekend so am looking forward to another weekend off, it def keeps me going, knowing there is food on the way!
