So, I'm changing my life on Monday...

Well, that's what I hope. Am currently overweight. I am tall so can carry it quite well, but I always feel very flabby and am uncomfortable with my size. I have lost weight successfully before so I know I can do it, but have lacked a bit of motivation and willpower in the last year. Gradually my weight has crept up and trying on clothes yesterday was not fun!!

My plan is this:
Food diary - am a mindless eater
Drink more water - tend to eat when I am actually thirsty
Move more - this will be the biggest change. I work FT now and move much less within my everyday life. I now need to factor in exercise as it is no longer part of my day to day life.

I would like to lose 14 pounds in total, but am going to start with 7 pounds as my first goal!

So, anyone care to join me?

I've got a week away in the UK in 2 weeks which will basically going to be an eat-a-thon. Plus my birthday so I may not be quite so inspiring when you return! Grin

I had a spray tan today- was mortifying. I have promised myself that I will never feel this bad about my body again. Never. apart from maybe in two weeks when I will have drunk and eaten for Britain

Oh god! Nothing where you're expected to wear paper pants could be dignified. How does the colour look though? Am tempted to get one before my hol. But my natural skin tone is whiter than a snowman so would probably look ridiculous.

Honestly, at the moment I look a dark shade of grey. In the morning, presumably, I will be like Beyonce....???

I'm definitely tanned! Love it! Husband keeps laughing at me, and I haven't turned into a glamour puss overnight but I certainly feel better for it!

Hi, am still here plugging away at WW! Have lost almost a stone. Keep having big losses, then will gain a little back then big loss again! So a long and winding road, but am nearly there. Don't give up and well done! X

lost two stone 4 lbs in the last 10 months

mostly by cutting out booze and walking a bit more

Well, to get to my wedding dress weight (I felt great, but hugely unrealistic now as was in twenties then/pre kids) I would need to lose another 7lbs. I have had a couple of weeks off WW and am off on holiday soon so might have to be extra strict when I get back. I find it easier when I am in the routine of work though - less time to snack!!

The aim was to be bikini ready for the holiday - not quite made that, but def feel better and I know that I can lose weight if I want to. I was getting quite scared before that I would just keep getting fatter and fatter!!!

You've done brilliantly Runnaway.

I was surprised to lose 2 pounds this week but pleased, after a bit of a stall. I'm 10 stone 2.5 pounds which is pretty much my wedding dress weight Grin. I'm within touching distance of 9 stone something which would be amazing.

Had a weekend of eating social events so back on track this evening and for the rest of the week.

Another 1 1/2 pounds off this morning. I'm 10 stone 1. Can't wait to see the 9s!

Won't be for a good few weeks though as I've got meals out for my birthday this weekend then holiday next week. The plan is to enjoy myself at meal times without going crazy inbetween. We'll see!

Ps: gained four pound on holiday but scales tell me I have lost two today so hopefully I can chip away the other two next week. The threat of the WW scales works!!!

Reassuring to see you've dropped a bit already. Hopefully the key is getting right back to usual good eating habits straight away and not letting things slide. Having a very virtuous day in the hope of feeling less slug-like!!

Aww thanks. I did thanks, yes, but every so happy to be home too!! Keen to get back to not stuffing myself with food and alcohol every single second of the day. #greedycow

I had a similar stuffing of the face so today has been wonderful, eating lightly and sweating heavily down the gym. Need to get this holiday weight off asap!

Back onto 2300 calories for three weeks, lots of exercise then cutting to 2000 mid September. Can't wait!
