I'm sure it happens to many of us, I try to eat healthy but somehow I don;t know why but get bored of the taste after a while and start missing foods,

like i have been craving a carrot cake, got some weight watchers ones but they didn't taste nice.

what to do? this whirlpool?

Don't eat weight watchers crap. It's full of sugar and just leaves you craving more. If you're serious about losing weight and being healthy for life, eat carrot cake every so often- just make it a small slice of genuinely good, tasty, carrot cake.

I agree with you that's why I am eating normal food, just less of it and no snacks and no sugar. I don't like processed food and I do like veg a lot which helps.

I'm doing mfp and on 1200 calories a day. I'm an evening eater so I eat in the day but very healthy low cal salads and veg so I can use some calories to make sure when I have a treat it's a proper treat not a crappy diet treat.

Nutella on wholemeal toast is good for my sweet tooth - but I log it.

I'm finding that with mfp I'm still eating my lifestyle food but with control over portions. This is the most weight I've ever lost and I feel completely in control and like I could do this forever rather than when I did sw and after 3 months I never wanted another muller light yoghurt again. Now I don't waste calories on stuff I don't really even want. So far I've list 9 lbs in 17 days.

Find a diet that suits you and you'll stick to it.

What sort of things are you eating? If you're living on lettuce then of course you'll feel deprived. But like pp have said, if you eat proper, wholesome food, you should be ok.

mumz
Come and try 5:2

for 2 days a week you eat very, very little - 500 calories actually
4 days a week you eat sensibly : around / just under your TDEE
one day a week you eat and drink whatever you like

it works Smile

mumznet · 04/02/2015 21:48
