Hiya
Firstly for anyone suffering rear end problems Fybogel is brilliant. Totally safe and natural.(Think it might have/be in process of changing it's name to Senokot Hi-Fibre)
Crotchety - I do think vitamin supplements are a good thing, especially on induction. A good all round multivitamin would probably be okay.
I use one from Tesco specifically designed for low carbers - it's called Carb Control 14 Day Nutritional Support Pack. There are 14 individually wrapped sachets each containing 3 tablets and one capsule, in a box. I think it's about £4-£5 for the 14 sachets (a fortnights supply).
Emotional - had any conversations with the gin bottle tonight
Ggirl - sorry, I should have remembered you were on the Clarke plan. If you are on 40g of carb a day, and having a slice of bread, then tbh I wouldn't waste 7.3g on one oatcake - in the New High Protein Diet by Charles Clarke it suggests that if you are peckish between meals, you probably need to eat more at mealtimes. Good luck.
Custy - well done! When you say you can't do breakfast is it a time thing, or that you just don't like eating in the mornings? What about some cold meats?
Bloodcurdlingstrawb - you are getting most of your carbs from veggies aren't you? It's just that you never seem to mention them.
Here's a list of acceptable foods during induction.
Something I have noticed is that now instead of giving you a maximum volume of veggies that you can eat eg. so many ounces or so many cups, it now states that you should eat 12-15g carb a day as vegetables.
I think this is much better as previously it said that you should get most of your carbs from veg, but then said that you could only have 3 cups of veg maximum .
Joelallie - how's it going
